Hi all I got kicked off the November bus yesterday so am now joining the December bus. Would love to concieve as I'm a Dec baby too. Feeling really low at the mo went to see myfriends 2week old baby yesterday hoping it would cheer me up which it did while I was there but now I just feel crap

Hello donkir - just welcoming you aboard the December bus, sorry AF got you. It's so hard seeing other people's babies, isn't it? You get the loveliness of them and the happiness of your friend and want to be supportive and pleased, but there's a big swell of 'when is it going to be my turn' too.

Hi can I join, ttc number 3, second month and on cd 7. Both taking all sort of vitamins here basically following marilyn Glenvilles plan. Also starting drinking grapefruit juice this month, a bit sceptical about it but thought what the hell might as well give it a try. But since drinking it been waking up in the morning feeling very sick, oviously not preg as ony on cd 7. Might be too acidic.

Just realised only just scrapping on this bus, if conceive would be due 1st of Dec. So I will probably be the first to be kicked off then.

Spidookly for a spilt second thought you were trying for twins , not exactly sure how you would go about that

If there was a way to not try for twins, I might give that a shot :o

Although there is a tiny part of me (the part that knows that this could well be the last time, should it happen) that would love to have twins.

I'm also taking vitamins. Started 6 months ago on just folic acid but as was taking us a little while to concieve this month I've started on the Pregnacare conception ones. Does anyone think vitamins and minerals actually help if you have a healthy diet? I think I know deep down they're not really helping me concieve but I still spent loads of money on them lol.

Orangehead, he's just taking cheapie vitamins. Gets so expensive otherwise as I give my DS multi-vitamins too. I'm very confused I've done 2 different web ovulation calculators and they're both giving me completely different dates. On here its 8th to 13th and on gurgle its 13th to 18th. I can't do it both weeks I wont be able to walk. Do I just average them out and do the middle of the 2 weeks?

I wouldnt pay too much attention to the dates as different for everyone. Best trying to figure out when you ovaluate, either through checking your mucus and position of cervix. Or though strips or temping.
I think I ovaluate earlier, all my other pregs at my dating scan I always end up being a week more pregnant than what the dates say I am. But this is the first month of checking, so shall see

What age are your children? Mine 9 and 7. So all this feels very new, been along time

Orange - I'm on CD 14 so imagine I'd be kicked off first but then again I did get on the wrong bus as only realised after hopping on that my EDD would be 24th Nov. Bloody buses hey!

Orange - I am also on the grapefruit juice (yuk) and then apparently we are meant to drink pineapple juice in the last few weeks.

Not sure what help it will do, but I am sucker and will try anything!! Starting to get a little desperado about the whole TTC (esp as DH sister has just announced she is pg after her 1st month of coming of the pill!).

In May my DC turn 2 and 4. Just taking folic acid atm (save the expensive pregnancy vitamins until i am)

what does grapefruit juice do?

Cookie - I quite like the taste of it. Already got the pineapple juice handy.
Micky - some else will probably tell you better. I only heard about it a few days ago on here. Supposed to help with ewcm. You supposed to drink a glass day till ovaluate then pineapple juice afteryou ovaluate
