Who's in?

OP posts:
jaggythistle · 22/06/2011 21:21

I'm awfully worried, you lot.

When i have my appointment at the midwife clinic (what with being pregnant and all), I just know I'm going to bump into someone I know cos I always do when i'm there for the GP.

Nearly time to go home from work though so i can stop being silly for a while...

maybebabyR · 22/06/2011 22:42

I shall post a book review tomorrow, I feel a bit of light bed-time reading is in store for DH and I. And smacking that rat of course.

I love a biology lesson. I was in awe of that program. But then I do kind of have a science crush on the presenter. Yes, I am THAT sad a scientist, that other scientist turn into A-list celebs in my eyes.

Jaggy I too have played this scenario in my head. I always picture myself saying 'I'm here for a check-up' though saying it with such a smug little look on my face that behind my back, everyone is thinking I am indeed pregnant....

jaggythistle · 22/06/2011 22:48

ooh ooh I'm a scientist too and i thought he seemed a nice man! you're not alone. he was so darn cheery and interested, if that makes sense.

i am at that mental last few hours of 2ww where your brain just whirrs with the possibility of pg. whirr whirr.

havealittlefaithbaby · 23/06/2011 06:27

Yes, I found him rather sexy too! :)
Right, FF is green, 2 days prior to ? Ovulation day last cycle. It's rat smacking time!! Lured DH to bed last night, not really expecting anything (he has a cold). Just getting him into.the idea that we will be having intimate times the next few nights! Will probably offer gums massage tonight, usually gets him in the mood! Wink

havealittlefaithbaby · 23/06/2011 06:28

him a not gums!

TigerseyeMum · 23/06/2011 08:53

Well I am back from the land of Aphrodite. We gave it our best shot but I have a suspicion we missed our most fertile days because we were up a mountain and by the time we had got down again we were knackered Hmm

Yet more pregnancies have been announced at work. I work in the most fertile office ever, even more fertile than Pip Scofield it seems (what does he do to his co-hosts? Hmm so it means another few months of covering for morning sickness then cooing over new arrivals.

But hey, maybe Aphrodite worked some magic and I will join them.

mememummy · 23/06/2011 11:34

Dru77 · 23/06/2011 12:17

Annnnnnnnd, I'm out.

jaggythistle · 23/06/2011 15:10

Had mega cramps early this morning, so it might just be a practice month here too. Baws.

Of course no actual AF visible yet so i could be very pregnant. Aye.

jaggythistle · 23/06/2011 16:56

CD1 here again so was just practice.

Thanks for the welcome here, but I'm taking a break from charting, FF, Mumsnet and maybe TTC for a month as i think I am driving myself (and poor DH) a bit nuts with the emotional ups and downs of it all.

Maybe see y'all sometime and lots of luck, Not that you'll need it what with being pregnant this month. Grin

LoveInAColdClimate · 23/06/2011 17:05

I'm really sorry, jaggy. I hope you manage to have a good, relaxing break from it all. You know, I've heard that sometimes if you just relax, it'll happen Wink. In fact, a lot of people have shared that wisdom with me...

jaggythistle · 23/06/2011 17:16

Not quite away yet, DH said something along those lines when i was greeting pathetically this morning and almost got his head bitten off Blush

cheers :)

Ariesgirl · 23/06/2011 18:54

:( Jaggy. Sorry to hear that. Come back and tell us next month when you're definitely pregnant won't you?

havealittlefaithbaby · 23/06/2011 18:58

Bye jaggy totally understand your decision. Enjoy carefree shagging!

NinjaChipmunk · 23/06/2011 19:22

Mind if I join you as I'm definitely going to be pregnant this month? I've done the sexing and everything so it has to happen.

havealittlefaithbaby · 23/06/2011 19:40

ninja are you stalking me?! Welcome. You're obviously already upduffed!

pommedechocolat · 23/06/2011 21:01

Wavering a little due to giant forehead spot. Bastard.

havealittlefaithbaby · 24/06/2011 06:22

Ah skin breakout clearly due to pregnancy hormones pomme. MI need to waver, you are already preggers!!!

havealittlefaithbaby · 24/06/2011 06:22

*no need. Duh.

Ariesgirl · 24/06/2011 07:25

Aubers, may I offer my heartiest congratulations on getting six pages of replies on a thread about polo shirts

Ariesgirl · 24/06/2011 07:28

AND moreover, it has made discussions of the day

I have to wear polo shirts for work. I look shit in them, mainly due to the fact that I have no boobs and a wonky scoliosis spine. This is one of the reasons I need to get up the duff as soon as possible - I am very tired indeed of being stupidly bony Grin

LoveInAColdClimate · 24/06/2011 08:49

Shag Dictator has given me two bars! Let the sexing commence. Quite good timing that it's actually over a weekend - normally all necessary TTC sex seems to have to take place in the week when we're both knackered.

I am now deeply traumatised having read some of the polo shirts thread. Not only do I own and wear a polo shirt, but it's from Joules. I think I may be beyond redemption. Perhaps it should become a gardening top...

Ariesgirl · 24/06/2011 11:00

Get to it Love. Hurrah for the shag dictator!

eurochick · 24/06/2011 12:20

My body seems to have got quite good at timing its egg laying for Sunday/Morning over the past few weeks. perfect for relaxed weekend sh@gging.

pommedechocolat · 24/06/2011 16:30

Very convienient eurochick!
I am going to be annoyed if this month is a practice as there is some volatility around dh's job so it would have been a perfect time to adopt the 'oo the timing just couldn't be worse' plus smug tummy rub move.
