I started another bus! I can't believe we got full so soon :o

From the last thread:
"He has said - 'no gym, no sex' - that'll do it!"

:o

OMG I love your DH, he sounds hilarious :)

Woohoo - congrates wigs!! Could still be but think it highly unlikely - think I have probably got myself all worked up and this is making me queasy - without TMI there was quite a lot of gunk this morning!

xstitch · 12/04/2011 10:20

Congratulations wig.

Hope you are OK modern, any pain? How many weeks would you be. If you would have reached 6 weeks would maybe be worth contacting your local EPU. When I had my MC the started with a lot of bright red blood. The first one I flooded.

BlueCrane · 12/04/2011 11:22

Congrats wig fantastic news!!

modernvickyp · 12/04/2011 12:14

I feel ok - apart from a bit queasy - no pain really - not even normal cramps or sore boobs that I normally get with AF. If I was pregnant then it would only have been 4 weeks. Started like a normal AF then overnight was very heavy with gunk. Do you think I should see the doctor/EPU?

maybebabyR · 12/04/2011 12:47

Afternoon everyone

Sorry haven't checked in in a while. Congrats on all the BFPs, and sorry about AFs.

I had another BFP on thursday, then AF started on Friday, so I am thinking a definite chemical pregnancy. Good news is AF buggered off yesterday (loving these new AFs since the pill Smile)

So I think I am waving goodbye to the bus, but I shall be lurking to see how you all get on Smile

Thanks for all the support, lovely lovely group of ladies Smile

sevenfrustrateddwarves · 12/04/2011 13:09

Sorry to both maybe and modern.

blue it's so frustrating isn't it? I'm now on CD38 and 24dpo, with another BFN today.

maybebabyR · 12/04/2011 13:38

Hey seven

Sorry to hear you are in limbo. Is there any chance you ovulated late?

spidookly · 12/04/2011 13:42

maybe - given all your BFPs, why are you presuming it's AF?

I really think you should see a doctor. When did you last test? You might still be pregnant. Bleeding in early pregnancy is not uncommon.

modern - Very gunky period doesn't really mean anything. It may be a chemical pregnancy that was never picked up by a BFP, but it is just as likely to just be a period with a lot of clots. It happens.

maybebabyR · 12/04/2011 13:52

I see where you are coming from spidookly But there was fresh blood, though most of it was brown stuff.

I may take another home test and see what it says. I think it is just the disappointment of being told again that I have lost another pregnancy that is stopping me from seeing the docs Sad

Thank youo for all your advice Smile

MickyLee · 12/04/2011 13:54

Sorry modern hope you are feeling ok

Hi maybe very stange to get another BFP though... what is going on with your body! I think you should check with your doctor too and hopefully get a blood test or something.

Blue How are you feeling now?

Not been able to get on MN until now.. for some reason I could get on everyother site except here and hotmail, the most important ones!

I think us shortarses show pregnancy bumps quicker because we are not as long. I was in maternity clothes from 3 months with both my other pregnancies. So as I have got to purchase all the clothes I need for 6 months in one go, will have to get a mix.. Exciting though :)

spidookly · 12/04/2011 14:00

"I think it is just the disappointment of being told again that I have lost another pregnancy that is stopping me from seeing the docs "

:(

Aww sweetheart, I'm so sorry you're going through all of this :(

seven I'm so sorry for your continued frustrations...I've booked a docs app for Thursday morning and hoping to have either a bfp or AF by then but if still nothing happenning I will be v interested to see what they say.

micky thanks for asking - not in any pain but still v bloated! Will chat to docs on Thurs as just v confused at what's going on! I too have a feeling a bump will show through pretty quickly...and my trousers are already super tight with being so bloated and I don't really want to have to buy the size up if they're just going to have to be replaced with mat ones soon (hopefully!!)

maybe and modern hope your situations become 'clearer' v soon in terms of what's going on!

