Oh yes, this place is filled with your finest hormonal roller coasters, dodgems (mainly enjoyed by the spermz) and the finest side shows you'll find anywhere. Come and squeeze our buzzwams to check for imaginary aches & pains, play 'guess when I'm ovulating' (made all the harder when you're as wizened and decrepit as we are) and indulge in a little light WOOFLing if you're feeling up to the challenge. There's are even droid shies for taking out your pain on the beeping little fecker when he comes along to rain on your parade.

So, if you've been TTC since the chairoplanes were the latest attraction, let's hear about it.

Oh you must have missed the fondue and vin chaud last night Beebee Bad luck.

Not much to tell really, Trumpkin. Weather was rather iffy, with lots of rain lower down and therefore wet snow further up. Vis was bad a lot, so you can't tell what you're skiing over sometimes, which is actually quite good for your technique as you have to respond to the snow under your feet more. Went up to the very top on the last day which was amazing - it had been shut due to 100 km winds for a lot of the week, so getting up there finally was quite amazing. It's about 11,000 feet and there was a lot of powder and the pistes weren't well marked so that was a lot of fun! Am going to rent/get some new skis for next time. What am I talking about "next time" for? I will be diffed so therefore won't have a ski for ages and ages. ILs were fine most of the time. Very generous as usual. MrA is gallivanting the other side of the world for another week so am trying to stay with my parents for a while. Trying hard :)

Ivegotmrbitey · 21/03/2011 20:13

Sounds lovely airskies, I also seem to have missed last nights treats but will accept a toblerone instead

my husband is also jetting off for the week but to Miami, am deeply jealous Envy Envy

truff you are truly a dirty berty! With your husband indeed!

HighPriestessBoo · 21/03/2011 22:02

Hello loves. I've made another Cake for you. Is there any toblerone left?

Welcome back to Blightly Rie

I've got nothing to say. I'm just quietly WOOfling away in a corner.

kat2504 · 21/03/2011 22:10

Hello Boo am Woofling too! Trying to keep away from any sticks. The Man is away snowboarding this week so am trying to distract myself and avoid imagining a faux pregnancy. I have a FR but am staying strong so far, anyway it is stupidly early and the ov tests were all over the place this month so god knows what is going on.
Seems like a few of the beshmen are off gallivanting this week.
Have some interviews for supply teaching on Wednesday to keep my mind off it - hate interviews but hopefully some work will come of it, as I only have 3 weeks left at work now!
was saying to a friend that actually the way to get diffed would be to apply for full time jobs to start in September, as that would be a serious bad move if I started in a new school 4 months diffed. So if i get a new permanent job, I will therefore get diffed the following week. Logic, innit?

Hello rie glad the ski trip was fun!Hope your parents are not being too trying!

HighPriestessBoo · 21/03/2011 22:29

When's your testing day MeowMeow?

kat2504 · 21/03/2011 22:51

In theory Sunday is four weeks from my last period. Ov tests this month were not conclusive. Anyway if I oved late I have no chance as could not do Teh Sechs for anything later than perhaps a 30 day cycle. I could perhaps test on Thursday at the earliest. I ought to save the test and wait for the beeping one to arrive. I have a grand total of no symptoms whatsoever.

HighPriestessBoo · 22/03/2011 13:04

I've had shedloads of symptoms but I'm pretty sure they are all wishful thinking. Testing day would be Monday if droid doesn't come. Best of British :o

Ivegotmrbitey · 22/03/2011 13:54

Is anyone else suspicious at the scattering of the ESH men to the four corners of the globe? Are they somewhere together comparing pee-stick stories?

Ivegotmrbitey · 22/03/2011 13:55

PS not staring at anyone but have updated spread sheet and kidney boxing will begin on Monday the 28th. That is all.

kat2504 · 22/03/2011 18:28

The ESHmen are escaping the menkulling so they don't have to hear about whether or not to do a peestick! I keep all mine fairly secret though so he has no excuse. You won't need to box my kidneys! I am a serial tester, I usually get through at least three a month. I only have one left now so if I crack before the weekend Boots will be making even more money out of me.

