Here you go!

CareBear1 · 16/11/2011 22:37

Oh i see thanks If.

Auntie yours changes a lot doesn't it. Was there anything different going on for you in Mar and Jul compared to the other months?

AuntieDoris · 17/11/2011 08:02

My chart can be unbelievably random, and I don't think there was anything particular in those months. It's all incredibly frustrating!

Squirrel77 · 17/11/2011 08:30

Morning all,

IfAtFirst sorry to hear AF is coming to visit you agan - how frustrating! Both you and Carebear have been at it such a long time, I really feel for you. AuntieDoris your chart is looking a lot better this month without the travel.

Next month I am flying to the other side of the world (30 hour flight!) and am supposed to be ovulating around then, which I'm worried will wreak havoc with my temps, not to mention my egg. Have already let DH know that FF suggests a mid-flight sexathon...hopefully he will rise to the challenge Grin

I am still madly spotting phantom pregnancy symptoms, does this lessen as the months go by?! I hope so, as it's hard to concentrate on work at the moment - I am constantly googling signs and symptoms!

Take care

Morning girls

yes this is the first month of charting so not really much to go on I know. Once periods settled after mc (took bloody ages :() I was on roughly 21 day cycles give or take a day, period before last was 5 1/2 weeks and then last period was 20 days hence the charting :)

Anyway CBFM has arrived to going to set that up in the next couple of days so with any luck, charting and monitoring should guide me with what my body is doing even if I don't get pregnant.....

Are any of you girls overweight? I have a BMI of 31 which I know puts me on the fatty end of the scale but honestly I can't seem to get my arse in gear to lose at least a stone, ideally 2 which would still have me as overweight grrr

Happy Thursday to you all :) :) :)

Lex

Squirrel77 · 18/11/2011 08:46

Hi folks,

Lexie how is the CBFM going? I have resolved to get one if it doesn't work this cycle. (DH thinks I have gone over the top). Seems like there are lots on Ebay, where did you get yours?

What do you guys think of my chart? I nearly spewed when I went to a party where everyone was drinking port(!) and when I came home and smelled a quiche cooking last night...hmmmm, symptoms?!

Squirrel77 · 18/11/2011 08:49

PS Not overweight, but I cycle everywhere. I lost about 10kg when I took up cycling instead of catching the train. (and being 5'1", that is a fair bit!) Plus I felt a lot better and more energised. Not wanting to sound like a mad cycling-preacher though Grin

AuntieDoris · 18/11/2011 10:47

I have a BMI of 35.60 (has come down from over 37 I think) and I am doing Slimming World. So far I have lost 1 stone 8.5lbs but that has taken months and months. Partly because I went on two long-haul holidays and ate loads and then took nearly 2 months of work and moved house etc.

Slimming World really works for me because I can eat loads! I am also going to the gym about 3 times a week. It seems to help but I have to work hard at it.

Lexie1970 · 18/11/2011 11:11

Morning!

Squirrel I got mine off of ebay - I was lucky bidding only went to £25 but I still need to check it - OH is home today so will fiddle when he is not around - should be able to tell you next week if I have a bargain or a dud!!!!

Auntie Doris - I did slimming world a few years ago and lost 3 stone - BMI still had me as overweight but I was a size 14 and at 5ft 8 that suited me perfectly!!! Did WW but it was more to meet my mate and get out of the house for an hour every week rather than follow the diet ha ha :) :)

Visit from outlaws tomorrow - deep joy, feel the need for cake so bugger the diet this week!!

pupcake · 18/11/2011 18:03

Hi everyone! Thanks squirrel and carebear for the input on my chart. My temps are all around the same with some small fluctuations (97.7-97.97 F) and I'm 5 DPO today. AF is due a week from today. And yes, carebear I cannot wait to take my temp each day! I get excited about going to sleep because it means I can temp soon! HUGE TTC dork.

squirrel - how many days post O are you? What are your symptoms? Share, share! When are you testing?

Lexie, Doris - I too am overweight. Not entirely sure what my BMI is but I'm about 5'9, 5'10 and weigh ~ 200 lbs. Usually a size 12, but have been gaining lately and now am busting out of my size 14 fat clothes. Not happy. Definitely something that is on my radar and need to work on. A little nervous to be too aggressively with it because I don't want my body to be "stressed" and then get all messed up hormonally. I've been making some small changes the past week or so (less sweets mainly), but really need to get into an exercise routine that works for me. What makes it especially hard is that I spend 3 hours a day commuting to and from work, so I'm totally pooped in the evenings. Really need to start going to bed early and getting up early so I can get to the gym. Perhaps we can be TTC/charting/weight loss buddies.

Hello to everyone else!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 18/11/2011 18:05

carebear :( it's so hard after such a long time isnt it? but there's still something in you that keeps you going. What's your story? Have you had any intervention/help?

