Thread 20 - the one with Christmas?

I'm taking a punt that this one might see us until Christmas. Will likely live to be proved wrong but let's go with the punt!

The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

Odeon annual passes 25% off until Jan 31st. Delighted i discovered this yesterday, as the Blue Light similar deal had sold out weeks ago. Was going to say to DS19 we'd organise it through Student Beans (20% off), but was able to sort it yesterday & present him with it today (well, screen shot).

I’ve just applied for a Blue Light Card. There was a place to enter a discount code, but I went ahead with it anyway, at £2.99 for two years.

I realise now that I should have asked here if it’s likely to be worth it. I shop online, mostly in sales, and in supermarkets. I don’t eat out, go to the cinema or take the sort of holidays that attract discounts. What do other people use it for?

M&S has lego in its sale, but not with amazing discounts. Some of the school uniform does, though.

Blc is worth it. I use it for supermarket shopping. You can buy vouchers through the rewards gateway and get a percentage off. Tesco is usually 3 or 4 percent off iirc.

Yeah I didn't think it was worth it initially but have since used it a lot for discounts on food (chains like green king are on there).
