All my plans at getting organised in the last thread left me as I realised the thread with referrals was already up and running, so the one I set up I'll link to once the current one runs out!

Welcome one and all to this safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations Smile .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

If there’s anything you think would be useful or good to include in this post then please do tag me and let me know here (or DM me). Also always happy to hear nominations for a thread title.

I got my starfish order today - ordered on the 18th so quite a wait, but it is nice.

Interested in this too if and has info it would be appreciated. Thanks

Finally had a delivery email for baby born. No idea if all my items are coming though! Find out tomorrow!

Totally random but could be good for anyone making up hampers (or for the person looking for gluten free) - Steens honey are changing their packaging so theyre selling off their old stock on the clearance and 60OFFLAST gives more saving (i think its another 60% off the clearance price - brings a £15 squeezy tube down to £6.40) - lovely authentic New zealand raw manuka honey. I know id be delighted to have some in my stocking (and may have just ordered myself some to do just that!) - couldnt find anyway around the £5 delivery charge under £80 tho. https://uk.steenshoney.com/collections/clearance

Same, got my DPD emails today, Baby Born inbound tomorrow. Still waiting on Starfish, ordered on the 19th, hopefully doesn't turn out to be this year's American Candy.

lemoncurdcupcake · 29/09/2026 20:21

@butterfliesandbee with the shipping the 3 pack of 100mgo 340g honey comes to £8.43 each, and it's £8.50 each from Tesco for the 'UK's best brand' rather than this one from nz. So not that much of a bargain unless you know your honey brands I guess!

The 85mgo one is cheaper, as outlined by the pp.

Could go down a right honey rabbit hole here!

Bit of a random one but got a book of paper airplane designs in Lidl today for £2.99 says 6+ but my 4 year old will love this with help! Lots of other cutting design books too!

Fireside10 · 29/09/2026 20:37

Has anyone got any suggestions on good books for a 5 year old boy? I love Harper Collins but find the website infuriating to search through. If it helps anyone else I found 3 Octonauts books which are £4 each when bought as a bundle with the discount.

I have still heard nothing from Starfish and mine was ordered on the 18th.😫 The online update is stuck on 'We're preparing these items for shipping'.

I don't mind waiting (small company, goid cause, possibly overwhelmed) just wish they communicated better about these things!

Have emailed them.

I ordered on the 18th and got a dispatch email this afternoon and a DPD acknowledgement too. Hopefully you will get yours soon.

Sorry to be a pest! I have Searched the Lidl site but couldn’t find this. Can you post a pic please of the plane book?

Mine's exactly the same ☹️. I certainly won't shop with them again.

Yes, that was it - I got the 4 x 225g UMF15+ ones - the discount plus p&p brings it down to about £12.50 per jar. A quick google showed other brands coming in around £20-£35 per jar for this size & strength...

PurpleSkittler · 29/09/2026 21:21

Starbright102 · 29/09/2026 20:53

What is the steen info i have missed this

It's Steen's manuka honey, in their clearance section (due to having changed the packaging). There is an additional discount code to apply: 60OFFLAST
I used it on the 4 x MGO515 ones (which is a higher concentration, so I figure good for colds, flu etc) which are £99.16 in the clearance section and the code takes it down to £39.67 + £5 P&P, which is about £11/jar (not £12.50 which I miscalculated is as earlier)... a lot cheaper than other places seem to be for that strength...

I may have exaggerated a bit about buying it for everyone 😄

Thanks for all the pan advice on the other thread. My daughter is going to look around for another set that will last. She's replacing a cheap set she's had since she was a student, and wants decent ones.

Stellar pans are amazing!

WimbyAce · 29/09/2026 21:55

I have done the P Louise 2 for £1 thing. Don't even want it but it seemed too good a bargain to miss! Mine just kept automatically adding 2, one free and one normal price.

MrsBird03 · 29/09/2026 21:58

Has anyone's amazon pjs been dispatched yet? Mine are due to arrive 1st to 3rd Oct and yet to be dispatched :/

Theresalotgoingon · 29/09/2026 17:21

Why don't you get her a fragrance advent calendar? You may end up spending more but you could get a fairly large selection and know they'll all be genuine. Boots, Fragrance Shop, Perfume Shop and John Lewis all have their own versions.

https://www.theperfumeshop.com/the-perfume-shop/the-perfume-shop-advent-calendar/eau-de-parfum-spray/p/99530EDPJU?varSel=1332296 This is £99 but going through Topcashback you'll get 4.5% back.

Cowsontheloose · 29/09/2026 22:08

Great idea. Will have a look. Hopefully will be a bluelight discount aswell

I have loved reading the narwhal books by Ben Clanton with mine, and he also wrote tater tales - king of the world and the greatest in the world about a potato that look really good but we haven’t read those yet!
