Donne thy robes and come join the hagges round a crackling fire made of ye olde pee sticks, as we run around nekkid, high on snorted baybeedust, and do our straynge erotick rituals on the altar of ye inconstant moon.

Come one, come all as we cast spelles and do any Magick we can finde on our queste for an elusive win.

Bring thy gynne for yon cauldron and help thyself to a laddle, as we prepare the incantationnes...

Thanks all for your besh stylee suppotiveness.

Luffs yer.

The little bleeping fecker arrived as soon as I got back from the zoo with Boo. On the upside we had a lovely day.

Am dissapointed, how mean is 6 days late FFS. Botty you do indeed speaketh wisdom of the droid.

truffs something from the couldron ma'am?

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 18:34

Lilacs That is mean as fuck of the droid. I was starting to get excited. WTF is all that about?

My Dad's wife has just written a status update going on about how much she loves all of her grandchildren, and mentioning them all by name. My son isn't mentioned. That woman has the subtlety of a brick and the mentality of an 11 year old. Idiot.

LaraMi · 13/02/2011 18:39

Afternoon Beshes...

6 days late is unacceptable Lilacs - on the upside, (unlike me), at least you can chart your cycle - mine just comes whenever / if ever the hell it wants...

Just had the most relaxing weekend - which also coincided with a decision to not talk to my mother for some time to come (after a blazing row). Funny how that works, eh?

Metformin making me feel pukey today.. What's the bloody point? No ovulation, AF or BFP in sight.... Even tho the problem is clearly me, have made Mr LaraMi start taking zinc. With his daily dose of iron tablets too, before long he's going to start sticking to the fridge door :-)

LaraMi · 13/02/2011 18:42

Boo - just saw your post - truly mean... Why on earth would she be so mean to an 11yo? I have a wicked stepmother too - about to be engaged in a messy court battle as she tries to contest my dad's will and take everything left to everyone apart from her and her two kids for herself... Nice..

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 18:58

He's 3 Lara, I meant she has the mentality of an 11 year old with her silly playground games. I am so sorry about the contesting of your Dad's will, I expect the same will happen to me, as my Dad is ten years older than she is, and she dislikes me an awful lot and has done since I was 5. How horrible for you when you are grieving your Dad too :(

fishandlilacs · 13/02/2011 19:13

Oh Boo, thats frickin awful-what is she playing at. Have you said anything back to sugegst she may have forgotten someone?

Laralaralaughs Gawd I cannot imagine how frustrasting that must be. Mine doesn't usually devaite.

Anyhoo

signing off now as MRfish has cooked me a beatiful valentine meal. About to sit down to Moules followed by something else.

LaraMi · 13/02/2011 19:27

Boo - my fault for speed-reading... oops - if your little one is three, that is even worse...

Signing off too now - about to sit down for chicken etc. Enjoy Valentines meal, MrsFish - we have dedided to mark Valentines with a huge kebab tomorrow - screw low GI diet!

rocketleaf · 13/02/2011 19:37

boo that is shocking but at least miniboo is too young to understand any of it right now. Still very upsetting for you and doesn't bode well for the future.

lara that sounds awful, greedy caaaah. Horrible thing to have to deal with when you are grieving :(

We don't normally 'do' valentines day but are going to see True Grit tomorrow, very romantic film choice no?

InTheSunshine · 13/02/2011 20:13

Hello BESHers. Boo & Lara sorry for shitty family things. Horrid to have to deal with.

Truffs hope you're feeling better now?

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 20:51

Hooray for fun Sunny!

starnosemole · 13/02/2011 21:17

Hello hags, I'm feeling very about being crap lately vis a vis droid smashinging and illness sympathy etc. Can I just do a blanket Uzi 9 mm bullet spray accompanied by several grenades, follwed by mass orgy around the cauldron to cover all bases?

Fun is definitely good.

We have built a raised bed this weekend in which to sow and propagate seedlings into food stuffs Is it wrong that I may be more excited about this than anything for a long while. (Not least because we said we'd do it, and we actually have, unlike most plans round here Hmm)

Mitchell is looking particularly beautiful tonight Grin

LaraMi · 13/02/2011 21:23

Hear hear - love weekend fun - takes mind off stressy stuff like trying and failing to babymake..

Question for you Beshers - should I get rid of my car or shouldn't I?

I only learnt to drive last summer... Bought myself a little Clio as incentive to pass test sooner (which worked!) However, am terrified of insane south London drivers / traffic so actually barely use it. (I do everything not to...) Plus Mr Lara is trading in his manual for an automatic (company car BTW - will be able to drive new one as I'm only qualified for automatic driving).

Wondering therefore if I should sell my car... Financially makes sense (don't necessarily need the £ right now but better to be sitting in my account than depreciating in the street outside). However, selling the car feels like I am admitting defeat. Yes, I could drive his new car and he says it'll be "ours" not "his". In inner London there's no need to have two cars. But a part of me feels like I'd be giving up potential independence if I sold it...! Plus there's the thought that one day I hope we will have a baby (original reason for learning in the first place) and I'd obviously then have more reasons to drive (to other mums' houses, docs etc and will be off work whereas now I jump on the train to central London every day).

