Right, I am putting the blame completely on you lot but I have now bid on an Issa dress on EBay Grin.

It is (currently) much cheaper than the others (£135 at the moment) it is used but in good nick and there is no silly reserve on it. The thing that swung it for me is that it is in my size, though I would have been tempted if it was a size or so bigger and paid for it to be taken in.

If I end up buying it I am SO blaming you guys Wink

Toria nice to hear from you! I'm with you on the positive attitude.

gardenpixie · 19/11/2010 14:22

Cavey I am happy to accept responsibility for your bid! well done! Hope you get it Grin

I have managed to console my madness with the fact that, even if I am not pg, not having any kind of spotting by now at least means this is the longest luteal phase I've had since I've been obsessing about taking an interest in such things.

Please can someone make it be tomorrow morning so I can POAS? I am usually not this bonkers about it.

MissFlick if I came to visit you, it would be tomorrow morning sooner, right? [crazed logic emoticon]

xxx

MissFlick · 19/11/2010 14:35

Ha ha garden Yep, it is 10.30pm here-almost tomorrow morning! Hang in there, I will be refreshing all day tomorrow to see your news.EEEEEKKK :)

cave so excited about your dress- I really hope you win it. What colour is it?

Thanks toria Glad my purchases have FF approval :) Also glad that all is well with you and your man, that he likes your dress and that you are still nice and chilled about TTC. Sorry that the fire photos were so distressing :( I'm just so relieved that no one got hurt as I bet al of you are. My friend calls "Removing the dead wood. With a machete" thinning the heard- I love that phrase!

Will be back tomorrow hopefully with my progesterone test results- keep everything crossed that they show I've ovulated xxx

CaveMum · 19/11/2010 14:48

MissFlick it is the ACTUAL dress - same colour (sapphire blue) and style. [drools]

The auction ends late Sunday night so I will let you all know how I get on. I've set myself a maximum and will not be going over that, I hope!

garden try this for some insane logic: let's say you go to bed at 11pm, well that is only just over 8 hours away and you'll be testing as soon as you wake up. I think it is perfectly logical to tell yourself you'll be testing in a little over 8 hours, as the time doesn't count if you are asleep!

I think that works Hmm

gardenpixie · 19/11/2010 14:50

Oh Cavey I feel much better now, thanks! Obviously I am expecting a BFN as I may well be only be 11 DPO if I ov'd just before my scan; but not being able to test before now because of the HCG seems to have turned me into a complete wreck! Oh well, I guess some months I'm calm and some (like now) I just need someone to slap me with a kipper!

Fingers crossed for your dress Grin

JosieSmith1 · 19/11/2010 15:10

Loving the time differences! Think that trumps my 2ww obsession Grin

Hope your dress is gorgeous Cavey

JosieSmith1 · 19/11/2010 15:35

Dagnamit, DH says he's going straight to bed when he gets in as he's got a migraine, no SWI for me tonight

gardenpixie · 19/11/2010 15:39

Nooooo. Josie that is NOT ALLOWED

Does his not realise he must be the sperminator?

CaveMum · 19/11/2010 16:00

Tell him that sex releases endorphins which are natural painkillers - sex will be GOOD for his migraine!

JosieSmith1 · 19/11/2010 16:09

PMSL at sperminator Garden Grin

I'll tell him that Cave but he's a big wimp so might not believe me. I may have to prove it to him Wink

gardenpixie · 19/11/2010 21:35

You go Josie ! Do it for the Frolickers! Grin xx

Truffkin · 20/11/2010 00:42

Hi guys, just checking in to save my place for Garden's update tomorrow Grin

No news here, had very busy work week and have equally busy social weekend planned. Have managed to catch up with one brother and one sister today, doing a big girlie catch up tomorrow then my Dad and 2 more siblings on Sunday! Will then be heading home for Strictly and X Factor catch ups. I'm 10 DPO and had another temp shift this morning, although accompanied by NO symptoms, think this is a red herring!

P.S loving the shopping Flick am super keen on the heart front top. May need to add that to my list of Christmas needs Grin

MissFlick · 20/11/2010 03:27

Ooo truff is your chart the fabled tri-phasic?! Exciting. Everything crossed, what does FF say your test date is? Glad you like the heart top, it's cute isn't it? Think it will look lovely with jeans. Will let you know how it is in the flesh when it arrives, hopefully some time next week.

Josie hope you managed to convince your man!

Oh cave it's THE dress. Wow! I so hope you win, keep refreshing in the last few minutes so no one sneakily gazumps you at the last min!

garden hope you managed to get some sleep last night and that you'll be along soon with good news for us.

I've had my blood test and am now hanging around waiting for my results in case I need to go back for some progesterone supplements. Instead of shopping I am sitting in Starbucks and have just marked a batch of essays so feeling very proud of myself! Should have results within the next hour so will pop back and let you know the verdict.

