I see Smile... hope your appt goes well and AF stays away x

wheredmysanitygo · 23/05/2011 11:50

Thanks for the welcome and info guys. Will have a play around with the chart view when the boss isn't looking I get home.

Fx for jaggy and scrummy keeping AF at bay.

Hi all

Sorry, I haven't been on here for ages - after mc a few weeks ago, I needed a bit of time to process things and get myself sorted. I had a truly horrid couple of weeks, tbh: mc, then two job interviews, neither of which I got :( plus 3 very stressful writing deadlines. Things are a lot calmer now, though, thankfully, but I'm in the midst of a WTF cycle after miscarrying. It's CD19, my fertility monitor has been reading 'high' for the last 11 days (!), and I've had quite a bit of EWCM since CD14. I usually ov around CD18, but who knows what's going to happen this time. DP and I are just trying to chill out, and take it as it comes. Hope you don't mind me jumping back into the thread, after a bit of an absence! :)

jaggythistle · 23/05/2011 14:09

Hi Molly, nice to see you back and hope the next few weeks treat you a lot better!

That's me back to CD1 as expected. Anyone got any idea how to shut up the bit of your brain that gets it's hope sup every month no matter what? Grin

IslandIsla · 23/05/2011 15:17

Hi Molly, welcome back, but sorry you are back, if you see what I mean. lots of luck to you.

Really sorry to hear that jaggy. CD1 is the worst day of the cycle.

jaggythistle · 23/05/2011 16:43

I am in such a foul mood! Blush I am shocked at myself. I am blaming AF hormones. :)

just trying to get on with work and take my mind off it a bit.

jaggythistle · 23/05/2011 16:51

(getting on with it while on MN of course) Blush

digitalgirl · 23/05/2011 19:00

Sorry to hear that jaggy hope you're not feeling too crappy this evening.

scrummy boo to that bfn. Hope appointment went well.

Molly sorry to hear of your mc. Are you ttc this cycle or just charting to know when to expect af? I'm on my first cycle post-WTF.

auntied hope you're feeling less grumpy today.

Welcome isla and sanity

Well I think yesterdays temp hike was an error as I'm back down to pre-ov range today. Must have wiggled the thermometer while taking my temp yesterday. Anyway, still keeping on with the daily swi so hopefully the egg won't be more than a week away or I think dh might hurt himself! Have been feeling crampy so hoping that is the lining building up nice and thick.

Hi digital and Isla! We're ttc this cycle - I was only about 5 weeks pg when I started mc-ing, and got a very clear BFN when I stopped bleeding, so I think it's OK to ttc this cycle. But I'm being slightly less obsessive than previously. Well, to be more accurate, I spent the 10 days during and after the mc swimming around in a vat of wine (I wasn't just being totally alcoholic - it was my best friend's hen do, so there was an excuse for some of it!), so there was no point at all in taking my temperature, as booze sends it sky high. So it's only been in the last week that I've properly sobered up and started temping again...

jaggythistle · 23/05/2011 19:32

Thanks digital, at work this evening and just not in the mood!

weimy · 23/05/2011 20:23

Hi molly xxx

wheredmysanitygo · 23/05/2011 20:49

So, been playing round with it (thanks to scrummy and jaggy for help) and this should hopefully be the link to my chart

As I said, not much to see yet, but hopefully soon ... :)

I noticed that the BBT overlay says it's VIP only - does that mean most ppl signed up for VIP membership? I'm still on free trial at mo.

IslandIsla · 24/05/2011 08:30

Morning all. I finally remembered to take my temp and it seemed quite high. So I took it again about 5 times and had temps ranging from 36.3 to 36.6. I know - don't do that, its the road to insanity!! I noticed some EWCM yesterday, which is really early for me, and DH is feeling very coldy so we didn't take advantage. Hoping I haven't missed the boat already this month! Will have to get on it tonight! I've told DH he's on duty!

Scrummybumb · 24/05/2011 08:49

jaggy really sorry about AF Sad. I hope you're feeling better today.

sanity woohoo on new homepage Wink. We shall follow it with keen interest

Molly glad to see you back. I hope you get another BFP in no time. Good job about your fun booze week Grin. Sounded like just something the doctor would have ordered.

