I am due on around the 11th/12th of May. This is our 4th cycle of TTC number 2, after a MC last Jan, and our 2nd cycle using a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor to keep track of things. We managed to DTD 5 times (a record for us!) in the days just before and while I was (hopefully) ovulating, so I have (despite my best efforts) got my hopes up that this month will be the month.

Anyone else out there got 2 weeks of waiting and symptom-checking looming and want some company?

Congratulations hairy!!! I really hope that this one is a sticky.

I'm still feeling negative for this month...I've got a spot and sore boobs, pms for me :(. It'll be a year next month with just a mc to show for it. Im starting to think that I need to accept that we may only ever have 1 child :(, I feel so sad when I see dd playing alone, she'd love a sibling :(

pommedechocolat · 06/05/2011 17:40

Yay for you hairylights! Congrats.

milocuckoomitten · 06/05/2011 18:28

Congratulations hairylights
Sorry to all those with AF/BFNs Sad

I am day 43 now, still no sign of AF, still got the cramps on and off and feeling a little bit sick, none of usual signs at all. Don't know what's going on. Going to test again Sunday morning.

hairylights · 06/05/2011 18:33

thank you all x

blueeyedmonster · 06/05/2011 18:50

Congrats hairy and sorry to those with af getting them

Bellakins · 06/05/2011 18:50

Congrats hairylights!! Really pleased for you. I'm on CD 30 of a 31 day cycle. Getting waves of cramping today and yesterday, and to a lesser extent the few days prior to that. It's uncomfortable but not enough to take pain killers. Usually I would just get cramps on Day 1 of AF so this is unusual for me. Probably AF is on its way but can't help hoping! Not going to do Pg test till Monday, assuming AF hasn't turned up! crosses fingers

DreamingOfABump · 06/05/2011 19:54

cngrats hairy fingers crossed for a lovely sticky one.
mellie dont lose hope, it seems like forever but a year is still a 'normal' amount of time. its should happen soon x
For me im in limbo waiting for either AF or BFP- currently CD 29 0f 27 BFN's so far.

pommedechocolat · 06/05/2011 21:39

AF came this evening on just day 24 of cycle. Now trying to convince myself it's implantation bleeding as doesn't appear to be 'normal' colour :)
Oh well, next month hey.

eurochick · 06/05/2011 23:02

Woop woop for hairylights!

milocuckoomitten · 06/05/2011 23:42

Until someone mentioned it I had no idea that vivid dreams were a sign of early pregnancy, but I have been having 3-4 really odd dreams in a night quite often over the last couple of weeks. I had noticed I was having more than usual but not linked it at all so I can't have been imagining this one. I do have odd dreams every now and then but never more than 1 in a night normally.

mamarara · 07/05/2011 00:31

yippee congratulations hairy! Brilliant news.

flyingcloud · 07/05/2011 07:47

Congratulations hairy.

AF arrived last night on CD26 at least it means we can start trying sooner and less waiting and Hoping this cycle.

pommedechocolat · 07/05/2011 07:54

That's a good way of looking at it flying cloud! Have already told dh that next weekend is all about shagging :)

DreamingOfABump · 07/05/2011 08:12

milo if i were you i would pop to the gp and ask for a blood prego test. at least you would hen know one way or the other and im sure they would be happy to do it

ElmMum · 07/05/2011 08:49

Massive congrats hairy.

melies, really feel for you. TTC for a year is a long time in reality, even if it's normal medically/statistically. How old is your DC? My DD is 3 at the end of this month and I really thought she'd have a brother or sister by now. Even at the very best, they'll be nearly 4 years between them and that's if we manage to have one and if I get pregnant in the next couple of months. Both bigs ifs. So I really know how you feel :(

Good luck to everyone else :)

She is 3 elm, we're looking at a 4 year gap now. I wish we'd started trying earlier, I just thought it'd be easy like last time (caught first month with her). It's soul destroying isn't it? I've had some pale brown discharge this morning which I get 2 days before af usually so this month is out for me :(. Good luck to everyone else x

FidgetPie · 07/05/2011 09:28

Hi all (and massive congrats hairy!)

Despite my good intentions, i POAS this morning - even though I'm only on CD21 (BFN, but I guess it would be either way this early on). Although it's our first month trying, I'm remembering how it was when we were trying for DD1 (TTC for 18 months - conceived naturally in the end after a referral to fertility clinic) - I went a bit mentalistic/obsessed and almost ruined our sex life forever!! So if it is a BFN this month I am going to try and be more chilled out about it for a bit (not sure how, but will give it my best shot!)

Good luck to everyone who is still waiting (and large glasses of wine to those with AFs)

eurochick · 07/05/2011 11:17

Oh well, I am definitely out. AF got me in the middle of the night.

So that's 5 cycles of perfectly-timed SWI that have resulted in absolutely nothing. The furthest I have got is what I think was implantation bleeding once over a year ago when we were not timing anything.

Off to the docs on Monday for my Day 3 test.

milocuckoomitten · 07/05/2011 14:30

Dreamingofabump
Yes I am definitely going to GP on Monday after doing one more test tomorrow morning.

mopey · 07/05/2011 14:41

Hi again everyone - have been keeping a bit of a low profile although lurking occasionally - tbh trying to keep my mind off it to make time go faster until I can realistically poas.
Congratulations hairy that is great news and bad luck euro hopefully next month will be the one for you.
I am feeling a bit queasy today so hoping that might be a good sign although still very early as AF not due until Friday 13th (hopefully not a bad sign!!) - luckily I have not bought any tests yet otherwise I would be very tempted. going to try and hold out until Wednesday.
Good luck to all others testing this week.
FC'd for lots of bfps.
x

mopey · 07/05/2011 14:43

Just had a thought - actually think my queasiness is related to 2 rather strong coffee's I had mid morning - damn!

hopingitsthismonth · 07/05/2011 18:50

Congrats Hairy! brilliant news.

well i had a small bit of spotting today- 7/8 DPO so hoping it could have been implantation. with my last 2 pregnancies i had implantation bleeding for 24 hours on day 7/8 DPO ish- but both those times it was like a period for 24 hours though so heavier than today, but cant all be the same i guess if looking on the bright side.. maybe... :-)just need to hold out and not test for a few more days now...

Bellakins · 07/05/2011 20:05

Sound good hoping

I've decided to test tomorrow morning, unless AF comes overnight of course. It's supposed to come on Sun according to my ovulation calendar but I actually think I ovulated earlier than it predicted. So this would mean AF is already late by a day or two?

Yikes. Husband wants me to wait until Monday to test but I can't. wait. any. longer!!

hopingitsthismonth · 07/05/2011 20:31

oooh bella- what type of test have you got? an early detection one? if so tomorrow might give a (good!) result...

Bellakins · 07/05/2011 20:38

I've got Boots own brand and a First Response, so it'll be FR tomorrow morning! Getting quite nervous. Wanted to do it this morning but my husband talked me out of it. He's more sensible than me!
