This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:
To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’
You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.
If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

🎄 Emoji to copy if required for posting bargains as some agree this makes deals easier to spot.

Will request this is deleted if someone more official beats me to it or if Reastie returns!

@hugsandpugs the books look lovely bit as someone else said I would be very wary. I just went looking for reviews and there are none. It looks like it’s only just been set up. Hope your order arrives.

I completely understand where you’re coming from. When she was live on whatnot she said that she’s been doing candles, waxes etc for about 8 years but had a break for a while and has just not long started back up again. She does have lots of recent reviews on what not. My first two orders were via whatnot but then I made an order on the website for the blind date with a book 📕 I’m usually very cautious where I order from but she seems like a genuine and trustworthy person and there were a few people on her live that had ordered from her over the last couple of weeks so I’m sure it will be fine ❤️

My whistlefish order has arrived, and I've just spent a happy half hour of my lunch break sorting the cards into my card organiser, and the remaining into my new tin. I also took the opportunity to throw out any old cards that have lost their envelopes 😆

It actually reminded me, the other year I bought my SIL (who I believe enjoys this stuff as much as I do, sad as it is) a card organiser and a whistlefish voucher.

The idea is a great one and the bundles look fab.

I have tried to find info on Companies House but can't find anything. The info is also missing from their website T&C's. Although sole traders don't need to register with CH, so it's not necessarily suspicious. And lack of info on the website might be an oversight if it's a newly created online retailer.

I have no idea about all this kinda stuff but I know she only set up the new website recently, I’ve just checked my whatnot activity and both of my orders from the weekend have been shipped 👌💕

🎄 disney store have 20% off with no minimum spend. Their bath toy sets in the buckets are amazing. The toys are lovely and big. They have no holes too so can't go mouldy. My kids age almost 3 and almost 7 both play with the princesses still!

Thank you! I was looking at the bath toys when we were in Disneyland Paris but thought they were too pricey, this is a much better price.

For any others looking for book suggestions, how about a book advent calendar? Well, it's sort of an advent calendar, 25 individually wrapped books in a genre of your choice. Just ordered for the second year running! And for me personally, it was the best present ever! https://www.treehousebookshop.co.uk/shop/category/advent-calendars-of-books

What an absolutely brilliant idea! DH and I don't do a "big" present, so instead we make up an advent calendar type of thing for each other. He's ordered that for me now to add to whatever else he buys for me. I'm so chuffed with this, such a good thing to look forward to.

sorry @Qwerty21, I think it's no longer valid 😞

How very rubbish

They haven’t as I’ve only ordered on the weekend. She sells her items on whatnot and has loads of reviews on there, that’s actually how I come across her 😊

I’ve just ordered from them and have emailed to ask if they can put a note inside as it’s a gift. Let’s see if they reply.

🎄 just been in to my local b&m & they were reducing summer stock to 10p. Think ring frisbee, toddler golf club set, swim toys. Also last year Xmas stock. Picked up 2 Santa chair covers for £1 for the pair! Worth a look if you’re near one.

The Football Grounds from around the world book arrived and its stunning! Can def recommend if you have a football mad DH/DS etc, more than makes up for the moonpig debacle...
Also ordered the BOB body wash set and have added a discount code to the bargain referrals thread, its for 50% off so the scrubber, wall mount and 2 fragrances for under a tenner if anyone wants it.

InbetweenDreams · Today 16:28

Is the £30 off £60 at Asda finished?

This isnt really a bargain, but may help someone else! I have been pondering what to get our neighbour, an 80 year old lady who is a retired Vicar, and stumbled across this book - I THINK it could be a hit - amzn.eu/d/04rvYuua

Isn't it fabulous? I ordered it for DNeph who visits lots of strange & unusual football grounds, it's perfect. Such a gorgeous book too. I just knew there'd be others who liked it.

I might just buy this for DS1. Thanks.

I've been pondering this. You think it would travel well? DS1 going backpacking for 6 months in January. I'd like to order extra soaps too so he'd have enough.

Is it easy enough to cancel subscription?

£12 for the box of Transparent Lego bits at the moment, they look nice.

think it’s as low as they drop, but they do seem to hit that price fairly often.
