Questionable TTC behaviour

  1. Lurking in baby names on a daily basis, desperate to post
  1. Checking the baby name statistics for both country and area
  1. Surfing Amazon to read reviews of pregnancy books- but not buying any
  1. Working out how pregnant I could be if I get pregnant this month at key events this year like weddings, holidays

5.Regularly checking the local nursery's website for information

6.staring at your chart on FF even though it doesnt change.

  1. having a standing order with Amazon for OPKs and HPTs

8.9.10 prodding boobs, standing up really quickly to see if you feel dizzy and only ever wearing white knickers.

  1. Obsessively calculating income on basis of going back to work full time, part time and not at all, after deducting childcare, travel (etc) costs.

  2. Experiencing imaginary morning sickness two days after ovulation.

  3. Making birth plans in head (and sometimes on paper Blush).

Know just what you mean about working out how pregnant you would be at key events, Folicacid - have already wondered whether should accept a few hen-do invitations for later this year in case am pregnant and likely to be tired and sick Blush (although have retained sanity so far and not turned any down on this basis...)

Loveinacoldclimate it is a form of madness isn't it? I have also committed the crime of 11 too.

  1. Checking out several 'due date calendars' on-line, to see if they really all do give you the same date. For the baby who is not so much a glint in your eye as a star in your head! And looking at the detailed info about what might be happening this week. 'The first two weeks of pregnancy, you are not even pregnant.' I knew it - I'm not pregnant but the calendar ssays I shouldn't be yet, so it's ok - I'm on the pregnancy calendar - yay!!
  2. Staring at preg tests in Tescos, wondering how much you would be tempting fate by buying one.

So agree with loads of these - esp the how pregnant could I be at this time or that time. And working out the pay/maternity pay, etc.

oh yes - plans for the nursery for sure!! Have already veto'd a double bed for the spare room, as I want it only as a nursery. Sorry any visiting folks, can't you tell it's the baby-that-doesn't-exist-yet's room?!

I can totally identify with staring at your FF chart - even though it doesnt change - for ages, almost willing it to suddenly show a pregnancy lol.

And the planning for events thing.

27ish - "accidentally" straying into the baby bit of The White Company on lunchbreaks and having to fight with self not to buy adorable babygros "just in case" (just in case what, the charts are lying and I am in fact 38 weeks pregnant and just haven't noticed?).
