Hello knitter and honeywitch

*loopy, I know, barsted wtf cycle going all crazy on my ass. And all i want to do is get back to "normal". Hey ho.

pretty it's probably just as well, I didn't really know what i was doing re the computer virus thingymujiggy and it took me ages to fix. I am sure anyone vaguely computer literate would have had it fixed much better than I.

I have been at a wedding at the weekend, it was nice and i drank a lot of drambuie. Hence some swi. Fingers crossed that wtf cycle is actually doing something in there, but i don't have much hope..

battery how embarrassing!

StickThemWithThePointyEnd · 28/07/2010 16:42

hello new people sorry you are here!

lol battery. Sorry, I probably shouldn't laugh.

CD18. CanItestyetCanItestyetCanItestyetCanItestyetCanItestyetCanItestyetCanItestyetCanItestyetCanItestyet? gaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
Just come back from the doc's who thinks my EDS has given me tendonitis in my hips, knees ankles and wrists (again) and put me on some murderous pain killers. Not sure how good they are for TTC, but he said if I don't take them, and the anti inflammatories, the pain won't go away. He said that ideally, I should leave it for this month, but I'm into the 2WW already, so shucks.

SamanthaB123 · 28/07/2010 20:47

Hello Everyone ,

I thought that I'd post a message from 'the other side' as I follow the thread from time to time having graduated back in February. I'm not sure what I wanted to say, only that there is hope and that the vast majority of graduates on the pregnancy thread have an uneventful (if not a little stressful) eight months or so. There is no denying that miscarriage does take the romance out of the early stages of pregnancy and it certainly took me a while to believe that I would actually end up with a baby. It all became much more real after the 20 week scan and since then I have actively planned for a baby to arrive in October.

I hope that those of you who I know a bit (Cheepz, Jollster, Barrenbrook) are doing ok and I hope to see lots of you on the pregnancy thread that seems to follow this one soon. Good luck! SB x

PS - I did wonder if it would be worth setting up a grads stats list with a link from this one so that you don't have such a long list everyday when you update...hope you don't think I'm interferring, it's just a thought!

Hopefully · 28/07/2010 22:29

Just swinging by to say hello! Have been working on a mock up of the bodice of the wedding dress all evening, and in that time I managed to... cut out 8 pattern pieces. I can see this being a sloooow process

Not a symptom to report here, but also no bleeding or any other nasty surprises, so we're trying to remain positive. Luckily the wedding planning (because, you know, there are only about 50 weeks to go...) is keeping my mind off it very successfully. I think I should change my username to Hopefullynotacompletebridezilla.

Welcome to Honey and knitter, this is a great place to be in fairly crappy circumstances.

hippychick66 · 28/07/2010 22:46

Hi, was just browsing and popped in to see how you all were.

knitter You kindly replied to my thread a while ago about only seeing a sac at 6 weeks. i did later go on to have my second MC. I was so pleased for you that it seemed to be going ok back then and am so very sorry to see that you are now having an MC at 13 weeks. You must be so devastated - there's nothing I can say to make it better. I hope you have a lot of support and love in RL.

The ladies on here are very supportive and I hope they are a help to you over the next few weeks. Take care. xx

barrenbrook · 29/07/2010 06:55

Morning all, how are we diddling?

samb hello pal, luverly of you to pop in, good to hear all is well with you and your bean! Not long to go now! Exciting times. Likewise hippy

moof and magic8 good to hear all is well and the beans are settling in nicely by the sound of things.

honey, pippapolly and knitter welcome, as the others have said, this is a good place to be having gone through / going through a crappy time. I hope your stay here is a short one x

pv what's happening?!! Any news? I still have my fingers firmly crossed for you x

viv hope you are doing ok lovely x

PrettyVacant1 · 29/07/2010 08:08

Hey all.
Just a quickie as I'm on my stoopid phone.
I'll catch up properly later.
For those in suspenders just about to POAS this morn and RDT beat me to it.
So back down the list for me.
Thank for all the wishes that I win this month but we don't talk that much so I'm sure if I try ver hard I'll win one before we move on to next fred.

Welcome to new peeps and sorry again for not name checking x

VivClicquot · 29/07/2010 08:47

Morning gang x

What a lovely, shiny (and more manageable!) new list. I've moved me and pv down to the bottom. Sorry about the rusty cow's appearance missus, but I'll be your cycle buddy again for some August fun.

Hey sam - good to hear from you and glad everything is going well. I think a link to our list of success stories would be lovely - especially to remind us all that there is hope for all of us on this thread. Would you be able to oblige?

Hi Viv,

I don't actually know how to do the link thing I just thought it would be a good idea! I'm sure someone else will be able to though. It will definatly speed up your thread! How are you getting on? Sorry to see you on day one. Fx this month will be lucky for you, SB x

Freezingmyarseoff · 29/07/2010 09:20

Morning

pretty and Viv so sorry about the RTD for you both.
I likey the new list, nice work Loopy and the link to the grads list is a fab one.

Welcome to honey, pippa and knitter sorry you're here

LadyBee · 29/07/2010 09:23

prettyV, ah, what a pain - so sorry, but am amazed the caaaah didn't hang about til 1/2 an hour after you'd POAS to arrive, maybe she's starting to learn some manners?

I've put myself and Knitter onto a Waiting list, done some sleuthing to slot others who are getting on with it in the WTF cycle into their positions on the list - hope I got this right, but do just update anything that's wrong.

Added in a few more grads, just for encouragement...everyone after my last BFP is on

Right, now the middle of our list seems to be missing...what could you all be doing

I'm starting to feel a bit better.
I went out yesterday - arranged with a dear dear friend to take our little beasties out for a picnic, and it was such a nice relief to be outside, NOT thinking about what had happened, in the sun, talking about it and not talking about it. Just felt NORMAL.
It probably helps that I think bleeding might be starting to finish and I'm planning a trip up to EPU tomorrow to see if I can get the check-up scan. I think everything's ok, I certainly feel ok, so that might be a line drawn under it.

I am feeling very uneasy about work though. I'll be working from home today checking and dealing with emails today but hiding away from our online messenging or my phone. I get a sort of 'panicky' feeling about it whenever I think about it. Not sure what's behind that, other than general emotional fragility. Will have to see what I'm like in a few days and maybe speak to someone about it.
