The Three Follicles is officially open for business!

Just to make sure we all become members of 'The Christmas Club' I've put something in the wine.... Wink

Flick I had, of course, had that thought, along with a whole host of others, I just refuse to get caught up in it this month Grin sorry your progesterone is making you feel crappy.

Garden So sorry about ERTD. Enjoy the mulled wine!

Womanly Glad to hear you're feeling a bit more upbeat, hope yoga is fun Grin

Truff Have a good weekend, the others have given you all the good advice I can think of :)

Not much to report from me, massive spots on my chin, irritable in the extreme and slightly tender boobs, but I noticed that after OH stood and poked me for a while when I got home from work (your guess is a good as mine, think school is driving him mad atm) No more spoting though so looks like ERTD plans to ambush me this weekend righ before I go away for a friend's birthday. Lovely.

CrazyAlien · 22/11/2010 18:43

hey,

FLick I shall be sitting on my butt after Christmas and relaxing lol. There are not many jobs around and this one had stressed me out so much I need to get back to normal! Will volunteer in other schools to keep myself in the loop and free from complete boredom!

thank you all for the welcome backs :0)

I am rather liking my new name as sums me up hahaha

Had one hell of a day where another teacher had me in tears as Ihadn't done something , but I didnt know I was supposed to and another so called 'friendly' teacher did say that they were going to go through it with me but then it turns out that they just did all their own stuff . I got spoken to like rubbish again and told I should have chased it, I was like er when exactly as I have no spare time and the real reason is because I can't cope with being spoken to like I a piece of rubbish on their shoe!

My day got better though as hubby is off for two days so got to come home and see him :0) had the biggest, best hug ever when I got through the day :0)

I am now just keeping myself to myself for the next few weeks until I am outta there!!

Hope you are all well :)

xx

CaveMum · 22/11/2010 18:46

Truff if it helps to relieve some of the stress, you could try the old Frolickers trick of peeing on a used stick in advance of your weekend!

ToriaPumpkinHead · 22/11/2010 21:07

Alien That sounds rougher than a rough thing. Schools can be like that I find, one of the reasons teaching didn't pan out for me, I'd rather deal with wanky customers and bitchy chav queens than beaurocracy in schools any day!

Truff I second Cavey's rec. At least it'll get it out of your system!

Truffkin · 22/11/2010 23:26

Ha ha girls, anyone got a used pee stick they can send my way? As I've not tested since last month there are none lying around! I think I can be patient enough to wait until Monday if I need to but if it proves too big a challenge I could pee on my BBT thermometer as it looks remarkably similar to the Boots own brand tests I favour Grin

Hope you took it easy yesterday garden and looked after yourself a lot a bit. One of womanly's sundaes sound amazing! MMMM. I can't believe how good you were in the last week of your 2WW by the way- I don't know if I ever commended you on it! I am going slowly mad at the minute. I am 9DPO today (I think, if I ovulated on the Sunday- HCG shot was on Friday at 6pm) and I have aHCG blood test booked for next Monday. I don't know if I can wait that long, or even if I should bother with the blood test at all? What are your thoughts? That is of course if ERTD doesn't turn up in the meantime.

truff I do think waiting until Monday is the best idea, but I know in reality that I would spend my weekend away running to the loo every 5 minutes to see if ERTD had started and would be so preoccupied with wondering if ERTD had started that I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself and have a nice time over the weekend away. I would probably test on Friday and if it was a BFN I would indulge myself over the weekend to cheer myself up and if it was a BFP I would concoct an elaborate plan which would hide my not drinking. I think that people get suspicious when you refuse drinks or order soft drinks. What I plan to do should the time ever come is to accept alcoholic drinks and then somehow dispose of them! Whether that means putting my drink next to Mr.F's and him drinking from both with me occasionally pretending to take sips and holding the glass up to my mouth or me going to talk to other people, leaving my drink somewhere, spilling it on the floor, etc, etc! If you can wait until Monday you should, I just know that I couldn't so thought I'd give you an alternative viewpoint :)

alien sorry you had such a horrid day :( School is not a nice place to be when you feel upset either, especially when you are upset because of people there!

toria you are being so good! CD29 today- is your ERTD usually very regular? I see your UCL is 30 which is tomorrow! Are you tempted to test at all? Very impressed with your restraint!

womanly glad you are feeling more relaxed. The yoga sounds fun! I really want to do a high tea too :) Did you get given more Clomid for this cycle or is your next course of action being decided after you see the consultant in December?

