Hi,

I had Implanon removed end of November, have had one period since and am currently on day 16. TTC #2. Used some OPKs over the weekend which were positive on Sunday and Monday morning so assuming I ovulated Sun or Mon perhaps tho this was my first time using them properly.

Anyone else due to test around the same time who wants to share (possibly non-existent!) symptoms? :)

lalabaloo not sure wat the plan of action will be but itll either be asprin or heparin injections, i will have regular bloods, scans and perhaps another c-sec (as i had an emergency one last time as i couldnt dilate after 3 days of established contractions)

gosh im not making this sound good for anyone am i lol sorry Hmm Confused

im debating whether to go to fam plan clinic - im sick of waiting til next week. i want answers its soooooo frustrating and worrying

what makes it worse if dh is so laid back over it all he just keeps telling me to wait til next week to see gp Sad

xx

BlueCrane · 27/01/2011 19:19

thanks secretly...one bar of galaxy down!!

From a friends experience sounds as though they'll probably suggest a c-sec to avoid risk of what happenned last time and mean they can control it all a bit more. What a pain in the waiting though! Would you get the results quicker at the family planning clinic?

Snakeears · 27/01/2011 19:27

Congrats fluffy Donkey x

secretlywishing · 27/01/2011 19:31

i dont know...i just feel wrong sitting n waiting

and im probably being harsh on dh, he knows how upset n frustrated i get when i get negatives or delays....suppose hes tryng to protect

by the way how big was the bar of galaxy if it wsnt family sze ill be sending u back to the shop for more lol

i once read on a forum with my ist pg

"if at first u dont conceive, try try and try again"

and i suppose another month of good dtd cant harm Wink ditch the chart, dont stress (easier said than done i know) and just go for it for a while :) i hope it doesnt take long

who knows perhaps af will arrive for me also, and well be back here in a mnth or two xx

BlueCrane · 27/01/2011 20:47

secretly DH was feeling up to a walk to the shop but only brought a small bar Smile but to be honest the cramps have made me feel a bit sick so not sure I could've managed a family sized one!

In a sense another month of TTC and DTD isn't too bad providing I stay chilled Wink! It's another month to save with 2 full salaries as well! Grin

Really hope you get some answers soon - you're doing remarkably well waiting so long!! If you can manage to hold out for the docs then at least it keeps consistent with who you're seeing. Not easy though!

secretlywishing · 27/01/2011 20:54

:) positivity is best hun, always.

trust me its been a very long two weeks, but stressing wondering panicking isnt going to make things better....itll only make it worse

as u can probably tell im in happy mood, and not paranoid n weepy mood as shown earlier

serioisly i hpe r ok hun
xx

BlueCrane · 27/01/2011 20:57

Thanks secretly I've perked up as the afternoon has gone on...even though cramps have gotten worse Grin but hey ho..on we go! Thanks for all the encouraging words and you take care!!

KatyCustard · 27/01/2011 22:16

BlueCrane I'm so sorry for your disappointment, I've been there with late AFs and beeing lured in to a false sense of excitment!

Have some chocolate brownies!

Congrats to all the BFPs there have been quite a few on this thread! Smile Smile Smile

KatyCustard · 27/01/2011 22:18

sorry, the above post should have said to secretly as well!

secretlywishing · 28/01/2011 08:57

Well day 14 is here still no sign of af but I am determined not to poas. I've already been in tears and I've actually been sick this morning. not sure if its pg or if its frustration n stress over all of this. Hope everyone is feeling ok x

ModelMom · 28/01/2011 09:13

awwe babe you need to relax i know its easer said than done but i keep thinking if shes gonna come shes gonna come but if i keep thinkin about it it will just delay her more :(

its soo damn annoyin sending over all my hugs xxxx

BlueCrane · 28/01/2011 09:31

secretly the wait is just awful...try some of Katy's virtual chocolate brownies and try...if you can...to stay calm. Have you got much on today? Is there anything you can be doing to try and distract you from all of this and help with the wait? How old is your DC1? Thinking of you and sending a big hug over to you as well!!

secretlywishing · 28/01/2011 09:54

Need your experienced advice please girlies! Started another thread on early testing. Searching (still) for hope- although the generous girls who replied seem to think it could go either way, and are wishing me the best! My period is due on Monday, but as it's my birthday today - did a preg test with FMU: negative. Anyone had a negative turn positive as it's too early? Or should it have shown up on the early superdrug test by now? I know deep down it's a waiting game. But mn has turned me into a nutter! Please God let there be someone who had a neg 3 days before AF which turned positive....

localcrackpot · 28/01/2011 12:09

AF is now a measly 3 days late. Dr has diagnosed kidney infection and I am having serious antibiotics to beat it down. Suspect I also have walking pneumonia - been working up to this drop for ages. This is the first time I have been able to walk downstairs without falling in days... everything tastes weird and kind of grim, am only eating watery fruit, with some potato once a day as everything makes me sick.
So no idea if i'm upduffed or not, or even if I want to be considering the extent of current illness and possible effects on unborn child.
Bah. Sorry, just a bit of a whinge Sad

localcrackpot · 28/01/2011 15:25

Another question answered- not preggers. Good luck to all for next time xx

secretlywishing · 28/01/2011 17:11

wishinandahopin - it is possible. you are more likely to get a true reading closer to af due date as it relies on hcg and it takes time to produce hcg. some women dont get +ves til much later. i have been to see dr about my missing af....she said she disregards negatives under 6 weeks and if u have signs n symptoms. wait til due date n test again

local - does that mean af has arrived?? if so im really sorry hun Sad

Wishinandahopin · 28/01/2011 17:29

Secretlywishing: thanks so very much for giving me hope. No symptoms either way at the moment: which is frustrating in itself! x

secretlywishing · 28/01/2011 17:46

well thats not unusual either hun so dont worry. try and relax....lol i should listen to my own advice occassionally :) happy birthday by the way xx

Wishinandahopin · 28/01/2011 17:51

Thanx x

Unicornlover · 28/01/2011 23:02

Went to GP. She says that she isn't allowed to send me for blood test till AF is a week late at least. It's due tomorrow so she's told me to POAS on sun and take a photo of the result to show her next week.

ModelMom · 28/01/2011 23:41

Unicorn is that to test for pregnancy?x

Unicornlover · 29/01/2011 00:09

yes. Been getting LFP for week or so and GP won't refer me on that so asked for bloods but GP says she won't do it for another week. When I was pregnant with DS the only way I got referred was after confirmation from bloods as HPTs don't tend to work very well with my body but that was 6 yrs ago at a different GP

secretlywishing · 29/01/2011 00:52

Well girls I've been admitted to hospital. I'll update when I get home xx
