Oh yes, this place is filled with your finest hormonal roller coasters, dodgems (mainly enjoyed by the spermz) and the finest side shows you'll find anywhere. Come and squeeze our buzzwams to check for imaginary aches & pains, play 'guess when I'm ovulating' (made all the harder when you're as wizened and decrepit as we are) and indulge in a little light WOOFLing if you're feeling up to the challenge. There's are even droid shies for taking out your pain on the beeping little fecker when he comes along to rain on your parade.

So, if you've been TTC since the chairoplanes were the latest attraction, let's hear about it.

brownie - they are only in the canaries. its not like there has been a disaster there or anything but Dad by his very nature is a worrier (and i stayed behind to keep him company so he would be less so). So yeah I administered a slightly shin injuring text to my sister and hopefully they will be a bit more thoughtful. But pales into insignificance in comparison with the worry you must be feeling.

Hope the gin helps you sleep and you wake to hear everyone is accounted for.

HighPriestessBoo · 22/02/2011 23:19

oh and starbeaverbeaver - no it's always been like that from time to time. Btw you made me howl with laughter on the PESH thread when you suggested the 'one child, unwanted cat' fred. I meant to tell you then. It was ace :o

AlpinePony · 23/02/2011 09:22

re: Mr Kyle - JB swears blind he saw an episode where one of these young rat boys stood up shouting "yeh... WELL... I don't even know if she's the muvva!". ShockGrin

brownb Menkul, mean and somewhat unbelievably in uniform whilst doing such things. :( I hope all your family & friends are doing ok. Gin

truffs I too am a corporate whore and it happened completely by accident. One day I was at uni studying sciency stuff and being captain of the women's drinking team, the next day I find myself having done an engineering degree and wearing a suit. :( Wtf? I'm not sure what I'd do if I could - I got the nod from St. Hildas a few years ago to do vet medicine - but a 6 year degree scheme is not compatible with being "ancient" and not having a trust fund. I was 33 at the time and didn't want to be 40 when I graduated, 100k in debt and sans bloke/kids. An old school friend of mine is now studying medicine and says it's a piece of piss - as a grown-up you just do the work, don't get pissed all the time - plus she reckons the yoof are all fick and lazy and everyfink. Of course when you graduate you're at the mercy of the NHS, the Student Loans company an trigger happy ambulance chasers. Oh joy. Some girls I went to school with are crofters on remote scottish islands. Can I have that pls with a bit of cash on the side? Wink I don't know what I'm going to do when I grown up, but right now I feel OK about things. JB is the SAHD to all intents and purposes, he works part-time and either does nights or early mornings and is usually home by 10:30am. It suits us - I only wish the twat could cook. Angry

Sorry for being so self absorbed yesterday but thank you for the menny menny kind congrats Smile.

Feel extra bad for not reading your posts properly BrownOwl and extending a big cuddle your way. Have these hair strokes instead? Um, did I ever mention I have a thing for police officers?

Ivegotmrbitey · 23/02/2011 10:14

PS Paxman is mine Angry and I will get a bit hair pulley about this.

PPS Now thinking about about Paman in a police uniform, it is making it hard to do my literature review!

Medee · 23/02/2011 11:18

BrownB really hope all your loved ones are accounted for soon.

milanomum · 23/02/2011 12:52

Browner I am so sorry to hear about your family and friends being caught up in the earthquake. I really hope you get news of everyone soon

Truffkin · 23/02/2011 13:22

I met Paxo once, he was filimg a programme about victorian wimminz commiting suicide by jumping off lambeth bridge. He was friendly and nice and chatted with us whilst they were waiting for a shot to be set up, which I wasn't really expecting. TGB was most excited and had his photo taken with him.

Excited for another new baybee in the deli! We really do need to pull our fingers out to either get our wins quickly or recruit some new BESH who are better at it than us. The deli will be empty at this rate.

Ariesgirl · 23/02/2011 18:45

InTheSunshine · 23/02/2011 19:54

Just popping in to say bye for a little while whilst I'm off sunning myself. Oh, and also I LOVE Paxman. That's all.Grin

Ivegotmrbitey · 23/02/2011 20:05

lara I don't know how many BESH, PESH and FESH there are but easily enough for world domination I should think?

AuntieDoris · 23/02/2011 21:39

What do PESH and FESH stand for?

BrownB · 23/02/2011 21:48

Hello there ladies. This morning was surprisingly...okay. As for Christchurch. Am still sick to my stomach when I think about it. Thanks for all your kind wishes. Bitey, SunnyD, I bow out of the Paxman competition. I have enough on my plate right now.

BrownB · 23/02/2011 21:49

Is the 'f' not for forever?
chocolatefudgebrownie sending muchos smoochos.

Happy holidays in the sunshine Grin think of us in the damp mist while you smear on the factor 30 we'll certainly be thinking of you while you do it

I have spent day with two children who are near in age. It has reassured me that there are advantages to a larger gap Wink

laramie if you look at the PESH thread on Antenatal clubs, you'll see all the successful BESH since its inaugeration.

In other news, I am disgustingly full of cake and home made baked cheesecake. Good for mu soul, if not my thighs.

Truffkin · 23/02/2011 21:59

Erm, sorry to bowl in late but I believe it could be Forever Evil Selfish Hags. Pliz to referee Rie my sweet?

I'm getting annoyed at Masterchef being s bit too X Factor for my liking. I liked the old one better and I really miss the tongue in cheek intro sequence. "It juuuust geeeets tougheeeeer"

My mistake...

rocketleaf · 23/02/2011 22:20

Yup it's Forever. Fertile would be a bit like rubbing salt into the wound for those still residing in the Palais. Easy mistake to make though and not the first time it's been made neever.

Have lovely hollihops shinybootsofleather come back bronzed and diffed if possible.

brownie still thinking of you and those in CC.

BrownB · 23/02/2011 22:51

Life has been... dramatic... for the past wee while. I'm exhausted with it all. No change expected soon either.

BrownB · 23/02/2011 22:52

ps - thanks for the hugs and hair strokes. Having two brothers, am not used to such kind and lovely treatment. Grin

Ariesgirl · 23/02/2011 23:22

Sorry, only just seen. F stands for Forever. I think Fertile would be taking the piss, quite frankly.

Do you feel surrounded by luff and fluffiness, Brownie? If so I feel duty bound to administer a black eye and a bar stool over the head. Take that! And that!