No news from me, I am having a really bad day. No reason for my bad day, I'm just feeling really grumpy, tired and irritable(more side effects of the progesterone I'm sure) and just don't want to speak to anyone or be at work. I just need to take myself home asap, indulge in some Gossip Girl and cook a yummy shepherds pie for tea.

Hope you're all have nice Tuesday's planned with no nasty work colleagues or annoying jobs to do xx

MissFlick · 23/11/2010 08:29

Just me again, am happily home now and about to embark on making dinner but I just wanted to let you know what I just did [Truff look away now emoticon!]

I just POAS, yes I know that this is stupidly early at 9DPO but I was just doing a little experiment you see. I wanted to see if the HCG shot that I had 11 days ago had left my system (it had). I was actually hoping for a BFN so I wouldn't have to wonder if it was a false positive. This little experiment also served two other purposes 1- it satisfied my POAS urge so I should now be able to wait for my blood test on Monday and 2- it got rid of the last remaining test that I had so I am test free and will NOT be buying anymore :)

Crazy rant over :)

OP posts:
TigerseyeMum · 23/11/2010 08:41

Alien so sorry you have had a bad experience in school, I left teaching because of the bullying and power-tripping by the other teachers. Some were lovely but sadly the lovely ones sat by and did nothing when the nasty ones bullied. I know many people in my line of work now (mental health) who have had similar experiences.

I am in stupid I-want-to-POAS mode again as my FERTD was due in the last 2 days bt hasn't turned up yet. But again, I have period pains etc starting.

As we only managed to SWI once this month it would be a veritable miracle!!!!

I bet me waiting for it to happen is delaying it Hmm

I go try to catch up.

TigerseyeMum · 23/11/2010 08:46

Just for future reference, how soon after you are due should you POAS? Des it need a few days to, you know, tell?

I am on day 33 when I thought my cycle was 30 - but then, I have only been off the pill for 4 months so it is probably not setled yet.

My stats are TTC1,Cycle 4, UCL 30, CD 33

MissFlick · 23/11/2010 08:58

I think anytime from the day your due is a good time to test tiger. Some people even get positives a few days before they are due too. I think it's worth a shot but then I am a bad example (see above!) It does only take one wee swimmer so I think you are still in with a chance :)

OP posts:
TigerseyeMum · 23/11/2010 09:07

Thanks MIssFlick though looking at my chart, my cycle has become 33 days the last couple of cycles, and we didn't SWI until day 19 this month due to work stress Hmm so unless any ladies hung around for 4 days waiting to be picked up I doubt it has happened!

I am trying not to be gloomy but I honestly can never in a million years imagine me being pregnant! But then, I thought I was infertile for most of my life so it's a hard habit to break.

I had better go to uni. I feel a bit queasy though....

ToriaPumpkinHead · 23/11/2010 10:39

Flick you know me too well! My calm exerior lost it's restraint this morning and I worked out that if I did ovulate that weekend in Edinburgh then I'd be 12DPO so POAS this morning to satisfy the urge, was an internet cheapie, so as established last month it doesn't count! Was BFN, which was expected and I actually wanted as it stops me spending any time wondering as I'm still convinced I didn't ovulate so being pregnant would be a real miracle hehehe. Onwards to my awesome December Grin

Sorry you had a rubbish day, how was the Shepherd's Pie and TV?

MissFlick · 23/11/2010 11:03

Oh bummer Toria but it's not over yet as you know. Glad that you are feeling positive and looking forward to an awesome December! How quickly has this year gone?! I am still in shock that it is December next week. EEEKKK! My Shepherd's pie is still cooking in the oven, it has almost half a bottle of red wine in it and I am just about to drink the rest- yum, yum!

