The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

You'll never know. Everything I thought I'd be as a mum has gone completely out the window now I actually have a daughter. I watched that show Lizzy, hated it! There was one cringey scene where the boy decided to go to a strip club with his friends and that's when his parents decided to reveal their presence - while he was mid-lapdance! Blush They didn't seem to mind though, they thought he was very well behaved.

Congratulations Katee! Wine

And welcome Flowers Grin

How are you all today? My mum has announced to my entire family that I'm trying for a baby Hmm. Can't tell her anything!

Got2Dance · 04/02/2011 22:43

Wow - thanks for telling us all that dee. I feel like we know you so well. That must have been insanely hard over the years, but lovely that you now have Manshape. It also explains why you're still shagging a few times a day! Grin Grin

Welcome Flowers - that was quite an entrance you've made to the thread! I've learnt something now too!

babylan - Angry at your mum, although you don't seem as mad at it as I would be.

I had my 12 week old niece over this afternoon for 3 hours. Was wonderful. Can see that it would be hard work full time, but she was so adorably sweet and lovely. My DH came in after work and melted too...he took her from me for sleepy cuddles! Got her again next week. :)

Also had a fun meal out with DH tonight. First time in ages - Prezzo's using Tesco clubcard points. Such good value!

babylann · 05/02/2011 13:10

I know G2D, I was furious! But I don't know what I expected really; I've known my mum for a long time so have always been very aware of her inability to keep schtum about secrets. Angry Luckily we're a small, close family and I'm sure they'll be a bit more discreet about it than she was, but still!

She said: "I was talking to aunty X about it and... Blush Oh god, I'm sorry. I didn't know if you wanted me to tell people."

I didn't even want to tell her! It's just that she comes shopping with me so meant it was the only way I could get folic acid. And she knows I'm a secretive person and didn't even want people to know I was pregnant til after my scan last time around, but she told everyone that too. Tut tut.

Apparently she's petrified because when I was pregnant with DD I had SPD and EMCS, and a number of health issues after the birth, and she's scared it will all happen again, so she can't stop herself from talking about it now that she knows.

Had to cancel skiing today :( DP forgot to reschedule an appointment he had which clashed with it, but thinks its for the best anyway in case I'm pregnant. Guess he's got a point, but still.

SleepyCaz · 05/02/2011 22:01

Hi Ladies.

Back again :)

Period has returned (last week) and finished on Monday :) So have been JSing like mad.

Still feel a bit down, but onwards and upwards!

NervousNelly · 06/02/2011 00:13

Hi Viroids

Just home from my 2nd night out in a row, go me :). But wanted to say hello to caz. not surprised you still feel low. Glad you feel up for joining us again though, fingers crossed for a less upsetting experience this time. Lovely to have you here again :)

Welcome back Caz so pleased to see you. :) You'll see a few have left us, so it's especially good to have you back in the fold.

Have the next couple of hours to myself. Been a really busy w/e with working, entertaining and then with the PIL for lunch. DH has now tottered off to church and I'm planning on watching a Midsomer Murders. Not quite comparable to his activities! They are my guilty pleasure!!

Quiet on here today - folks doing ok?

Put the shag-cape on today. Great to get back into it. Decided on a different strategy this month. Instead of the FC's instructions of day 12 and 14 (to which I add 10 and 16) we are doing 8, 11, 13 and 15. Ooo...spice up that sex life!!!!! Grin

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 06/02/2011 23:44

Ok, so I was supposed to wait until at least the end of this week to POAS. But I felt inspired by katee and did the deed this morning and...

BFP! Grin

I haven't told DH yet and will wait for him to get home from work before doing so, so you viroids are the only ones that know (if any of you are up and on the internet at this hour!).

excitedLJ · 07/02/2011 07:47

Yay Practically!!

How exciting!!

What a lucky thread this has been - although not for me as I also tested on Sat and BFN and now the ERTD looks to be appearing today with VENGEANCE!!!

wow, what a lovely way to start my working week - another upduffed viroid! Woop! Grin

kateepie2 · 07/02/2011 08:27

Hip hip hooray for practically! Actually, it was you who inspired me to POAS... as you'd said in an earlier post you would do it out of boredom, and the idea just popped into my head... tee hee!

Hoping this is a lucky thread for the viroids! Excited tell the ERTD to bugger off!!

Wine (virtual or otherwise) all round!

My ltp is now turning into a bfp (bigger fatter positive) but still not that strong, so keep your fingers crossed for me ladies!

xx

Got2Dance · 07/02/2011 08:44

Congrats to Practically - that is excellent news. Great. And Katee - yours sounds more definite too.

Whoop whoop!

I am now on a diet. Offically. This flabby belly does not appear to be turning into a baby bump and so I think I must take action.

Hate diets.

babylann · 07/02/2011 09:33

Congrats Practically! This is looking like a lucky thread.

