Thread 3 - the one where things get serious

[Reastie]

All my plans at getting organised in the last thread left me as I realised the thread with referrals was already up and running, so the one I set up I'll link to once the current one runs out!

Welcome one and all to this safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

If there’s anything you think would be useful or good to include in this post then please do tag me and let me know here (or DM me). Also always happy to hear nominations for a thread title.

Mine is still showing being delivered tomorrow so I will wait with baited breath lol

Emailing them seemed to speed things up for me. I orderdf on 18th.

i’m not in touch with current Lego prices, so can’t say if the prices are good, but just got an email from BrickaBrac saying they have a clearance sale on.

A heads up, bought these in Feb and they were a fucking awful bastard to get off the bath...its still on the grout

Thanks I had ordered but will cancel

I got all excited with a DPD delivery notice today, thinking my email had also sparked a Starfish delivery...but it was my books from HarperCollins. All fantastic: I get v excited by new books!

Think the 50% off has stopped, but there's a 40% banner on the website & free delivery over £25.

My PLouise £1 box arrived. Looks lovely. Perfect to pop in the charity gift collection.

Thanks! I nearly ordered this for my friend’s DC 😂 I don’t think she would have been best pleased with me!

My Plouise micellars arrived today and my son saw them. He said his girlfriend loves their stuff so spent an hour following the careful instructions (and failing numerous times!) but scored her a great bundle for £17 delivered!! Thanks all

Mines still showing 2/3rd for delivery too.

25% off certain Lego sets with the code BDAY25 on Argos

Sorry to be a pain, do you need to buy a stand for it?

No, it doesn’t need one.

I get bath crayons from aldi / kids for less than 2 quid every now and then... quick spray and wipe and they are easily gone.

What a thoughtful young man you've raised!

New thread incoming in a min...

Hiya no you don’t, I ordered the rainbow one but I think for like the owl and dino you can get an egg stand or whatever for novelty effect ☺️

new thread when you're ready

https://amzn.eu/d/08Jolcs7 any dino loving boys that envy a pollypocket! We have one and great for going out for tea

I may just have placed a third Plouise order . The code HUKDPLOUISE also stacks for an extra 15% off . The usual +1 Gmail trick works for anyone not wanting to use lots of different emails . I did a couple of orders for £1 for the two lots micellar water. Then I saw the reviews for the shampoo and conditioner, so am now waiting for a third set of micellar water, free lip duo and free mystery bag , I'm hoping to use for presents apart from the shampoo and conditioner as long as I don't get over attached to it myself !

I’ve ordered £70 worth of PLouise stuff worth about £400 with these tips. Thanks guys!

What is “the usual +1 Gmail trick”?

Mine is also saying 2/3rd October, but hasn’t yet been dispatched

Mine was delivery today but not been dispatched either

Did somebody share a discount code for GIve Me? Specifically for free shipping? I can't find the post now. Thank you
