Hi folks,

Has anyone seen Wet Brush branded hair brushes on sale anywhere? They are the only kind of brush that seems to get through my daughter's thick hair and I thought I might get one for her stocking.
Thank you :)

If you aren't fussed on the print they often go down cheaper on amazon

MerylSqueak · Yesterday 22:07

Hello does anyone know of a discount for the Futon Company? I'm about to buy a put me up for Christmas guests and some money off would be very much appreciated.

Whoevenknowswhatisgoingon · Yesterday 22:08

🎄 I'm sure everyone has seen all over Facebook but Asda have a deal on for new email addresses for grocery customers. £30 off a £60 order. It includes video games etc. I just used it to stock up on cupboard essentials, some chocolate for stockings and to start my christmas food stash

Givealittlebit · Yesterday 22:14

🎄 Thanks for the new thread! Lots of the Guinness world record books currently around 1/2 price on Amazon atm! Usual hardback, football edition, gamer edition….just incase its usual for anyone

Erinann · Yesterday 22:21

Thanks bush for the thread- glad you were there as the usuals have disappeared! Maybe visiting Santa early 🎅🏽

They often have them in TKMaxx, that’s where we’ve got ours from in the past.

Thank you, much appreciated :) I'll have another look in our local TK Maxx

Dinosweetpea · Yesterday 20:37

Agree, definitely TK Maxx for Wet brushes. Often have lovely designs/characters.

Thank you :)

In previous years posters have recommended a particular bath toy for younger kids/toddlers

I'm thinking it may have been the Toomies Bath Barista but has anyone had one or something similar and can recommend?

You might like the bath toys made by Hevea or by Oli and Carol. They don't have holes in so don't go mouldy :) They are more pricey than other makes though as made of natural rubber, so not very bargains I'm afraid!

@ILoveCatsAndKittens I tried the £15 off code shared on here but it wouldn't work for me, said it wasn't valid but in my app I had the offer of a free mystery gift if I purchased 50 pods, then once I clicked that it showed free next day delivery too. I think it must avry by person as a few others said the £15 didn't work for them either.

🎄The Nespresso code I had was HELLOGIFT

For those that didn't see on the last thread, my mystery gift was 2 glass mugs and 2 spoons, worth £28. Really nice and weighty, I'm very pleased.

Thanks for the new thread @ExtraordinaryBush ☺️

I am looking for the best price (or deal with cashback…) for an Ugg blanket. It must be Ugg unfortunately.

rainingcats · Today 06:35

Can anybody recommend any pop up football goals? Or have seen any discounted anywhere? Will be a main gift so need to be fairly substantial ones if possible - thanks in advance

🎄If anyone is near hemel hempstead and knows a book lover, I went to 66 books yesterday and spent a small fortune.
I was being taken there by my husband for my birthday treat because I love fantasy books but unfortunately couldnt find anything new for myself. However, I have bought my girls LOADS (and he got himself quite a few too).
Should have cost £540 and we spent £132... :)

❤️Seperate Plea- I have booked a short stay to disney paris for january next year for my family as a surprise which I will gift at christmas. I will reveal it after we play a game of ticket to ride and claim we have 1 more mission to complete and it will be a scratch card that reveals a ticket to disneyland. However, I would really love to get my girls some disney themed gifts that are bargainous /could potentially come with us so we can avoid the "ohhhh can i have this please?!" In the shops.. any tips or bargains would be appreciated! (My girls are aged 12, 9 and 9- the twins love descendents, they all hate stitch 😂)

*edited to add I am alllll over vinted! Love that site :)

@Bumblebeesince19 Pin badges are a good one, and a lanyard with a card holder for the ‘magic key’ ticket card thing. I got everything on Vinted, great for finding niche designs in line with favourite characters. We put the pins on the lanyards.

Plus there is a thing at Disney parks called pin trading where any with an official logo can be traded with the cast members at certain shops. I got some bland ones for that, though we didn’t trade in the end, it’s not such a thing at Paris vs USA, but I did find where to do it at a stand quite near the Buzz Lightyear ride.

Also Disney toiletries in Boots.

Flubadubba · Today 07:06

@Bumblebeesince19 Primark is your friend here! They do a great range of stuff like ears etc much cheaper than in DLP- the Minnie ears we have were virtually indistinguishable fron the expensive ones there!

RedBullAndYop · Today 07:51

I got my DDs Disney ear muffs from Matalan when we went to DLP last December, they took ears we already had from our WDW trip but didn’t wear them at all as it was really cold. I also bought my girls a personalised wooden Disney-shaped Christmas bauble each that were for character autographs, they were a hit and it will be nice to add them to the tree again this year. They were from Etsy. I would also take a light up toy for the show/parade as they were stupidly expensive for what they are.

With my DDs we learned from our WDW trip that taking pre-bought merch didn’t stop them wanting to buy stuff there. It isn’t the item they are necessarily wanting they just like the experience of being in the shop and buying a memento. So when we went to DLP, I didn’t buy anything in advance and just transferred their budget for Merch onto their debit cards instead. They were 9 and 7 at the time and mostly interested in jewellery and teddies.

Think it probably is that one, we've had the Toomy bath barista, the dishwasher and the ice cream machine. The barista is by far the best of the three, they're still not bored of it two years later.

@ExtraordinaryBushhow do you stop it from going mouldy? I'm always reluctant to buy bath toys because of this

Not sure how you feel about Ali Express/Temu but you can buy the same ears you get at the parks there for a fraction of the price. Same with the shoulder buddies and bubble wands! Bubble wands alone are €35 in the park 😫

I can't say it's been an issue with the barista, it's well designed and drains properly
