Oh yes, this place is filled with your finest hormonal roller coasters, dodgems (mainly enjoyed by the spermz) and the finest side shows you'll find anywhere. Come and squeeze our buzzwams to check for imaginary aches & pains, play 'guess when I'm ovulating' (made all the harder when you're as wizened and decrepit as we are) and indulge in a little light WOOFLing if you're feeling up to the challenge. There's are even droid shies for taking out your pain on the beeping little fecker when he comes along to rain on your parade.

So, if you've been TTC since the chairoplanes were the latest attraction, let's hear about it.

moley go alfresco ;-)

I think a lot of people were put of beetroot by theat tinned cubed stuff they used to serve in school (and on Pizza Hut salad bar) Which bears about as much likeness to fresh beetroot as I do to Kate Middleton.

I was sick in a jam jar once. At the kitchen table. It had jam in. My mum was very unhappy!

milanomum · 18/03/2011 20:25

I have no such spectacular vomit story but my sister puked all over the table once after being told that no, she couldn't leave until she'd eaten everyting that was on her plate. That told'em.

Truffkin · 18/03/2011 20:35

Ooooh I've got a good vomit story!

I was strongly encouraged to go on the waltzers as a teenager even after protesting they made me feel ill so when I felt queasy after the 'scream if you wanna go faster' behaviour of my friends, I vommed in the pocket of my mate's shirt. He was less than impressed.

OP posts:
rocketleaf · 18/03/2011 21:14

I once vommed in one of those 2 sided plastic sleeves (only thing that was handy in the back of my parents car) Unfortunately it wasn't sufficient to hold the volume of vom and so it sort of ski jumped out of either side, covering the car door and my sister.

Also my niece once vommed on my BIL head while he was giving her a shoulder ride. You can imagine he was less than impressed.

InTheSunshine · 19/03/2011 09:09

Loving the vom stories. It's a beautiful day here and I am off to work at a big race. I get to wear a Monica headset tomorrow so I'm very excited.

Mole your post yesterday has made me hunt down my Adrian Mole book. It's at my mums. Can't wait to read it again Smile

Have a lovely weekend BESHers

starcuntmole · 19/03/2011 16:48

Stupid I pod lost my post. It basically demanded cake, complained about night of 2 hours sleep and continued vomiting, and praised George Michael's ability to laugh at himself. CAKE.

Ivegotmrbitey · 19/03/2011 16:54

boo please will send me that cake? It might make up for the complete lack of beetroot salad that came my way yesterday despite scrapping on the stairs. Nekkid.

moley I was once sick in a big bag that didn't have a closed end. It turned into a funnel enabling the direct depositing of drunken teenager sick (the very worst kind) direct into the seat of my freshly vacated jeans.

sunny I am Envy in the extreme of the monica headset.

Truffkin · 19/03/2011 19:14

Oh Boo that cake looks amaze pliz to send food parcel?

I very much liked the Smithy sketch on Comic Relief last evening, made me laugh a lot. Most of the rest of CR made me weep however, not good for my already blotchy cold-symptom face!

Today we went for a walk to order TGB's new glasses (he got free sunglasses too and spent an inappropriate amount of time looking for sunglasses that would make him look like something from Top Gun - worried) and I had to buy some vicks vapo-rub to help with my stuffy nose. I don't think TGB was massively impressed with my blocked-nose related snoring last night so am hoping it will have an effect soon. Tonight we're trying a hot curry to see if that blows the cobwebs away.

Hope everyone has enjoyed the springy day today, a bit of sun does wonders for the spirit doesn't it?

AuntieDoris · 19/03/2011 20:31

Evening peeps. Hope all is well. I am full of cold and a bit grumpy with it but currently reclining on the sofa watching Frankenstein's Wedding Live. Marvellous.

Truffkin · 19/03/2011 21:36

Oh Dor. Sorry if I passed the germs onto you and I hope you're over it soon. I think the vicks is having an effect and wish I'd tried it earlier in the week. Sometimes the oldest remedies are the best!