OP posts:
ToriaPumpkinHead · 23/11/2010 11:25

Have one for me Flick! I have cubs tonight so no drinking for me, just about to head out for reflex so looking forward to my lovely Zen afternoon Grin I'm actually really not fussed about the BFN, means I can properly let go over Christmas and just think about things in January Grin

TigerseyeMum · 23/11/2010 14:30

I have come home from uni early as I have nausea and dizziness and a pain under my ribs. Of course, the reality is that is my overdue period building itself up to tidal wave proportions, but my mind keeps symptom spotting Hmm

If only!

Florin · 23/11/2010 18:33

Evening everyone! Sorry I have been a bit quiet recently. Dh had his sperm test on Friday the place we had to take it was over an hour away so we had to rush it there. Dh wouldn't do it on his own so I had to give him a helping hand! although I made him get it in the pot as didn't see how that was physically possible! Waiting for results now which we should get at our appointment next Friday so all is progressing! Can't believe it's December next week either, I have my Christmas party next Friday! Now just waiting for ertd to turn up just want to get it over and done with.
flick hope your progesterone works for you
lanky good luck with the move

maamalady · 23/11/2010 18:52

Hi all, ERTD has turned up again :( Can the next person who does the stats add me to the bottom again, please?

evilgiraffe TTC#1, Cycle 4, UCL 27, CD1

Still, I'm evidently still functioning properly

roundtable · 23/11/2010 19:46

Hi ladies back again, feeling much more positive, I think it's the thought of snow...am I the only person who finds it exciting?!

raspberry I hope you are feeling happier, it's rubbish trying to keep others happy when you're feeling rubbish within yourself.

gardenpixie I admire the way you are upbeat, posting everyones stats and are so encouraging to us all. It's such a lovely read, especially when there's so many of us who are not feeling very upbeat.

Glad DH is back, making up for lost time, less about SWI and more about just the S which is the way it needs to be from now on I have decided. I've stopped weeing on sticks (although there is an emergancy stash in the cupboard and I'm sure I'll break!)and have just decided (for the time being) what will be will be...hmmmmmm

Positive thoughts ladies, I hope everyones week at work is going well :)

TigerseyeMum · 23/11/2010 20:52

I bought a stick at Tescos, just in case Hmm

Hope everyone is having a good evening. Still no ERTD but plenty of period pain Angry

Truffkin · 23/11/2010 22:51

Hi Frolickers, just to let you know my temp dropped this morning so think ERTD is on the way. I should imagine there will be no POAS action for you lot me!

Truffkin · 23/11/2010 22:52

P.S. Tiger everything crossed for you and Toria to make this a lucky thread for some!

MissFlick · 24/11/2010 01:30

Morning All,

Sorry you've had a temp drop truff it's not over until ERTD arrives though- I'll still keep things crossed for you and toria too :)

tiger have you used your stick yet?!

Sorry your ERTD arrived evil - good sign that your body is behaving normally though with the cycle length.

Glad your DH is back roundtable I agree with you, snow is so exciting!

Hi florin glad your DH got his test done ok :) he he! Good luck with the results and your appointment next week. I'm excited to hear what they suggest for you.

Hope you're doing ok garden

I still feel rubbish, this progesterone is really making me feel so tired and very moody and sick. I wish I could think that it was early pregnancy symptoms but I'm sure it is side effects of the progesterone. Still, if I can get through today then we're nearly at the weekend again!

Morning ladies, just checking in on y'all!

roundtable nice to see you bacl again, and glad your DH is back. It is pants when they are away isn't it!

Florin fingers crossed the appointment goes well.

Truff I'm with Flick, it ain't over till its over!

Flick I'm firmly keeping my fingers, toes and all other apendages crossed that your symptoms are very promising! Hope you feel a bit better soon though!

Tigerseye hope the spare stick is a lucky one!

No news from me, as usual. DH and I had a chat about things and, for the the first time, I didn't burst into tears whilst discussing matters - that is progress for me, I must be chilling out!
We're going to get Christmas and New Year out of the way then I will book a Doctors appointment to see if I can get some tests to see what the flaming heck is going on with my insides! I stopped couting days about 6 weeks ago, but I am roughly 5 months with no sign of any action Sad.

[slaps self] However, I am determined not to let it get me too down so will not be dwwelling on it. Besides, my lovely new dress is due to arrive any day now and what girl can not get excited about the prospect of a designer dress landing on her doorstep?!

Happy, chilly, Wednesday!