Had my gyn visit....he thought DH test results were nothing to worry about, but asked him to continue taking selenium, vits ACE and zinc. I've been sent for US to check ovarian reserve and state of uterus and the dreaded HSG! Also, will need to produce CD3 and CD18 bloods, and did a swab for chlamydia. All routine stuff. I asked for an internal exam as well (wanted to establish what that little lump was I was feeling on my cervix) and it turns out it's a tiny polyp. Not googled yet, but he seemed happy with me 'bits' Grin and thought I was very clever with all my knowledge. I guess us on this gang still come under minority.

On the 2WW front, temp down a little, but still defo up. Had a little cramping yesterday and suffering from indigestion and some nausea, but no sign of AF, not even spotting. We shall patiently wait and see....

Hi to isla, weimy, digital, duck and bossy

Scrummybumb · 24/05/2011 08:59

mrsden good luck with your appt tomorrow. I forgot to say that they will also measure your height and weigh you, to calculate your BMI. Plus of course, ask loads of questions

Hi to auntied too Smile

VintageNancy · 24/05/2011 15:49

Hello loves, jumping back on the charting wagon this month. Here's my chart (sorry on iPhone so it might go wrong)vintage

So it's 2ww time for me. I'll be symptom spotting before long!

Will catch up with you all properly later.

jaggythistle · 24/05/2011 17:31

Hi All, slightly less of a grumpy pants today. Grin

Well today it is just generic grumpiness, I presume due to AF hormones. Have stopped being so grumpy about lack of BFP :)

Have actually had worse cramps and mood swings than I can remember in a long time, not sure what's different.

Poppyjen · 24/05/2011 18:05

Hi all, greetings from sunny Greece - haven't had chance to catch up on all of the news, although I spotted jaggy has an unwelcome visitor Sad so sorry to hear that...

Just wanted to let you all know that all my finger crossing must have paid off, wedding anniversary yesterday and BFP!!!!! Can't believe it yet as on holiday. Feels a bit like nothing is real.

So pleased that I started charting, I would have had absolutely no idea about my late ovulation. Wish me luck ladies, won't relax until the next few weeks is out of the way Smile

jaggythistle · 24/05/2011 18:21

I was just statrying to stalk your chart earlier today!

Congrats :) )

Lots of luck and enjoy the rest of your holidays!!

Scrummybumb · 24/05/2011 18:21

poppy a massive congratulations! On your anniversary too Smile

wheredmysanitygo · 24/05/2011 20:40

Congrats poppy, what a lovely anniversary present :)

Glad to hear you're feeling less grumpy today jaggy

Ooh scrummy your chart is looking interesting. Fx you may not even have to worry about all the results from the gyn appt...

AuntieDoris · 24/05/2011 20:46

Gah. I have no bloody idea what is going on with my chart. I expected to have ovulated by now and there is absolutely nothing. Didn't even work out a proper ovulation date last month either.

Feeling really fed-up tonight, mainly because an acquaintance has just announced her pregnancy and she is completely and utterly clinically nuts and I am really resentful that she wins a baby and yet I can't. It just seems so unfair, and yet I know I am being unreasonable.

AuntieDoris · 24/05/2011 20:48

Oh, and congrats poppy :)

What a fab anniversary present.

digitalgirl · 24/05/2011 21:05

Congratulations poppy Smile, a lovely anniversary present.

jaggy glad the grump is ebbing.

Opk still says no and cervix is very much closed so looks like the metformin I'm on hasn't made a jot of difference to my cycle length and I'm on course for my usual cd23-25 ovulation. Which is annoying [annoyedface].

IslandIsla · 24/05/2011 21:36

Congrats Poppy! A wonderful anniversary pressie!

One of my friends is pregnant but is showing now - for some reason that made me sad that I'm not pregnant yet (even though I've know she's pregnant since she tested!). I'm happy for her but sad for me. So I know how you feel doris.

CD13 and positive OPK today!! Totally mental - I've never had such an early OPK - maybe its the breastfeeds we've dropped. Anyway - better go and do some SWIing for the first time this month then!!
