Who's in?

Ariesgirl · 21/06/2011 17:50

Oh Bloofs :( Do you want to see my photos?

A BLACK squirrel? Is that some newfangled transatlantic phenomenon?

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/06/2011 17:52

Jaggy - I am also determined not to POAS this month until FF tells me I can. I am sick of seeing offensively white tests staring back at me. Not this month but last I got the temp plummet at 9DPO and was convinced it was an implantation dip. It turned out my body had just decided to opt for an 8 day luteal phase that month. I was pretty upset about that one...

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/06/2011 17:53

Sorry - x-posts. Black Squirrel.

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 17:54

Loveina My shortest has been 10 days I think, I had already POAS on 8DPO though. Averaging about 12 days LP...

BFNs are just darn offensive.

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 17:55

so red squirrel = mutation of grey squirrel. hmm.

Ariesgirl · 21/06/2011 17:55

Fuck! They look malevolent.

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/06/2011 17:57

Speaking of Bloofer mentioning Zita West, has anyone had a consultation at her clinic or bought any of her snake oil vitamins? I have always thought of her as a little bit of a snake oil peddler preying on the desperate, but I'm not really sure why I've formed this view. I'm getting more desperate myself now, though, so wondered if anyone had had any actual experience of her.

pommedechocolat · 21/06/2011 17:58

Love - I will be here with you.
We may have to come up with a zombie type plan against the evil black squirrels.

allhailtheaubergine · 21/06/2011 17:59

Love - are you sure it's not, well, a cat?

Hmm little bit scared of a) black squirrels and b) how on earth we got to discussing them (despite reading back over what I missed making dinner).
Anyhoo!! Welcome to jaggy .
CD 4 here. Feeling very positive already. Still getting sympathy from other threads about af but hey, no self pity or sympathy on this thread. This is the month. I too will not move from this thread til I am upduffed!

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 18:02

hey havealittle, spotted you while i lurked on here for a few days .

My bad for the squirrel chat Blush

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/06/2011 18:03

Aubers - I actually thought it was quite a large rabbit when I first saw it then I remembered that one does not commonly see rabbits in trees and neither do they have long fluffy tails Blush. I think it's just a really, really big squirrel - it's also very dark grey although maybe not really actually black

Pomme - we seriously may need a zombie plan. It looks like it might be quite capable of breaking the door down.

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 18:04

Grin Rabbits in trees!

havealittlefaithbaby · 21/06/2011 18:38

seriously I'm freaked out!

maybebabyR · 21/06/2011 19:08

I love this thread. No really, I do. Not only are we all glowing in our pregnancy hazes, but we are educating as we bloom Smile

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 20:11

I'm enjoying the thread lots already.

My boobs are practically puffing up with pregnantness while I work here, I'm quite sure of it.

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 20:12
havealittlefaithbaby · 21/06/2011 20:44

jaggy I'm flipping starving! On the super low calorie phase of the weight programme I'm on. Need to shed pounds in next two weeks so that when I i get my bfp I'm as healthy as possible! Time for a glass of water, yummy! Hmm

pommedechocolat · 21/06/2011 20:50

I am also starving!!

I quite often am though...

I also have super tingly boobs and some fallopian tube twinges.

Pregnant. Obviously.

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 21:12

I have stuffed my wee face so shouldn't really be hungry.

I'm on the Paul McKenna thread myself, which is a nice system for lazy people like me as no counting or monitoring required. Grin

You're not really supposed to stuff your face without paying attention though...Blush

I'm sure being pregnant means it doesn't count...

havealittlefaithbaby · 21/06/2011 21:13

I've had nausea. Clearly pregnant (prior to ovulating)....Hmm

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 21:14

Practice nausea, obviously. Just so you're ready.

jaggythistle · 21/06/2011 21:15
HidingInTheUndergrowth · 21/06/2011 21:25

God damn it, dp has gone out so now I am going to have to stay awake till he comes home and try and lure him into dtd before he falls asleep! I have to say it is very annoying that I still have to go through all this bother having sex at the right time even though I am obviously going to be pregnant this month.

You would have thought I could just sit around drinking tea or something as it is already a done deal. Hmm

Dru77 · 21/06/2011 21:25

Congrats Aubergine!

I'm still preggo (but only barely). AF is most definitely about to make an appearance although I am enjoying the novelty of noticing the difference in pre-AF symptoms compared to usual. This is not helped but the fact that I have no clue when I ovulated so I could be days off for all I know.

Slight aside - when I was trying ttc #1 I read that cats could smell HCG and there were various testimonials on the internet to back this up. I decided to get a cat to add to the potential symptom spotting barometer Blush. I actually ended up with 2 because it seemed cruel to leave the last one on its own. After a number of years I decided the 2 cats were crap at indicating the presence of pregnancy (even though there had been none) so I went and got another. This happened a few more times until by the time I was actually pregnant I had 5 cats. Yes, 5.