We are well connected - lots of facilities within a five to ten minute walk plus excellent transport links (altho I swore I'd never be one of those mums that struggles to get a buggy onto a bus / tube etc). We do have to watch what we spend and budget carefully but I am worried that it's more about the principle...

Beshers - what do you think? I'd love to hear the opinion of other evil witches lovely ladies (!) Honest opinions most welcomed!

Truffkin · 13/02/2011 22:18

Lara based on what you have said, I'd be getting rid of the car. TGB passed his test a couple of years ago but hasn't driven since we moved to London. I have a Co. car but we don't really use it much and TBH we'll probably get rid when the lease is up in October. If you can drive the other car then why maintain a second? It could be a nice contribution to the baby fund!

I've watched Being Human tonight and had forgotten how much I fancy Mitchell enjoy it. I watched the first series but then lost track. Am now back on board. It has been a nice highlight during a day when I have mostly felt shit from the hangover/droid double whammy. Also, droid arriving early means another 27 day cycle although as my LP is consistently 11 days I think that's ok. Bloody valentines droid is a bit of a piss take and I also had Christmas droid so maybe it's targetting significant dates. Oh yes, looks like I'll be celebrating St Pat's with the beeping little fucker next month.

Now, where's my droid buddy? Riiiiiieeeeee

Truffkin · 13/02/2011 22:20

P.S meant to sympathise with Boo re: evil step mother, you need to get some woo going on and caste a spelle upon thee evil hagge.

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 22:26

She probably knows a better spell - she's a full on Minerva Truffs. Don't get me started about the way she has treated me since my wedding Angry

Am having a full on lesbo moment with Tilda Swinton on the BAFTAs a ce moment, and have renewed my crush on Helana B-C 'cos she is a treasure.

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 22:27

Has anyone seen 'The kids are all right'? I have a thing for Mark Ruffalo.

Ariesgirl · 13/02/2011 22:34

Am here Trumps. Still only a Hint of a Tint here (remember the Paint Chart? Number 3 I believe). TMI coming up It's kind of brown and blobby. Also still have sore boobs. Am taunting droid by wearing white pants and gobbling EPO in an effort to reduce boob soreness and am also snacking on Agnus Castus. You know what? I DON"T CARE.

Lara sell the damn car. You don't need it and they cost a lot of money. We have recently gone from 2 cars to 1 and I don't miss it at all. I'm doing a lot of walking and cycling.

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 22:46

Is brown and blobby usual for you Rie? Dod droid arrive bang on correct day? I would apologize for fuelling menkul but I believe you are DHB zen this month, so I will menkul on your behalf :o

I also concur with les autres Lara regarding the car situation. Get rid of it if you're not using it.

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 22:47

*Did

Ariesgirl · 13/02/2011 22:51

Yes I'm afraid brown and blobby is normal. Usually have dribbles of pink, then nothing, then brown blobs and I reckon tomorrow or the day after will be full gush. Which makes it a round average 28 days. So that's nice.

I'm quite envious of these women whose droids just start instead of taunting them mercilessly month after month.

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 23:00

Ah bollocks Rama :(

I am Envy of cycle sisterz. I am a lone wierdo on a 25 cycle with a 3 day droid. Pah. And I am going to do the sechs when I (and MrB of course) damn will please this month. I am not temping, I am not peeing on the ov stix, and I am not going to gusset watch neither .

I think with the whole job stress thing coming to a head I just don't need the menkul. That's not to say that an ironidiff wouldn't be welcomed so I'm not going off radar or ought. Anyway I'd miss you all too much. Who else would put up with me rambling on? :o

HighPriestessBoo · 13/02/2011 23:01

I'm also a liar - droid is 4 days, not 3.

AlpinePony · 14/02/2011 08:28

Aries Bastard. Punch him. (Droid I mean, not Mr. A- although he frequently deserves it of course!)

I could happily do my commute sans car but getting to the horse would be problematic. But I don't think you need two cars.

A girl I went to uni with called her kid Rhino. I always thought she was a cunt.

owlbooty · 14/02/2011 10:14

Rhino is fucking dreadful.

The two car thing is tricky - I live in a city that is not very car friendly and has relatively good public transport. For the first 2 years here I didn't drive my car at all except for journeys outside the city & caught the buses or walked the rest of the time. However I'm glad I didn't sell the car now as when I moved in with Mr Boots it transpired there were no fecking buses that went from his house to my work. I think in London you could maybe get rid of it but be prepared to get the odd cab as you need to and not feel guilty about the cost?

Moley I planted broad beans, rocket and radishes at the weekend and feel very chipper about the beginning of the gardening year - it always cheers me up.

Ariesgirl · 14/02/2011 10:34

And Lara, if you sell the car now while you don't need it, you could always get yourself a little runaround if you do find you need it in the future.

We sold our Land Rover at the end of November, intending to just drive my little car. The very next day the fucker (mine) blew up and we were left with no cars Angry