Interviews tomorrow so have obviously had to purchase new outfit. What a shame! Clearly I do not have enough work clothes already. Must now do a compulsory try on and find best shoe match session :)

Ivegotmrbitey · 22/03/2011 18:43

you may need new shoes too kat

AlpinePony · 23/03/2011 07:55

kat If you can buy some very expensive clothes and very high stilettos this could ensure your diff this month! Wink

Symptoms:
i) womble flutterings/implantation spike
ii) Sorry my delicate little flowers - but gas that could take someone's head off*
iii) JB says my boobs are "bigger than normal"
iv) Absence of giant hormonal progesterone-zit on chin

Set Menkul Defcon to 2.

*Before receiving BFP last time was actually jet-propelled due to gas. I'd walk across the office and have to try and (unsuccessfully) clench to avoid taking out partitian walls. Blush

milanomum · 23/03/2011 08:04

Boo symptoms, you say? Pliz to share.
Hahah Alps I got the gas after the first month (and I think it killed my neighbour's dog)
Just to fuel menkul, my symptoms were exactly like PMT ones. the only difference is that my buzzwams didn't hurt mid-month (the way they usually did) but closer to when droid was due.

Would anyone like a bit of Italian sausage? Grin

owlbooty · 23/03/2011 09:55
Truffkin · 23/03/2011 10:07

Ski those are some proper mekul fuelling symptoms you've got going on. When will you be POAS again?

Kat I have always struggled with the dilemma of weighing up general grievance of spending money on stuff I can only wear to work with my general love of buying anything and have now managed to strike paydirt by working somewhere that I can wear things I would also wear in real life! I have a large collection of print dresses and M&S shoeboots that have seen me through the winter well and will shortly be sorting out my spring wardrobe if today's sunshine is anything to go by. Good luck for the interview, the luch of the ESH is with you.

Boo pliz to be sharing your symptoms for us tomekul over to? There's a love.

Also, request to be remembering that there were no symptoms anywhere near me (I do not get them for the droid either) and look where that got me!

Today I am mostly trying not to feel overwhelmed by the volume of work on my to do list for the next 2 days. We're off to a weddign on Friday and as I've been feeling like shit a little under the weather I have been less productive than usual for the last week-- few days. This means I have to complete, run through with 2 people and practice a presentation cum discussion session I have to deliver on Monday (this is a what I call, Big Deal as will be large group of peers and bosses - eek) as well as pack up my office for removal over the weekend (on the plus side, we are in new swanky offices from Monday) plus I need to take car to garage for replacement tyre, collect TGB's new glasses, sort out our stuff for the wedding, purchase Mothers' day cards and token gifts to distribute whilst we are in the mother land this weekend and buy a new fascinator. Hmmmm, am sure it will all just slot into place....

But it's sunny outside so who cares Grin

Ivegotmrbitey · 23/03/2011 11:48

Careful not to lift anything heavier than a fruit cake truff Wink

Good luck for the interview Kitten

Has someone been eating Italian sausage around here?

milanomum · 23/03/2011 12:39

Sorry alps for some reason I thought you were talking about miniAlps symptoms not actual current ones...

AlpinePony · 23/03/2011 12:49

I POAS this morning, yesterday morning and Monday morning. Naturally not only do they say NO, but instead of simply a second line not appearing, an effigy of Jim Davidson appears and smirks at me.

I will continue to POAS until I soak them with blood. At the prices amazon charge it'd be rude not to pee on one daily.

BarbiesBeaver · 23/03/2011 15:12

Jim Davidson appeared on it? Then I think it is your duty to shit on it surely?

Truff finished all yer list yet?

Stabbing is going ok here (not that any of you heartless slags have asked). My smiley face I was aiming for (in injection site bruises) looks like two big blobs I'm afraid. Clearly I have much to learn in the way of injection site art.

kat2504 · 23/03/2011 16:13

alps I need some amazon sticks. I hope Jesus will appear on mine, that is more likely to happen than get a positive result.

