Hi,

I had Implanon removed end of November, have had one period since and am currently on day 16. TTC #2. Used some OPKs over the weekend which were positive on Sunday and Monday morning so assuming I ovulated Sun or Mon perhaps tho this was my first time using them properly.

Anyone else due to test around the same time who wants to share (possibly non-existent!) symptoms? :)

grrr...'symptoms' seem to have wandered off somewhere this morning...don't feel bloated or extremely hungry anymore though still have small fluttery feeling and occassional cramp. Up side is my clothes seem to fit ok again at the mo...downside is I was content with the bloatedness if it meant something! Have just had to buy a new bra though in next size up...so I'm either getting fat all of a sudden or maybe they're getting bigger for a different reason...here's hoping!Wink

D'oh! Also just realised I've got my Cycle Length wrong so not due for AF until 22nd rather than 20th so another 2 days to wait! Sad Not sure I could put myself and DH through testing, getting a BFN and then wondering whether I should've waited a few more days so will just have to not go mad be patient until 22nd!

FluffyDonkey · 14/01/2011 14:04

BC - I feel your pain. Why on earth does time go so slowly?!

lalabaloo · 14/01/2011 14:23

I'm wondering if possibly my feeling hungry all the time is due to all the extra energy used by googling baby things! I really wish it was possible to stop obsessing about everything but I can't! All I can think of is when is the right time to SWI (really not sure as I've only had one period since I came of implanon) and what we will need, and when I can buy stuff and how I want to decorate the nursery etc! Completely bonkers I know, but I can't be the only one can i? Just out of interest, have any of you told anyone you are TTC? And will you tell anyone when you get your BFP?

BlueCrane · 14/01/2011 14:34

lalabaloo we haven't told anyone we're TTC - other than here! We've also decided to keep it to ourselves (other than one friend each!) til 12 week scan if we get our BFP...though think that's going to be a tough 12 weeks too! Smile

Have told myself not to think about buying things or redecorating til we get to 12 weeks either, just not sure I could cope with having it all planned out and something going wrong!

arabella36 · 14/01/2011 14:40

Hi all!

I have 7-8days before period is due. I'm not so convinced by my "symptoms" now. I don't think they're as noticeable. Still feel bloated (wouldn't feel part of the group if I didn'tWink!), and tired but no more nausea or cramps now. In summary, I not so suspicious today that I am pregnant, compared to the last 2days.

I'm 4-5 DPO now.

I'm going to enjoy nice food and wine this weekendSmile

Welcome to the new Obsessors[wave]

arabella36 · 14/01/2011 14:44

Hi lalabaloo I'm not telling anyone about TTC starting this month as I don't want to feel I'm under observation ifvyou see what I mean, I'd find that stressful whereas now I'm quite chilled out and enjoying it.

Some people close to me know Ill probably be trying this year but I've deliberately kept it vague.

arabella36 · 14/01/2011 14:48

blue crane I admire your resolution on the testing front -you're made of sterner stuff than I!

BlueCrane · 14/01/2011 14:52

arabella your slow down of symptoms is similar to mine. Not sure how many DPO I am as wasn't aware of the signs to look out for at the time! Enjoy your food and wine this weekend! I'm trying to relax about it all bit more today with symptoms being less obvious but not so easy!

arabella36 · 14/01/2011 14:58

I know what you mean bluecrane, it's too exciting a prospect to not think about it! When I'm not busy my thoughts drift back to wondering about it

muffins · 14/01/2011 16:22

Afternoon ladies :)

I'm not feeling at all good today, got a monster of a headache and nausea but think the nausea may be due to the headache.
Plus I didn't sleep too well last night had a load of nightmares-one of which was a bit like a SAW film Shock

Hope everyone has a good weekend, I've not got much planned....probably mooch around at home looking out for possible implantation pains Grin

Hi lalabaloo and arabella! We're not telling anyone we're TTC either. Like arabella I don't want to feel under obs especially as most of my friends and siblings are popping babies out left, right and centre Envy

arabella36 · 14/01/2011 19:08

Evening skippy and muffins [waves]

muffins - am envious of your symptomatologyEnvyWink

lalabaloo · 14/01/2011 19:42

Oh no I've told my mum, my (very supportive) boss, my sister and her boyfriend! Maybe I shouldn't have! I will try not to tell anyone at work before 12 weeks though. I was a bit worried about people wanting to know if I was pregnant every month which is why I only told the above people, but I also want to tell two close friends and DH wants to tell his dad and stepmum so at this rate everyone will know! I must be mad!

VintageNancy · 14/01/2011 19:48

I have mucho bad stomach ache and bloating to go with unpleasant nausea imaginary symptom.

If I'm not preggo I must be ill!

I've told a work friend about TTC but no family or close friends - it was good to tell someone who wouldn't go over the top with reacting to it IYSWIM!

skippyjroo · 14/01/2011 20:58

Poor you for feeling rubbish VintageNancy! Sounds promising though Smile

VintageNancy · 14/01/2011 21:07

Fingers crossed skippy :) I'm so tempted to test but promised myself I won't until after 21st.

skippyjroo · 14/01/2011 21:17

Try to resist VintageNancy Grin

VintageNancy · 15/01/2011 10:18

I have a new imaginary symptom: the tea my husband made me this morning tasted horrible. Could've been the milk I suppose... :)

How's everyone today? I'm trying to summon the enthusiasm to get dressed and go out!

toytown · 15/01/2011 11:12

Hello
Can I join. I'm due around 16th Jan but only get period once every 3 months so it's far from exact science with me. I'm trying to hold off testing till end of Jan.
My [inaginary] symptoms have included:
A horrid cold
Feeling very sick
Tired
Cramping, sharp pains around ovaries
A need to eat aubergine
Grin
Fingers crossed for all.

BlueCrane · 15/01/2011 11:20

hello all...plodding along this morning and trying hard not to think about it all...though clearly failing as I'm on here! The ever vanishing symptoms seem to be continuing to vanish! Extreme hunger seems to have turned into severe lack of appetite, though tum still upset every morning and dashing to the loo before breakfast [sorry TMI but I normally need breakfast to kick my metabolism into gear!]. Just need to wait and see I suppose! Smile

Have totally stressed DH out about it all though which has not been a good thing! Think he's a bit nervous about the whole thing and aware of the huge change it will be to our lives if I do get BFP next week...and then the getting through the next 9 months...and then the super huge change to life as we know it! Grin All good stuff but a little daunting IYKWIM. I def have more respect for all my friends who've been through all of this over the last couple of years!

BlueCrane · 15/01/2011 11:21

PS vintagenancy hope you feel a bit better and manage to have an ok day despite feeling so grim. When is AF due? How long before you can test?

iloveblue · 15/01/2011 11:42

Hello

Can I join you?

We are currently TTC after a 20 week loss in October.

This is our 2nd cycle of TTC although last months effort was a bit half-hearted tbh.

We have two DS's already (aged 4 and 6), and have had no problems conceiving in the past, always conceived within two cycles.

I have absolutely no idea if/when I ovulated - have been trying to track changes in cervix after finding this site but I got frustrated and gave up!

We have had sex every other day since AF finished so we'll see......

I have not symptoms whatsoever although didn't at this stage with previous pregnancies.

AF due on 25th Jan. Got fingers crossed for everyone Smile

iloveblue · 15/01/2011 11:43

Vntagenancy - I always go off the taste of tea during pregnancy so could be a good sign!

toytown · 15/01/2011 16:24

Would just like to add strange taste in mouth to my list of symptoms spotting.
TTC2 UCL 90 ish days.
