Oh yes, this place is filled with your finest hormonal roller coasters, dodgems (mainly enjoyed by the spermz) and the finest side shows you'll find anywhere. Come and squeeze our buzzwams to check for imaginary aches & pains, play 'guess when I'm ovulating' (made all the harder when you're as wizened and decrepit as we are) and indulge in a little light WOOFLing if you're feeling up to the challenge. There's are even droid shies for taking out your pain on the beeping little fecker when he comes along to rain on your parade.

So, if you've been TTC since the chairoplanes were the latest attraction, let's hear about it.

That is helpful. Thank you Trumpkin

Actually I ordered some by first ever batch of preseed today The car also cost us £500 this afternoon. Yes, that's the new car Angry

AuntieDoris · 01/03/2011 20:26

Hello peeps. Je suis ici.

I am working like a bastard at the moment and feel like i am spending the rest of the time at the gym. How the fuck I am managing to find time to shag is beyond me!

On the plus side. I managed to have a conversation with my sister today. I even feigned interest in her new baby and did it without crying. I have to admit I am feeling pleased with myself.

Now... WHERE'S MY FUCKING BABY!!!! ME NEXT!!!

Ariesgirl · 01/03/2011 20:54

Dor, there is a queue you know...Wink

AuntieDoris · 01/03/2011 20:56

Think the queue might be more like a scrum.

Truffkin · 01/03/2011 20:57

Stupid bloody car, that's massively not on. I barely use mine since starting work in the city centre and feel a bit Envy (that's sickly green, not jealous of myself) at the money it costs me for just sitting there on the drive. It's a lease car so I can give it back in 8 months time I'm interested to see if you can create your own swimming pool at secs time when you use the pre-seed. Oh, actually, you won't need to use it as I've decided we're both winning this month. Just do you know Wink

Oh. Dor. I'm impressed with you, truth be told. (I know you're all reading that in Nessa's accent) As Aries so rightly said upthread, the nieces and nephews somehow are able to transcend the Envy and just be lovely, cute, adorable things.

You are right to ask the question though. Also, if you are working so much, can you not give the gym a miss more often? Don't go burning yourself out now, there's lovely.

The problem is that I really need to lose weight. I am like a fat Guernsey cow.

Ariesgirl · 01/03/2011 21:10

Well we need some decent front rows, I'm not gonna lie to you.

Truffkin · 01/03/2011 21:16

I also forgot to say that I found out a friend is pregnant via comments on facebook last night so I sent her a text and she confirmed. I called her today to have a chat and it turns out she and her boyfriend decided they would try, stopped using condoms and 2 weeks later she got a BFP. She had already used the iphone period tracker app so knew she was in her fertile period, did the sechs twice and voila! She's older than me and quite matter of fact about the 'we were both quite shocked it happened so quickly' I thought I would be very, very Envy but I'm actually not. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

Ariesgirl · 01/03/2011 21:19

Dunno Truffs. Sometimes it gets you, sometimes it doesn't. How old is she? How old are you? I don't even know.

HighPriestessBoo · 01/03/2011 21:25

I don't get cross when it's my friends. Even after the last MC. I just wanted my baybee, not theirs.

I did find people moaning about how hard work their pregnancy was incredibly fucking irritating though.

Some celebs grate too.

kat2504 · 01/03/2011 21:29

alps we aren't living together because when we met I had just started my job and met him who lives over an hour away. Now can leave job, would have done so beforehand if baybee had materialised. Was living at his more than at mine in last six months anyway. If I'd have had original baby I'd have left work and we'd be living together already. So I thought well, why should I carry on with job I hate, putting up with living apart because I am failing at diffment. Is not my fault after all.

truffs I apologise for parade raining! I will make up for it by sending baybee dust your way and some fertility fairies too! How long till pee sticks time?

AuntieDoris · 01/03/2011 21:34

Hahah Aries that amused me a lot. I would be a perfect front row!

kat2504 · 01/03/2011 21:44

truffs is very frustrating isn't it? I have friends same age pregnant and it's hard not to feel utter failure.y best friend got a win first month both times. Ironically the pregnancy I lost was not strictly speaking planned. Not entirely prevented, but was not actively desperately trying. Now I have tried since august sans luck.

