Hello,

So, I've been TTC on and off for TWO BLOODY YEARS!!!!! And am going to the doctors next week. However, I am the eternal optimist and will be SWI like the best of them for the next few weeks before I start symptom spotting again. Grin

Come and join me and lets see who gets lucky this month!

(But pretty please let me be one. I mean, I am starting the thread, those are the rules aren't they?

Sorry to hear about AF Ghost. Here's hoping that March will be your month then. x

dollysgirl · 18/02/2011 17:00

hi all!!thanks for the advice ghost, ive still no af,but if me and you are truly synchronised (lol) i will expect it anytime,it feels imminent,i just want it to come now then i can start afresh!
this is my longest EVER cycle too grrr,so annoying,i havnt tested again and wont until (if im strong enough!!) monday...i didnt use FMU yest either as i didnt plan to test, could that have made that much difference from a +ve to a -ve ?? if i do get af it means my cycle could b anything from 22-29+ days which im gonna find very hard work :-S

MrsAlanKey · 18/02/2011 17:11

I was planning to test today (AF due today) but I have been spotting and cramping since Monday for some reason Confused. I thought it would start properly today but it hasn't. If I had a stash of ebay tests I probably would have used one but I only have a high priced one left and I'm too tight to use it when I have been spotting.

krumbockmummy · 18/02/2011 20:43

new to thread!

have been putting off testing since wed, as i hate looking at -ve tests. 1st baby was on the pill??Hmm? 2nd baby 2 years of TTC and 5 cycles of clomid, have been TTC for a yr now. Going to do a test sat morning!

dannid · 18/02/2011 21:05

Hello everyone! Im new too! Grin

TTC our 2nd...similar to krumbockmummy our first was conceived while on the pill...this time its not proving to be so easy...came off pill in sept...this is my first cycle using OV tests. AF is due mon and have already done 3 tests...all with -ve results...hoping that its just too early?!

Have started having cramps today though so despite feeling sick all day think its probably not our month :( Trying to now resist doing any more tests until AF is actually late!

LoveInAColdClimate · 19/02/2011 09:28

BFN this morning but knew it would be, really. Just want AF to start now, feel really bloated and PMT-ish. Oh well, looking forward to next month's thread!

dollysgirl · 19/02/2011 11:00

sorry LIACC,but like u say just look forward not back hey!! not long till plenty of swi coming ur way!!
ive still no af,im day 30 of a cycle that is always around 25/2 days, but havnt tested sinve thurs and im not planning on till tues, feel af symptoms on and off so im not hopeful, plus not much swi this mth (3times to b exact)..im like you i just want it to start then i can begin again...good luck to all xx

dollysgirl · 19/02/2011 11:01

Hope you don't mind if I just clear my head here ladies. Don't mean to bring down the tone of the thread.

AF finally arrived at about 7am today - I don't think I have ever been so pleased to be back on day 1! I've done loads of tests this cycle (40 flipping days and that's on Clomid!) and every BFN has just made me more miserable and feeling in limbo so was actually relieved and happy when AF made an appearance.

Not sure whether to SWI this cycle or not, as once I finish the Clomid, that's it. I sort of feel like I need a break but that may just be because I get too obsessed about ttc. Sad Had a long chat with DH and still didn't come to any conclusions. Maybe I should just use up all my Clomid then at least within about 6 months I will be able to say it's not meant to be and give away the baby things in the loft as it's painful to see them every time I go up there (quite often as our loft is a computer/craft room). Argh, sometimes I wish I had a crystal ball to know one way or the other whether I'd have any more children. I could handle knowing this was my lot, but the limbo-state and my inability to move on with enjoying this phase of my childrens' lives is really taking its toll.

Sorry for my completely self-indulgent post. Nobody IRL understands. Going to sit down with a big Brew (hot chocolate in my case Grin)

MrsHende · 20/02/2011 08:47

twolittlemonkeys if you can't have a self indulgent rant here then there would be no place to go! Post away! I know what you mean about the limbo. Every month you try not to think further ahead than the next couple of weeks but you can't help with the 'what if?' and 'if I was, then...' thoughts. It's torturous. :( Make sure you put a big dollop of whipped cream on that hot chocolate Brew !

Congratulations on all the BFPs on the thread and so sorry about the BFNs.

I was away for the weekend and started spotting on Thursday. Was gutted, told DH, he was gutted.

However, the spotting came to nothing so when we got home last night I POAS and got a BFP! This is our 11th cycle and last week we got the letter from the assisted conception clinic to say that we were on the six month waiting list so shocked is an understatement! Shock

Wish us luck! Grin And lots and lots of luck to all of you, whether you got a BFP or BFN.

LoveInAColdClimate · 20/02/2011 09:10

Congratulations MrsHende! Very pleased for you Smile.

twolittlemonkeys · 20/02/2011 20:00

Congratulations MrsHende - fab news!

KatyCustard · 21/02/2011 15:28

Great news MrsHende , congratulations!

Well, that's it for me this month. Again.
Going to the doctor with DH on Monday.

Congratulations to all those with a BFP! Grin

See you on the next "testing around" thread everyone else!

hi all!!congrats MRS HENDE!! fabulous and encouraging!!
Got my blood results today from my day 2/day21 tests, and all is normal, but slightly high progesterone...i was at work and could only talk to the doctor on the phone infront of my team...so i couldnt ask what i wanted...and now she off work for over a week :-(...she said this may explain my irregular cycles but otherwise is good news but i need referring to the clinic now cos ive been trying 12 mths, and she has no answers, which is ok im fine with that stepping stone...the thing is !! i went to her originally suspecting i wasnt ovulating, and couldnt ask her straight out today due to being at work, but does the test result all being normal mean i ovulted ??i was hoping that she would be able to determine what day I ov'd from these tests :-s ,and what does high progesterone mean although she did say marginally, level of 2 i think, and normal is 1.8 ...so confused, sorry its so long....congrats to all BFP's,and fx for all due to test, babies for xmas all round pls mum nature !!!