Think I may follow suit and ask DP to get me a test on the way home from work. Was planning on leaving it til next week but am already symptom spotting like crazy and I too have been inspired!

Good luck with the diet, G2D. If I don't get a BFP this month, I'll probably do the same. Fed up of my mumtum.

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 07/02/2011 10:36

,y God! Practically ! Shock
Grin

well done!

I can't believe we've got 2 BFPs already and we're only on 91 posts!
ShockGrin

At this rate, there'll be noone left to graduate at the end! Grin

crowette · 07/02/2011 10:52

Morning ladies! Congrats on the BFPs - hopefully many more before long Grin

Well, I think I'm about to ovulate ... got the twinges in the right places. Been taking EPO and definitely noticed more pant snot! Wanted to jump OH last night, but he wanted to meditate first, as we'd had a difficult weekend and he wanted to 're-set' himself Hmm and by the time he got to bed, he wanted to sleep - we also had my youngest in the next room, so decided we'd make extra effort tonight! I just hope it's not too late.

I'm not sure if the Evening Primose Oil has made me more emotional? I've been terrible! Every little thing has me anxious or irritable, taking everything OH says the wrong way (hence the difficult weekend Blush or maybe I'm just getting a mardy cow in my old age!!

Anyway, how are we all today?

BamBam21 · 07/02/2011 14:25

Yay! Practically and Katee I'm so chuffed for you both! GrinWine

I feel like I've been away for ages. It's been a fraught time with DS, and then DP and I were really down over the weekend as we are totally skint. Feeling positive today though. A job will come along eventually!

PMSL at your entry to the thread Flowers! Actually, my jaw kinda hit the floor! Grin

Got2Dance · 07/02/2011 15:01

Crow and Bambam sorry to hear that you had stressed w/e. They can be the worst kind - after a week working, you're looking forward to the w/e and then you're out of sorts.
Hope things are improving.

I had the worst night sleep in ages last night - clomid hot sweats. Urgh...

crowette · 07/02/2011 15:41

Hi G2D ... yes, we definitely felt 'out of sorts'! All ok as we went to sleep and this morning though, so very much improved :)

I'm feeling terribly frisky, more so than I have for months ... OH won't know what's hit him as soon as he gets through the door - he'll get dragged through it Grin

I'm off for a bath in a bit to prettify myself and seduce him ;)

nickelbabe · 07/02/2011 16:43

:( G2D

our 6-month-iversary today, so we'll be practising making a baby JSing tongiht! Wink

BamBam21 · 07/02/2011 17:27

Hi G2D! We are okay thanks. It was just a bit awful when I went to the bank machine and saw how skint we actually are! Feeling more positive now though, and at least I can't afford to buy any more ciggies after tonight! Grin Hope you feel better soon. I didn't know Clomid caused hot flushes. Confused It must be pretty horrible.

Sure you'll both have lovely nights crow and nickel! Planning similar myself, but will have to wait til DS is in bed and DP has been fed!

Got2Dance · 07/02/2011 19:39

Ooo...yes...clomid sweats and insomnia for me. Only from about day 8 to day 16 ish. Which of course is my "window" too!

I'm glad that your skintness is preventing you buying ciggies Bambam. That is VERY bad to still be smoking. Stop at once Grin

Nickel - happy 6 month-iversary. I told DH which month we were on for ages. It's our 5 year wedding anniversary this month, so sticking to years now!! He has a surprise planned too....v excited.

Must dash, got my legs, bums, tums now.

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 07/02/2011 20:54

Yay Practically and Katee, I'm so pleased for you, and not very Envy, well... maybe a bit!

I'm just entering the two week wonder, so I'm going to pretend not to know when I can POAS 19th of Feb

What does Clomid actually do? [dunce hat emoticon] It sounds awful with hot sweats and insomnia, I hope its worth it G2D

Happy 6 monthiversary Nickel

Waves to everyone else, and offers [biscuits] and [tea]. Why isn't that a real emoticon? Much better than wine!

Got2Dance · 07/02/2011 21:27

Clomid is to make me ovulate. I have PCOS (poly-cystic ovary syndrome) and since coming off the pill Jan 10, I don't think I've ovulated. So DH and I are under a fertility consultant. I am taking clomid on days 2-6 of my cycle to make my body produce and release an egg, basically. Unfortunately DH has dodgy swimmers too, but at least if there's an egg, there's a chance of a sperm meeting it! We are on the 3rd cycle of 6. If nothing, then it's probably IVF. That's why I was interested in dee's IVF story.

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 07/02/2011 23:32

Thanks all for the lovely messages, made me feel all warm and fuzzy :).

Sorry to hear of the ERTD's :(. And happy anniversary Nickel!

It is such a great thread to be a part of but I can't help but hope that there's no one left at the end of it without BFP to start the next one :).