I am currently MNing / playing scrabble online / surfing whilst TGB plays his new game, 'Killzone 3' how delightful! I should imagine I will shortly be retiring to my pit, to sleep of the last of this lurgy

I just had an argument with my DP about the news of all things. I hate the news. It depresses me. He insists on watching it, and I normally don't mind, and watch it with him. But this thing in Libya - he was saying, "If this isn't an oil grab, then I don't know what is." And I know he's right, but the level of downer-ism just pushed me over the edge, I had a little rant and stormed out of the room, and put myself to bed. The world is fucked up, and I feel so powerless, and to channel a bit of Rie from a few weeks back, do I really want to bring a child into this?

Am tired. Day 13 of 18 now complete. Day 14 tomorrow. I need a day off. Sad

Oh, and now I've cooled down, I feel like a fool and feel reluctant to wander downstairs and to the bathroom to clean my teeth.

Rock'n'Roll in the Brown household.

Ivegotmrbitey · 20/03/2011 18:33

browniespromisetodotheirbest me and himself are having the same arguments, the bad news is just getting too much. I have found myself listening to nice things on the iplayer instead. Total denial seems to be the way to cope. Not long now till you gave a day off, you sound very tired- come and have a cuddle hides rainbow trout behind back

Ariesgirl · 20/03/2011 19:56

Hello. Am back

And now have to go to tea.

Back in a while

starcuntmole · 20/03/2011 20:13

just to clarify, fondUE , or fondLE ? Not that it matters

InTheSunshine · 20/03/2011 20:41

Welcome back our Rie

Have just eaten Thai takeaway. Was beaut. I live in permanent denial about bad things. Some days I think about it all & I swing from angry to sad. But mostly overwhelmed.

My nephew came 3rd in a race today. I was so proud I cried!!

Ariesgirl · 20/03/2011 21:00

Either, Starry. I'm easy.

Anything good happened? Just off to the PESH board to see if Meds has laid.

starcuntmole · 20/03/2011 22:03

Nothing but vomit round these parts lately, v quiet. Am coming up to laying time, but thinking I might have a month off- could do without the angst for once, and doing well on exercise/healthy eating plan this month, so thinking might concentrate on that for a bit.(Bit being like another 4 weeks, so not like long or nothing)

Also, I may have fallen in love wih Brian Cox.

AlpinePony · 21/03/2011 08:04

Welcome back Aries - tell us all about the slopes! Did you get much action in?

I dreamt last night that I got a BFP, so happily POAS this morning. I think you can guess what it said. Hmm

starcuntmole · 21/03/2011 09:59

OMG- finally achieved the holy grail, had Mitchell dream Grinwasn't even any nakedness, but it was gert lush.

Take back what I said about having a month off TTC due to extreme exercise plan- partly as weigh in this am reveals exercise doing bugger all to aid weight loss, but also may have accidentally slipped and fallen on BBB last night Wink

owlbooty · 21/03/2011 10:04

Moley it was that super-appealing shot of him at 5G that did it, wasn't it? Grin

RIE :) Welcome back lovely. Meds is deliberately not laying purely because we all bet MiniMeds would have turned up by now.

Brownie I really can't watch the news any more. Everything is shit and I just sit there snivelling and snottering at it wondering why people are such bastards to each other.

Pony Bum. That is all.

Truffkin · 21/03/2011 11:49

I had some extremely graphic dreams last night as well, although strangely they were about my husband Shock what on earth is wrong with me? Am I so full of snotty cold stuff that my imagination has deserted me?

Come on Rie tell us all about your lovely holibobs pliz. I am not 100% sure we will get any vacationz time this year so would like to hear about everyone elses instead

OP posts:
BarbiesBeaver · 21/03/2011 12:23

Truff your husband? What a pervert you are, I had no idea.

Pone did it make the noise of the computer from Family Fortunes when the big cross comes up?

Droid turned up over the weekend so jabbing commenced once more last night. Hopefully this means I will actually be able to post more instead of sulking and waiting for the metal bastard to turn up.

Rie welcome back! Where's our presents for looking after the fish for you?
