The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

We don't normally have this many natural disasters on top of each other, is a fab place to be Foghorn .

I'm still not expecting ERTD until next week, but have engaged in some light-hearted symptom spotting to amuse myself with today - I was a bit crampy earlier in the week (implantation, you understand Wink), yesterday I battled nausea and dizzyness and today I've got the dizzyness with the runs (is there such a thing as TMI on this thread?). And a headache yesterday and today. So of course I'm pg... at least until the evil red witch comes and spoils my fun next week Grin.

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 04/02/2011 10:15

ooh, Practically - symptoms, we like symptoms.
Blush

that is against the rules though!!

Your symptoms sound exactly like my symptoms.
(apart from the runs - i didn't have the runs)

kateepie2 · 04/02/2011 10:29

Yep they sound familiar to me tooooooo Grin

Cheeser · 04/02/2011 10:33

hi everyone

Don't know if you remember me from the last thread. DP and I have decided to put TTC on the back seat for a while as we focus on moving, and me potentially changing jobs (a necessity, which is a shame as I really love my job Sad) and overall I don't have the mental energy to spend so much of my time obsessing about focusing on TTC...

Good luck to you all though, I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is a lucky thread for you all Wink Grin

Oh Cheeser - hope to see you back here soon.

This really is a mind fuck, isn't it? I know were not obsessing or anything, but still. Every fucking month.

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 04/02/2011 10:58

Ah, but see this is light-hearted symptom spotting Grin. So more a bending of the rules and I've taken with a pinch of salt... and there's not much else to do as DD is sleeping, plus DH is away with work and my shag cape is gathering dust in the corner. And on a Friday night

Cheeser · 04/02/2011 10:58

Yes, mind fuck is the right expression. EVERY month I'm thinking 'ooh this could be it' 'if we have sex tonight it's a definite' 'well we had sex at the right time so the ERTD definitely won't appear' 'oh look it's here oh well, next month'.

Plus DP is to-ing and fro-ing about whether now is the right time and to be honest I can't be bothered with it all just at the moment. I'm just going to try to put it to the back of my mind and if it happens, it happens. But then if I leave my job I'll have to wait ages before we're financially able to have a baby so will have to go back on the pill Angry. Anyway. Rant over. Good luck to you lovely viroids Smile

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 04/02/2011 10:59

oh, blimey, that's 2 drop-outs!
:(

sorry you're leaving too, cheeser .

kateepie2 · 04/02/2011 11:07

Hi cheeser long time no see! Hope the move and job change all go smoothly for you! Pop back and see us all won't you?

xx

kateepie2 · 04/02/2011 11:13

I just poas randomly, following a BFN this morning (working from home today, so absolutely no self control) left it in the bathroom for the requisite 5 mins and came back to find the faintest of faint lines... about 0.1 mm thick, but a line... woooop! Grin

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 04/02/2011 11:15

Ooh, exciting katee!! When were you due to test?

Still though - YAY!!

deemented · 04/02/2011 11:22

Ohhh.... 'citing!!!

When DH and i had the IVF that actually worked i tested positive 9 DPO. But then it was triplets Grin

And with dd i tested on about 10DPO. BFN. came back to it an hour or so later and there was a line there. And that line is now sat reading her Gruffalo book.

With ds3 i think i tested about 11DPO, and it came up BFP staight away.

Good luck, Kateepie

Beware of the dreaded evap line though foghorn! I thought the same, which is partly why I left it there - seeing all the dye stream straight to the test line always depresses me!

I keep looking at it just in case I dreamt it (won't come out on photo either)

Just hoping it lasts long enough to show dp when he gets home!

How am I ever going to get any work done now??? Grin

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 04/02/2011 11:36

blimey, katee that was quickj Grin

best not to POAS today - maybe try again with FMU tomorrow.
Grin

kateepie2 · 04/02/2011 11:40

kateepie2 · 04/02/2011 11:41
