I can't wait to see her handy tips for paupers...

not sure vintage ornaments in the playroom is such a good idea..mind you her 'playroom' seems to only have 2 toys in it.

Lapsedrunner · 08/12/2009 20:12

I've failed already......I haven't made a cake (planning to buy fruit cake but no marzipan/icing)!

OP posts:
ruddynorah · 08/12/2009 20:14

well don't panic she says you can apparently buy pre iced cakes in the shops!! she's is just full of useful hints isn't she?!

Lapsedrunner · 08/12/2009 20:15

Who actually eats the cake on Christmas Day?

OP posts:
Lapsedrunner · 08/12/2009 20:16

Her cake decorations were rubbish. There is a current cake decorating thread on here that is full of the most amazing cakes made by some hugely talented MNetters. My 5 yr old could do a better Christmas cake decoration than Kirstie .

kitsmummy · 08/12/2009 20:20

DS school is going to be on this, so am watching in excitement!

MollieO · 08/12/2009 20:20

Can't wait to see her to linocut. I did that once and it was very hard. I found it really hurt my hands when you cut the lino out.

saltyseadog · 08/12/2009 20:21

I've always wanted to learn how to do lino cuts .

kitsmummy · 08/12/2009 20:22

Yippeeee, there it is!

Lapsedrunner · 08/12/2009 20:26

kitsmummy ....confess I do like watching Kirstie

raspberrytart · 08/12/2009 20:26

she is taking the piss-we all know how to lino cut and make salt dough(don't we)

WilfSell · 08/12/2009 20:29

I used to love lino printing back in the Mesolithic when I was at school. What a good idea for Xmas cards.

Though I fear a potato will be quicker and more realistic in the WilfLair.

SantaClausImWorthIt · 08/12/2009 20:31

I think buying them would be a lot quicker ...

Lapsedrunner · 08/12/2009 20:33

Now we can all try glass blowing

OP posts:
saltyseadog · 08/12/2009 20:37

Nope raspberrytart - we don't .
