PinkFondantFancy · 07/05/2011 08:02

Hello all sorry just a quicky to say h Grin a Grin I Grin r Grin y Grin yay yay yay for hairy!!! fantastic news! Sending you sooooper sticky vibes

I can't remember who it is, maybe Hadrian that's on blood thinners. Is it clexane? I'm on that too-it's hit and miss, sometimes goes in fine and can't feel it at all and sometimes stings like mad! If you search for it on MN, there's been a few threads with tips over the years, some of them are really helpful.

mamaptwin hellllooooo yep defo been having weird stitchy pulling feelings! Hope you're doing ok lovely xx

Have a lovely weekend all!

cep · 07/05/2011 08:11

congratulations hairy fx for you.

hi hadrian congratulations again.

batteryhen · 07/05/2011 08:19

Having had the scan yesterday I have started bleeding - red blood running down my legs.I had my first clexaneyesterday - surely this wouldn't have made this happen.

I hate today.

katherine2008 · 07/05/2011 08:24

battery hun are you ok. have you called EPU? fx it's nothing but the drugs. please call someone though.

mousebaconmakestinysandwiches · 07/05/2011 08:25

Oh battery, I'm so sorry you have this worry. I have no experience of your injections but I couldn't not post.

Is there a hcp you can call? Fingers crossed for you xx

batteryhen · 07/05/2011 08:38

I am ok - I have no pain, feel very very sick and the one gush of blood I have had has stopped for now. I will call the gynae ward if it carries on. I have cancelled all plans for today and will do nothing. DP is away but I have good friends nearby and parents up the road. I just want my baby :(

I watched a programme the other day - about a couple who have 18 kids. I only want one.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 07/05/2011 08:39

battery have posted on common room thread but am thinking of you and keeping everything crossed x

cep · 07/05/2011 08:41

battery am so sorry you're getting this now, second the others, could you call epu or go to a&e?

cep · 07/05/2011 08:42

xpost glad it's stopped will keep fx it stays stopped.

nickstermum · 07/05/2011 08:43

Hen :( xxx you must be so worried, am thinking of you and hoping its just one gush xxx

Ninunina · 07/05/2011 08:46

batteryhen I'm keeping my fx that its just the meds. Is your epu open all weekend? Mine only opens on Saturday morning, so you might want to call them now if you want a reassurance scan. Thinking of you xxx

Daisybell1 · 07/05/2011 09:00

Oh hen fingers crossed for you here too. Please phone everyone possible to get some reassurance - EPAU, Dr's, A&E surely someone must be open?

PinkFondantFancy · 07/05/2011 09:00

battery I'm thinking of you. I wouldn't have thought clexane would cause it but because it thins your blood if you've had a small bleed it might make it so it seems like a gush IYSWIM? so hopefully although it seems like there was a lot of blood its just a small bleed and nothing sinister. Huge hugs for you-I'm gutted you've had this ruin your weekend :(

batteryhen · 07/05/2011 09:14

just called the gynae ward who said to go to a&e if I was worried. I asked if they would scan me and they said no they don't scan at the weekend. So what is the point? I will keep an eye on myself and If I am worried I will go. Otherwise i am going to stick it out on the sofa.

Velvetcu · 07/05/2011 09:53

oh battery so sorry this is happening. It really annoys me that noone will do anything at the weekends either! I hope you are ok.

owlbooty · 07/05/2011 11:07

Hen :( I did actually get a quick and dirty scan from a (non-gynae) doc in A&E when I ended up there in the evening as the EPU wasn't open - if you get any more bleeding it might be worth going in anyway I'd have thought especially as you're on the blood thinners. But you've got to do whatever causes the least amount of stress for you, hope this turns out to be nothing more than one of those random bleeds that seem to be so common amongst us lot. xx

batteryhen · 07/05/2011 11:38

thank you lovely ladies. I seemed to have stopped now after this initial gush. I will wait out on the a&e front, and if I have any more bleeding I will go. I did a cb digi this morning too which showed 3+ .

I'm not going to take my clexane unitl I speak to the Dr on Monday.

Honestly if this pregnancy lasts I will be a nervous wreck.

hadrian · 07/05/2011 12:26

Oh battery what a nasty scare that must have been. And at the weekend as well. It's not me on clexane - I don't know anything about it - but it does seem to be a bit of a coincidence given that you just started the meds yesterday.

So glad the bleeding has stopped, am hoping with everything I've got that you don't get any more. Put your feet up and try not to worry (says she who is currently panicking about 3 times a minute).

Minnie74 · 07/05/2011 20:24

Trying to catch up on everyone's news-feel like i've missed tonnes since wed. I've tried to read everything but hope i've not missed something or am weeks behind!

battery that sounds so scary. Glad the bleeding has stopped- i don't think i'd take the clexane again either until i was sure (not that i know anything about it but does seem a bit of a coincidence) fx for no more stresses

hairy congrats on the bfp Grin

collie harrassed scooby yay on the great scans x

bump hope the pains have stopped. Same things as mc are scary i know. I had exactly the same bleeding as mc but at the moment seems to be a totally different outcome. My friend who's a gp keeps telling me to remember this is a different sperm, egg and pregnancy and not to compare but it's so hard.

hadrian i'd try ringing the epu if you're worried i was scanned at 6 weeks with my mc. This time when i rang, even though the bleeding had stopped, the nurse said just to say i'd had a bleed and i'd get a scan because of last time so you could always say that.

lara i'm with you on the luck running out. I drive dp mad saying "well i don't know anyone who has happened to so it must be us." Blush

blackkat yay for on the list and ringing the midwife Smile Maybe I'll do it too in couple of weeks

I feeling sick pretty much constantly -even with really attractive seasickness bands- only feel better when I'm eating! And not healthy stuff either! Not tired though which is worrying me as everyone in RL seems to think I should be, even my mum.

Also I'm worried as I have two cats-who are definitely baby substitutes Blush and work colleagues are saying I shouldn't have anything to do with them from now on or I'll be responsible for another mc. I've had them 12 years though and can't possible imagine not having them. Is this really true???? Confused I'd appreciate any advice.

Ninunina · 07/05/2011 20:31

Minnie I really don't think you need to get rid of your cats. That sounds a bit extreme. Your cats can't harm you, the only thing that can is their poo, so just get someone else to change the litter if you can. Extra hand washing can't hurt either.

hairylights · 07/05/2011 20:37

I also have a cat Minnie

Not worried (but if this pregnancy succeeds he will be excluded
arom some areas)

battery hope you're ok.

batteryhen · 07/05/2011 21:03

minnie I too have a big old soppy cat who is my shadow. I don't feel the need to get rid of her. Just take extra care with litter trays and when gardening. :)

hairy haven't said yet how lovely it is for you to get your bfp, am really pleased for you. Fingers crossed this is the one for you xxx

No more blood here, but spotting which is not ideal but better than this morning. Thanks everyone for your thoughts xx will let you know how I get on xx

Minnie74 · 07/05/2011 21:05

Oh god i knew this was too good to be true. Have just been to the loo and I'm bleeding - reddish pink. Very worried. Not sure what to do. Have had some cramps on right hand side today but just thought it was stretching pain. Sad

batteryhen · 07/05/2011 21:35

minnie sorry to hear that I know how scary it is. Don't panic, (says me) can you ring your local gynae ward or go to A+E if you are worried? xxxxx thinking of you xxx
