Thread 3 - the one where things get serious

[Reastie]

All my plans at getting organised in the last thread left me as I realised the thread with referrals was already up and running, so the one I set up I'll link to once the current one runs out!

Welcome one and all to this safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

If there’s anything you think would be useful or good to include in this post then please do tag me and let me know here (or DM me). Also always happy to hear nominations for a thread title.

yes they do. Plus if you have a blue light card there is normally an additional discount

Am I mistaken but it's a plouise magazine rather than the water?

The micellar water is included

Thanks, DD is too old but perfect to donate to the Christmas appeal for £1.

Ah OK. 👌

@hugsandpugs thank you for the pLouise tip. I had one small thing to get but managed to add the micellar water as well. Hope it comes good as it will be a great addition to the Xmas stash :)

Thank you for sharing! I ordered this last night for my DD and it arrived today, she will love this!

Sorry @Tiredofitallagainbut something doesn’t look right about that “Stan” website?
Other than the angled jar - all the other products look like cheap printed on white mugs. It looks like one of those rip off dress shops but for a jar? Have you actually ordered from them?
I found a similar one on Temu for £9

I only know because me and DD have had them previously 😊

Glad I didn't order then!

Thank you whoever mentioned the Lego Nintendo game for £3.99, I just got it for DS. There were actually several Lego games for that price, usually £50 ish, so a great saving.

I missed the link & interested in the other ganes too

@hugsandpugs thanks for this, ordered for my granddaughter. Also given 2 and just £1 postage

I just got one but happy with that!

I ordered one and will let people know.
It was a recommendation from a fun work colleague so I really hope not a cheap temp resell!
Sorry if so! 😥

This was the Lego Nintendo game @Puffalicious

Sorry, can't remember who posted originally but it's a great deal - I've bought one too!

Has anyone seen posca pens on offer?

Up to 60% of some BookNooks until Wednesday. Make a great gift for older teens and adults.

The DDs love this game.

I love booknooks, where are they on offer? Thanks

I love this game!! (Covers face rather embarrassed and shuffles back out of the room!)

Sorry, I should have said - if you go on the Switch and go onto Nintendo e-shop, search Lego and there are several games available for £3.99 each. I think the offer was until 10th October.

It’s probably worth searching other titles too, as Nintendo quite often reduce prices for a limited time, without seeming to publicise it.

Oodie has 2 for one on selected oodies. I know they’re generally popular on here.

@Ewock Book Nook

Really impressed with Matalan! Ordered past midnight Saturday morning and it arrived this morning! 👏