I caved in and did a test. please slap me with a fish. Obviously negative for two reasons. 1) it is too early 2) I am clearly not pregnant.

No symptoms. Boob acheage, but I get that before the droid without fail every month. Tiredness is caused by being tired, not diffed. Oh well, as of next month we will be living together, although I really do not see how I can ramp up the efforts any further!

Interviews were ok and have one with another agency in a couple of weeks time so hoping to get plenty of work. Well, not too much as I am looking forward to a bit less stress.

truffs In the summer i can wear real life clothes to school but this works less well in winter. In summer I love getting a nice new Boden dress. I will pass this year due to appaling fat levels. I like M&S in general but have an irrational hatred of peruna. Think it is the ruffles and sequins. Sounds like you have a lot on at the moment, enjoy the wedding and the shiny new office and good luck with your presentation.

I have just eaten a lush chocolate bar. Guylain (makers of belgian choc shells) make a praline bar. Very tasty indeed!

starcuntmole · 23/03/2011 16:23

bbq , I never really know the etiquette around injection inquiring. 'Did you get it in right?', 'was the prick smaller than you hopedfeared?', 'do you find that repetitive stabbing in roughly the same area produces results, or merely sore bits?'....see, none of these really hit the spot. You is DHB for spiking yourself repeatedly in the name of baybee catching, and we are humbled. And a little turned on.

I have been a bit hit and miss here, as lurgy has struck with its full force, and last night i drank a bottle of wine and was Blush we're now heading off on 2 day jolly, in one of those parcs au centre, so will see you bitches laters.

PS Get the red biro out, apls ,you know it makes sense.

HighPriestessBoo · 23/03/2011 19:04

Soz for being so very evil and selfish Barbie

What is your injection site? Is that a personal question?

My 'symptoms' - Tired All The Time (but that could be something else - more on that later)

  • aching tender buzzwams
  • weeing frequently
  • increased CVM - including slight pale braaan discharge
-funny aches in womble -nasty snappy and screechy with MrBoo

The 'something else' I alluded to is to do with the fact that I went to the docs and had some blood tests last Friday because I am sick to death of being tired and dizzy all the time and I wondered if it were 'something'. results are back and are 'slightly elevated' so I have to go back in two weeks for repeat of liver function test, full blood count and serum blood test. They also found some blood in my urine and are retesting that as well. I'm sure it will all be fine but I have to admit to you that I am a wee bit worried about it all.

Have a fab time at CP Moleycunt - which one are you going to? You picked a good week for it.

kat2504 · 23/03/2011 19:12

Oh boo that sounds like you are quite worried. perhaps blood in urine is a UTI? I had some a while back and the doctors disbelieved me and said I must be just spotting from the foof. I told them I had used a compact mirror when peeing (tmi!!) and then they believed that it was not vaginal spotting. One week penicillin, all sorted.
Really hope that the results are ok and you feel better pronto.

Ariesgirl · 23/03/2011 19:20

Poor Boobs. Like Kat said, perhaps you have a residual wee infection or something?

Sorry Barbs How are the 'jections? Are they sore? You are dead tough to inject yourself.

My consumption and I believe pulmonary embolism due to last week's altitude, show no signs of abating. They'll all be sorry when I end up in a sanatorium, coughing weakly. I was made to do JOBS today by my mum - hoovering and digging the veg patch. Some people are so horrid Grin I may as well be a put upon spinster aunt who had a Disappointment. This single life is doing my head in, even though I moan meanly about him when he's around. Sigh.

HighPriestessBoo · 23/03/2011 20:10

Thanks lovelings. The nurse did say that the wee test strips are very sensitive and she didn't sound overly worried about it, she just said to pop another one in to be on the safe side.

:o at your Mum making you do 'jobs' Rie. My Mum comes round most Thursdays and she makes me do 'jobs' in my own house. Hmm Wink

MrBoo is pissing me right off too. He's been signed off sick and although I am sympathetic (he has excema (sp?) in a very... erm... tender place) he's just so bloody milking it. I am having to behave like Hattie Jacques to keep him in line (I certainly have the chest for it :o ).
