When I had my first scan with DC2, the doctor said "Two babies" I started crying with happiness. Then his face fell. Turned out he was winding me up!

Twins run on my Mums and Dads side, I suppose it could be a possibility for me?!

Well I've been out all day, came back and you've finished the thread, love the new title though! I apologise I didn't read the last 2 pages of the old one [lazy emoticon]

I didn't have my smear, the nurse said she wasn't happy to do it unless i was 100% certain I'm not pregnant, hopefully I won't need it next month.

I dunno, I always had visions of my cousin at feed times just sort of louging there with her boobs out like a dog with puppies... That would sort that little job out!

Never mind about the smear seven I had my first one last week but was only 1DPO so nurse was ok about it

seven that's odd, the nurse I saw, when I told her we were ttc, told me it would do a pregnancy no harm whatsoever.

Hmmm, that's why I am nervous about anything a medical person tells me.

Pregnancy symptom today - Rounder stomach (although think that's more to do with eating loads more lately)

Brown goo update = we have blood! And pain :(

Will update stats now. I don't think Monday counts as the first day, it was just a harbinger.

Can I ask y'all for your thoughts about sport and ttc? I don't want to put my life on hold while TTC, beyond drinking less during the 2ww. But one of the sports I do quite regularly (supposedly about 3 times a week) is rowing. I think that if I did get upduffed, I'd have to give it up - although it doesn't happen very often, the possibility of an oar thwacking with force ('catching a crab') into my lower abdomen is a bit worrying. But I don't know if I should give it up now, to be on the safe side, and just do a bit more running or something. What are your attitudes to sport and TTC?

AFAIK, molly running isn't one of the best sports when ttc. It's debatable whether it's encouraged, particularly in ladies after mc. I am still running, and in half marathon training, but plan to abandon it in favour of gym cycling and pilates when I finally become updiffed. I wouldn't give it up until I got a BFP though. If that helps at all?!
