pommedechocolat · 20/06/2011 17:11

Hah! Girded loins! heehee.
What make of test was it Aubers ?

schobe · 20/06/2011 17:15

Yes I must buy some of those tests that show positive too Wink

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 17:45

Right, yes I'd like to know which tests showed the bfps and also if there was any specific rat splatting techniques employed (already noted the whole raw fish aspect).
AF is on her way out the door. Let the rat splatting commence!!!

BlooferLady · 20/06/2011 18:11

better leave an opening in your girding schobe, or you'll encounter some elementary difficulties on the boffing front Grin

allhailtheaubergine · 20/06/2011 19:03

It was a Clearblue. The cross means pregnant, right?

No specific techniques. I just Clambered On.

And not much in the way of symptoms.

Right. One of you lot is jolly well next and I am Brooking No Argument.

All hail the aubergine indeed.

A friend waited to tell DH with no 2 for 12 weeks as she didn't want to ruin Christmas as he wasn't exactly enthusiastic about the idea. He only realised when he saw an appointment letter for her scan...

pommedechocolat · 20/06/2011 19:19

cb with a cross was what I used when I got dd's bfp and so I ordered some the beginning of the month to use this month to bring me luck.
This is a sign, yes?
Yes, aubers, x marks impending bumpage!

InTheSunshine · 20/06/2011 20:55

I am hailing the Aubergine. Bloody good show. You really were brooking no argument.

Righto this month I am going to get diffed. I am smacking that rat. I am not taking no for an answer.

maybebabyR · 20/06/2011 21:22

I'm with you there sunshine Bring on the rat.

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/06/2011 21:29

Yup I'm making it clear to DH, in order increase chances of smacking said rat, must try to bash it as many times as possible!
I agree excellent example set by aubers our great op! We will follow that example this month.

LateToTheTTCParty · 20/06/2011 21:31

Yay Aubergine!
This has been an amazing think-yourself-pregnant thread, I'm crediting you with my BFP (oh go on then, I suppose DH had a bit to do with it as well Grin)

goingmadtrying · 20/06/2011 21:47

ok ladies well was feeling very sorry for myself but have decided with the success of your bfp's i will be joining you in thinking myself pregnant!!!. Now currently on cd23 so 5 days to go come on that little bean stick stick, but of course it doesnt need to stick as it is already deeply implanted, and i am of course very much with child :)

allhailtheaubergine · 21/06/2011 04:45

My hearty pre-emptive congratulations going. Let me get you a chair, you'll need to take the weight off In Your Condition.

I have told dh - I elected to wander casually downstairs with the test as though I had just done it and we found out together. Slight deception, but he's really not the type to mind about the details and it was rather nice to toast the bean with morning tea. A lovely start to the day.

SleepyFergus · 21/06/2011 05:19

awwwwhhhh, lovely

havealittlefaithbaby · 21/06/2011 06:57

Bless!

goingmadtrying · 21/06/2011 07:19

Congrats auber what a lovely start to the day :)

I myself this morning am feeling very sick (morning sickness) of course now only 4 days till I find out for sure what I already know Grin

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 21/06/2011 09:00

Cor blimey! I go into hiding for a few days and everyone goes and smacks their rats!

Congrats Aubers, you are a lesson in to us all. This thread will live long in homage to your example of positive thinking Grin

Not much to report here as I am still waiting for ov to have occured. Though not absolutly sure when we are going to find time to 'do the deed' as dp is out for the next couple of days. Still, I shall think no nonsense thoughts and be spuring those little swimmers to front crawl swiftly to victory!

Huzzah! Grin

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/06/2011 09:45

Wow! I go on holiday and everyone gets updiffed! Congratulations all! Aubers - you are a walking lesson in the power of positive thinking!

Ariesgirl · 21/06/2011 15:17

SOME PEOPLE ON THIS THREAD have performed admirably on a certain other thread and made me very proud.

That is all. Jolly good show. Now my dearest wish is for us all to get pregnant this month, and say collectively "In your face, bitch!" Grin

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/06/2011 15:30

I thought that too, Ariesgirl - I felt very proud of the performance of the cast of this thread on that other thread and am actually welling up over that as I type. Clearly this kind of display of emotion must mean I am pregnant despite only being on CD11 and the Shag Dictator being convinced I am on low fertility. I am bloody well going to get updiffed this month just to show That Woman - clearly just wanting a baby is not enough and what I really need is some good old total rage Grin.

Ariesgirl · 21/06/2011 15:39

Oh yes, definitely updiffed Love

I too am clearly pregnant. Why else would I feel such rage and anger over someone I have never met? 4DPO today and I think I am starting to show.

LoveInAColdClimate · 21/06/2011 15:50

You might as well POAS, Aries Grin. And it's certainly time to buy some maternity clothes - I can practically see your bump and general aura of radiance from here.

I am going to make one further comment about That Thread and That Woman and then I am going to erase it and her from my mind (yeah, right). WHY, WHY, WHY would you seek out the conception boards to say such things? Why? Why? I am virtually weeping with outrage at the whole thing. I am so pregnant.

Ariesgirl · 21/06/2011 15:54

I know! WHY????????????????????????????????????????????????

I hesitate to wish ill on anyone. It is bad for karma. But...well....you know.

maybebabyR · 21/06/2011 15:57

aries and love I am in total agreement. Hadn't seen it till today, and was gobsmacked. However, I am on CD2 so quite clearly can't put it down to hormones. Yet....

farfallarocks · 21/06/2011 16:02

Seriously, I was so incensed by that thread I could not even think of what to write.
I suspect a troll to be honest.