CareBear1 · 19/11/2011 12:53

Good morning charters!

Because I've had this bleeding during the month ever since i came off the pill the doctors have been trying to work out what's causing it and I've found the hardest parts where I've been waiting for test results to see whether i've got; an sti, fibroids, pcos, endometriosis - it seemed for me they tested things one at a time (with agonising months of waiting in between) but all results came back fine. I did 2 rounds of clomid but on the 2nd i bled for 3 weeks solid so i stopped. I did a round of ivf in may but it didn't take and i had the same spotting and bleeding.

i've gone analytical mad on my chart this morning - all the time periods in my periods have always been changeable, - 32 length cycles average, ovulation spike about day 18. The last 3 cycles where I've charted all the time periods have been different, but i've noticed that the gap between the lowest temperature point on my chart and the first day of spotting on both of the last 2 months was an exact 14. Plus the gap between the first day of spotting and the the next lowest temperature was again an exact 14. Spooky! Probably doesn't mean anything but I've convinced myself this morning that my chart is righting itself!!

hope everyone has a nice sunny weekend. x

pupcake · 19/11/2011 19:24

carebear have you had your progesterone checked? Just wondering if that might be related to the spotting?

lucytee · 19/11/2011 22:14

hello ladies, can some one pease tell me how you make ure page on fertilityfriends a link so people on here can have a look ?? thankyoux

Squirrel77 · 20/11/2011 08:56

Morning all,

I foolishly had a big glass of water and went to the bathroom before temping this morning and am now upset that my chart does not look pretty any more! But the temps are still high...can't bring myself to test - have become phobic! DH and I have agreed we will test tomorrow though. But I also have the distinct sensation that my least favourite Aunt will be a-knockin' on the door soon. So who knows?

Lucy, go to the Sharing menu, then the Setup tab, and you should be able to do it. Good luck!

pupcake · 20/11/2011 13:43

Fingers crossed for you squirrel! I'll be anxiously awaiting your results!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 20/11/2011 18:52

OOh fingers crossed for you Squirrel

I've just been sat looking at my calendar and have realised that the next two cycles totally clash with Christmas. IF (that's a very big IF by the way) we were to conceive this cycle, I would find out only a few days before Xmas, which means Christmas & New Year drinks are out the window again (had a dry festive period last year totally unnecessarily as pregancy was just an empty sac :()
The December cycle; SWI time would be right slap bang on Christmas eve/day/boxing day - when we'll be staying with my parents!!

jaggythistle · 20/11/2011 20:16

Eek shocking timing if! i remember getting stealth SWI tips on here when we were ttc and visiting parents at wrong time. fingers crossed! x

good luck squirrel. :)

Squirrel77 · 21/11/2011 09:37

Hmmm, big temp drop (temp taken at 5:40 rather than normal 7:30 and FF has given it a white circle rather than blue) and BFN. Doesn't look promising this month. Nevermind, I would have been abroad for weeks 10-16 and wouldn't have been able to have any of the scans/prenatal testing, so perhaps a good thing.

As for inconvenient SWI times: looks like mine will be aboard a jumbo on a 30 hour flight! Grin

Squirrel77 · 21/11/2011 09:40

PS, I may be clutching straws here, but just read this online:

'Your temperature can rise up to one-tenth of a degree for every 30 minutes taken later than normal and fall one-tenth of a degree for every 30 minutes taken earlier than normal. If your temperature wasn't taken at the normal time, adjust it using this rule'

Does this mean I should add 0.4 degrees to my temp for today? (makes the chart look more promising Blush)

pupcake · 21/11/2011 14:06

Hi squirrel! Timing really does affect it, big time. This is my first month temping, so I've been playing around a bit, and sometimes I'll temp at 5:30 am and again at 7 - and there is a BIG difference. Even taking your temp twice in a row, I see a significant difference (2nd temp is higher). It's not over until it's over!

Squirrel77 · 21/11/2011 14:10

Thanks Pupcake Smile

I'm not giving up until that Evil Aunt Flo' appears!

Lexie1970 · 22/11/2011 12:28

Morning all :)

What happens when you wake up early and just lie there and then take your temp at normal time?

Just curious as had trouble sleeping the past few days....

Squirrel77 · 22/11/2011 16:09

Hi all, I'd like to know as well. I think if you go to the loo or have water it'll affect it, but not sure about just lying there. Hope all is well with everyone. Where are you all in your cycle - anyone else anxiously awaiting BFP/AF?

Carebear and Pupcake, your temps are looking pretty good....

CareBear1 · 22/11/2011 19:58

Hi,

I woke up about an hour earlier than normal and temped - went to the loo then temped again half an hour later and again at the normal time. (not that i am obsessed!). The earlier one was a bit lower (by about 0.1 F) but last 2 the same so went with that. I think that earlier is cooler and we heat up during the day. People agree?