Clearly I need to get a better model of iPhone. I am blaming Apple for my lack of pregnancy. If only an App was all it took.

rie good luck with preeseed purchase. I invested in similar in boots today. But how does one use it discreetly? Appears to be proper passion killer!

HighPriestessBoo · 01/03/2011 21:50

Am even more pleased for you Kat now we have the back story. When you moving in then?

Truffkin · 01/03/2011 21:52

Oh Boo you are so good! I will admit to feeling some rumbling anger when SiL announced their current diffment as she has now got pg without even thinking about it 3 times and she is married to the BiL who kept whining at me about 'providing my husband with children' although I didn't want her baby, I felt a bit hard done by that she's got it so easy and I was struggling blah, blah, wah, wah.

I'm 32 Rie and friend is 35. I know neither of these are ancient enough to be moaning really but you know, it just dispels that myth that older women have it harder! SiL is also 3 years older than me, so again it appears that age aint nothin' but a number......

Ha ha Kat I's rather have the parade raining if you're going to resort to baby fecking dust. FF says I can test next Friday if no droid. This is only CD26 so I'll be leaving it until Sunday at the earliest. We're away that weekend for our posh hotel stay so I am hoping droid stays away (spa, wine, mud room for 2...) and I can maybe test on the Tuesday morning when we are back. That would be CD 30, so more realistic if still no droid.

P.S Kat yes, if the app was the secret I'd have about 4 kids by now I think as I avidly fill in the info very day

Babaydust ShockShockShock

kat2504 · 01/03/2011 22:07

They should make a vomit emoticon I reckon it would do well on here. I could use it when my mother goes on about me having a baby. She means well of course... But is one for all the relax and it will happen bollocks. Perhaps we need some new age crystal healing too?
I am tempted to suggest "babydancing" to the man and see how well it goes down. See if it compares to my current seduction ploys?

HighPriestessBoo · 01/03/2011 22:09

Truffs It was my sisters I don't know if I'd be as magnanimous but the eldest sisters children are 18,21 and 22 and the other one has chosen to be child free so at least that isn't an issue. Although all the bad feeling that's coming my way from that direction possibly has something to do with me having a child - as things started to go a bit funny about 9 months on :(

HighPriestessBoo · 01/03/2011 22:11

And Truffs SIL's are different. There are people all over MN driven mad by theirs. Thanks God mine is nice (at least I have her even if my sisters hate me :o)

starcuntmole · 01/03/2011 22:13

God you lot can go on about baybees- I was under the impression this was the 'help mole out with her accommodation problem' thread- clearly I was mistaken

HighPriestessBoo · 01/03/2011 22:17

You need Sunny, Astraladygarden. I know nuffink. Soz.

starcuntmole · 01/03/2011 22:21

SILs, SILs, SILs...what I could say about mine....(though my brother's girlfriend is amazing, so cancels the Witch of Eastwick out) When I told her about the mc, she said, 'the way I see it, you were lucky to have one, so I doubt you'll have anymore' Treasure that she is Hmm Gives me loads of bitching ammunition though, so its not all bad Grin

starcuntmole · 01/03/2011 22:24

Don't mean that in a poor me way btw- just an example of her twattery- I know I get off very lightly in the family stakes. Where you at boo? We were a bit in sync ish for a bit, but you have a wee short cycle there don't you? This short Feb thing is throwing me, am concerned I'm going to get carried away by date, and think I'm late, forgetting about the 2/3 day discrepancy.

BrownB · 01/03/2011 22:26

I'm 36 damnit... Though, at the party on Saturday a lovely young woman feigned surprise when I told her that, and declared she thought I was her age... [30]

And Rocket - you have a lot to answer for! After uttering the fatal words "implantation dip", I of course went straight to google and looked at FF avidly. And of course, the menkul being what it is, I did in fact have a temp raise this morning. And my serenity has fled into a corner to be replaced by nutty 2WOOLF-ing-convinced-I'm-pregnant-craziness. 8DPO. Too early to POAS. Don't even look at my kidneys... I have baby dust to repel you..!

In other news, Silks wasn't as bad as expected. I was even at court today and it wasn't as bad as expected. And I got to see my DP's fabulous son this evening, which was fun. We played star wars. Grin