I'm going to try a bit of reverse psychology on my body now and list my current 'symptoms':

  • needing to pee...lots...even when I've just been
  • itchy nipples
  • slightly sore feeling in breasts, mainly at night
  • v v bloated
  • full of wind
  • quite emotional - bit rollercoaster like
  • v tired
  • cramps on and off (as well as the mega ones last night!)

mmm...think that's all I can think of for the moment! Wink

ThePippy · 12/04/2011 15:10

Hi maybe really sorry to hear you are feeling so down. I really really hope for you that this is just normal early pregnancy bleeding. On the re-testing, one thing I would say is you might not get a BFN anyway even if you are correct in your assumptions about it being a chemical pregnancy. I had a MMC at 12 weeks (baby had died at 9wks) that resulted in an ERPC and about 3-4 weeks after the op I was still upsettingly getting BFP's just because it takes a while for your body to get rid of all the HcG.

I completely understand your reluctance to go to the doctors though - mine were a bit rubbish about the whole thing and I was left waiting almost a whole week from the devatsating 12wk scan to the ERPC operation, so I have totally lost faith in them now.

sevenfrustrateddwarves · 12/04/2011 16:15

Ok I know I shouldn't have done but I got earlier's test out of the bin and there is a faint but definately there line. When I tested it wasn't easy to read as there was an imperfection on the result window (I may have splashed it Blush) and the window was still a bit pink from testing so I couldn't really see.

I'll do another test in the morning with FMU. I can't even tell DH as he'll tell me off after getting my hopes up when something similar happened with an Internet cheapie.

Poppyjen · 12/04/2011 16:39

Hi ladies, sorry I have been awol for a while just wanted to pop back to say hi and add my sympathies to blue and seven - I eventually got AF on CD 56 after nothing but BFNs (except for on the clearblue which as most of you know is another story entirely... Angry ) and by then I thought I would go mad with the frustration!

It turns out that it was probably for the best that we didn't manage it this time, DH has just found out there's a chance we could be moving out to New York for a couple of years in the next few months Shock if that happens I think we'll put DC2 plans on hold at least until we're moved and settled.

MickyLee · 12/04/2011 16:58

seven Ooo.. is all I can say. FX for tomorrow :)

Poppy How exciting!!! New York, how cool! Hope you get the chance. Wow Grin

weimy · 12/04/2011 17:19

Sorry modern :(

Hope things get cleared up for seven, maybe and Bluecrane

no news here not sure if ov'd yet so am on appx cd19 and still swi'ing xx

BlueCrane · 12/04/2011 17:44

ooh seven here's hoping!!! Really hope you get a clear result in the morning and that you DH's 'hunch' is right afterall!! fx for you

If it is what you hope it might be then it possibly gives me a little ray of hope that sometimes the hormones just take forever to show up on the tests!!

sevenfrustrateddwarves · 12/04/2011 17:50

Oh wow poppy how exciting!

Thanks Micky, trying to forget about it until tomorrow morning after getting my hopes up last time then getting a BFN the next day. I honestly don't mind if I'm not pregnant but just wish if not AF would hurry up! This is so unlike me to be a whole week late though.

sevenfrustrateddwarves · 12/04/2011 17:52

Thanks blue

pink13 · 12/04/2011 18:03

Modern, I bled quite heavily after my BFP last week and it had clots. Am terrified as it might be a miscarriage, but the doctors said that as I didn't have any pain, I should be scanned at 6 weeks to check one way or the other (scan is booked for Thurs). They have been really nice about it, so I would go. Hope it goes well x

CMD83 · 12/04/2011 19:23

Hi all, hope you don't mind if I hop on. I have been lurking around for a while, This was my 7th cycle after mc and I finally got my BFP at 10dpo!!! fx for all thise who are in limbo or waiting to test it will happen for you :)

maybebabyR · 12/04/2011 19:54

Congrats CMD Smile

Thanks for all the advice and kind words everyone. POAS again, and a definite BFN.

Feeling a bit more positive now, and am just taking it as one of those things. Just going to start enjoying TTC again!

sevenfrustrateddwarves · 12/04/2011 20:44

Congratulations CMD!

Sorry maybe, glad you're feeling more positive now though.

Hope all goes well on Thursday pink and you get some reassurance.

Karbea · 12/04/2011 22:35

Hello,

Just checking in really...

Nothing really to report, I'm imagining that my boobs are more veiny but that's it....

How are we all?

Congrats cmd.
Poppy oooo lucky you!!!