MissFlick · 20/11/2010 05:18

Me again! I have my p test results and they are a bit Confused my doctor said my level was borderline-they like it to be between 20-25 and mine was 19.4. However, 7dpo is tomorrow but I had to get the test today as the clinic is obviously closed tomorrow with it being Sunday. I'm not sure how much of a difference one day would make to my level? I have been given some delightful suppositories and have to take two in the morning and two in the evening. I'm a little scared! does anyone have any thoughts/ experience with progesterone levels?

Sorry for me,me,me! Will be back for garden news later on :) x x

gardenpixie · 20/11/2010 08:19

Morning everyone, just tested with a superdrug hpt and BFN Sad

No sign of ERTD though so fingers crossed I still might be in with a chance!

MissFlick I was told that anything over 15 when you are using clomid and a trigger shot is good - even though they do prefer over 20.

And given that you are 6DPO rather than 7, I'd say a big hurrah! Sorry about the prog suppositories though, hope they're not too horrid to use!

Truff that is v exciting about your triphasic brilliance! Hurrah!

Josie did you manage to, ahem, get romantic last night after all?

Waves to everyone else xxxx

Boo to BFN garden. Like you said though, you could still be only 10DPO which is waaaaay too early for a BFP to show and as long as ERTD stays away then you're in with a blooming good chance seeing as you know that you definitely ovulated and SWI'd at the right time. Thanks for your info on ovulation- I didn't actually get to speak to my doctor, it was the nurse who told me that the doctor had checked my results and advised the suppositories so I think I will phone my doctor on Monday and see what she says about whether she things I've ovulated. I guess they wouldn't have given me the progesterone tablets if they didn't think I had ovulated though?

OP posts:
CaveMum · 20/11/2010 08:31

Garden sorry about the BFN, but you ARE testing early!

Flick sorry your test was not more conclusive, I can't offer any advice but keeping my fingers crossed that all is as it should be.

I've been outbid on the dress at the moment but I will go back just before the auction ends to get my final efforts in. As I said I have set myself a mental limit so just hoping that it doesn't get that high.

Happy Saturday all!

womanlytales · 20/11/2010 09:17

Sorry about the bfn garden, hang in there chick, it will happen. Flick- hope you get a better Outlook fm your doc. Have a gd wknd ladies.
Garden, if u can, pls wait till Fri to poas again. Feel bad I was not there to stop you from testing early.. the way I see it, you have some great signs now let ur body do the rest... though this part of the cycle is so tough. Big hug... hate those bfns esp when they cd be sioo false.. remember mrswajs

CaveMum · 20/11/2010 09:31

Dagnabit! I've just been on EBay and the dress is no longer there!
I can only presume that someone made the seller a private offer.

Sad

I guess I'll have to avail myself of one of the many High St copies that will appear in the coming months.

Boo!

TomboyWife · 20/11/2010 09:48

Morning ladies!

garden sorry about the BFN. Sad But it's very early as everyone else has said.

Flick sorry your tests weren't more explicitly positive, but it sounds like all is not lost.

It looks like I may be about to ovulate stupidly early. I went straight from AF to EWCM. Weird...

highheelsandequations · 20/11/2010 10:09

MissFlick my consultant told me that progesterone levels can change dramatically in a day so result sounds promising.

Sorry about BFN garden but it's still early days yet.

gardenpixie · 20/11/2010 10:19

Thanks all for comiserations ... I know I could be testing way too early but if I ov'd on the 6th or 7th (which would make sense given the trigger shot on the 5th) then I am 14 DPO and tested with a 10mIU test so it should have picked up something by now Sad

Just a bit glum because as of next month, DH and I will have been TTC for 3yrs. I think that's what's fuelling my madness this cycle! Though I suppose I should concentrate on the fact that we have got so much sorted since then (his swimmers / my bonkers cycle) rather than thinking about what we haven't got (a baby!).

Oh well, will try to keep myself busy for the next few days and keep fingers crossed ERTD doesn't turn up ...

Hope everyone else's weekends are off to a good start!

Cavey just think, for the money you would have had to shell out for the dress on ebay, you could buy loads of new outfits on the high st which will look just as good anyway!

Tomboy Confused for you about early oving - but doesn't that mean you have a super developed egg ready to grab hold of Mr TomBoy's swimmers? Will you have a chance to, ahem, take advantage of the situation this weekend? Wink

Freshly buttered crumpets for everyone Smile

gardenpixie · 20/11/2010 10:21

PS Thanks to everyone for putting up with my large dose of crazy over the last few days. Will try to rein it in a bit! xxx

Karstan · 20/11/2010 13:12

Commiserations Josie, it's annoying when you can't get all the pieces of the jigsaw together, my OH was laid up with a bad back right when I was ovulating so no SWI-ing at the right time for me either.

Gardenpixie fingers crossed for you, I know people who've had successful pregnancies even after testing negative for a while after ERTD was due so it's not all over yet.

MissFlick hope the progesterone does the trick
