Thank you for that. Worked a treat. £3 delivered for a lip balm from the outlet (reduced from £8) and the full size hand balm, which is the one I usually buy anyway 😊

Thanks for sharing, how did you get free delivery on this? Minimum delivery is £3.49 for me…

Have you tried these detangling brushes? My friend recommended to me as both our dd's have long, thick hair prone to tangling and I have to say, they work like a dream, especially if brushing through with conditioner on.

We haven't, thanks for the tip :)

I think it must have just been at the tail end of a free delivery offer.

Thank you to whoever shared the Ulster Weavers offer - got my stuff today, really fast delivery, great bargain and packaged really well ( cereal bowls.) I was nearly put off by the poor reviews on Trust pilot so glad I took the risk😊

Puffalicious · Yesterday 21:22

My Ulster Weavers order also arrived- just wonderful quality. I've had teatowels before, but not bedding (for me!) or towels- some as a gift, others for me (again!). I'm very excited about the beautiful white ones (no stinky rugby showers or teen boys are getting near them), & the black patterned Lawrence LB are sumptous for aforementioned rugby boys! I'm tempted to do a 2nd order!

My ex-H just ordered this alternative advent calendar for my 2 eldest to share. I think it looks good, & a bargain.https://colitt.com/products/colitt-outdoorsman-advent-calendar

I love the outdoor calendar idea but was taken back by the sexism on the site! Went to see where they're based (I honestly can't imagine your average UK company marketing themselves in this way) and can't see a real address there anywhere.

Trustpilot looks VERY mixed. I'd avoid tbh.

I’m interested in getting one of these this year but something tells me there was an issue about delivery to Northern Ireland or some issue about the offer applying to Northern Ireland last year - does this ring any (jingle) bells?
please let me know if you’ve gotten one at a reduced price in NI

I ordered one for BIL in NI direct from degusta, the latest email I have from them is saying £33 and they did add postage but only the same amount as to mainland when i ordered.

although its not yet been dispatched so cant guarantee they won't cancel!

Thanks so much for replying.
I seem to remember a thing about these getting to NI last year.

Maybe it was through a groupon offer rather than direct.
Have you had this calendar before, you thought it was a good buy?

DaffodilsInAJamjar · Yesterday 21:51

Left my basket and Bodyshop emailed me a 15% extra off code, which stacks with the free hand cream code. Still got to pay p&p though. But, I can’t get the gift set code to work at all, which is annoying as I’d actually like to buy the almond milk one

I got this too. And the banner across the top of the email says "Free delivery on all orders"

But when I click through it's adding the postage costs.

Still a good deal if you use that hand cream I think, but not worth it for me.

yeah we enjoyed it last year, enough to get again and to order one for BIL.

Its obviously a bit of a gamble based on what you like - a couple of things one or the other of us wouldn't eat but I think we ended up giving one thing away in the end - last years contents are here https://www.degustabox.com/en/product/edition/158

which reminds me to try and find some gingerbread custard, that was lush

Oh gosh, I didn't look far into the website at all. I now see what you mean 🫣. Ex-DH would be mortifed, he's just not that kind of guy. Fingers 🤞 it's not a pile of rubbish they get.

Thank you for the body shop code @XStitcher87. I paid £3.49 delivery; but still a bargain and now have a teacher present sorted.

Agree that even if I had to pay postage this was worth it.

ITSSSSCHRISTMASSS · Yesterday 22:27

@Rosesandcrysanthamums I usually get them from homebargins or Tk max.

My daughter would like an owala water bottle, does anyone know the best place for a bargain? She doesn’t mind which colour, thanks

If she’s not fussy about colour you can get one from JD and use Blue Light discount which is sometimes 20%. Unfortunately they don’t have it in the colour dd wants…

If anyone spots a Disney Zombies Zed doll or Zed merch while traveling around the internet, could you please let me know?

My son has become obsessed with the films and really wants a Zed figure. He said they're top of his Christmas list but Zed is about £70 at the cheapest. I've checked eBay, Amazon, Vinted, Oxfam and the usual toy shops.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If anyone gives nice booze as gifts, Laurent-Perrier champagne is 25% off when you buy 6 at Ocado.

@XStitcher87 thank you for the bodyshop code - got it working by adding the cream into basket and then applying the code :)

I had trouble getting the Degusta calendar delivered in NI last year. Two went missing, it was an EVRI issue really, they were ditching parcels rather than deliver to rural locations but neither Degusta or groupon were helpful even when it was well into December and I had to really push to get a refund (rather than groupon credit). They also charge £5 delivery to NI while GB is free. BUT I am considering giving it another go because I do think my mum would enjoy it.

hugsandpugs · Yesterday 23:54

Thanks for the body shop tip - gutted I missed the free delivery but ordered anyway alongside some gift boxes which I’ll use for wax melt hampers for a couple of family members.

🎄If anyone is looking for a gift for a book lover these blind date with a book are absolutely stunning - you can choose a genre and it comes with extras like bookmark, a hot drink, biscuit etc! Currently £10 but when you go to basket it takes 10% off and free delivery! I’ve ordered one myself as a little treat for me to try and wind my mind down and relax a bit - dad is currently in ICU so my brain is very stressed! The company is a small buisness but I’ve already placed three orders in the last few days. The wax melts look absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful mugs too.

Thanks very much.
I think I’ll give it a go, where are you ordering from if you decide to?
Everi last year was horrendous

I think they pulled the offer late last night or early this morning because people were using lots of different emails to create multiple accounts. Annoying!!

How annoying. I have never had a grocery account with them before and annoyed I registered now.
