  1. Lurking in baby names on a daily basis, desperate to post

  1. Checking the baby name statistics for both country and area

  1. Surfing Amazon to read reviews of pregnancy books- but not buying any

  1. Working out how pregnant I could be if I get pregnant this month at key events this year like weddings, holidays

5.Regularly checking the local nursery's website for information

Ah, was guilty of many, many of these while I was TTC. Have to add one for old times sake...

119 Working out the star sign of your baby if it is born on it's predicted EDD each cycle, and finding out which famous people he/she will share his/her birthday with.

I've done so many of these, also worked out how many weeks I'd be on our family holiday in May, and the chances that the morning sickness would be over by then (chances are good if BFP next week!). Walked past HPTs in Tesco several times today, pretending to study the lipbalms above them and too nervous to actually buy any (HPTs, not lipbalms!). Noting that pregnancy multivitamins are on offer until the 15th March. Checking out the sale items on maternity wear websites, wondering if our local garage would source a larger car to fit all three children in, googling the chances of my having twins as they run in the family and I'm in my 30s now....I could go on all day! Oh, and talking to the little bundle of cells which is apparently 0.2mm in size if the SWI was successful this month!

Jugglinjo

My third stop on my lunchhour shop was to superdrug "just to look" at p-sticks ... in the interests of science, I just wanted to compare sensitivities you see ...

When I got back to my desk, to my great surprise I saw that a clearblue digi had jumped into my bag?! Very sneaky things those preggy tests! Grin

But NO TESTING till 14 DPO. No. Absolutely NOT.

Hi Bumpsadaisie Grin

Let us know how long you keep it for, before giving it a trial !

I thought everyone rehearsed the speeches they plan to give to tell people they were pregnant :) I think I'll just get DS an "I'm a big brother" t-shirt and have him wear it to his grandparents.

#120 googling all subs and symptoms with pms and then pregnancy to see which is more likely!

Stalking pregnant friends / friends with babies on Facebook and getting really over excited when they post new pictures!

(Can people tell how often you are looking at their page?!) lol

Bumpsadaisie - so totally in the same corner as you. Test is sitting there preactically begging me to use it. Only 4 DPO at the moment so must wait. It is only 10 days. People go on holiday for longer than that! I can wait, I really can. Don't cave, or I will too!

I am on my 4th month of charting after a year of TTC at random (foolish woman!) and this thread is the most reasurring thing I have read in all that time. I am now free to fixate on whether my sore boobs are a) an early pregnancy sign b) mean I am about to come on or c) a cruel side effect of the agnus castus. Thanks so much :)

#121 actually taking apart a BFN test (or 10) to see if you hold the test paper up to the light there might be a slight pink line Blush
