I'm taking a punt that this one might see us until Christmas. Will likely live to be proved wrong but let's go with the punt!

Shout out for fab customer service from Abbott Lyon.
Bought a ring in the black Friday sale and the engraving inside was smudged so emailed and they told me to keep the ring and they'd either send a replacement or can have store credit.
I don't need 2 identical rings and the mistake is annoying but doesn't functionally affect the wear of the ring which was for myself not a gift anyway, so took the store credit and they gave me credit to the full price even though I paid sale! Ordered a locket for my mum's birthday and will be a repeat customer.

My Anthropologie order was cancelled today. This is after they ignored me chasing them initially, then after I kept chasing them, they finally replied with “we don’t know when you’ll get it.” Revolting customer service and I will never order anything from them again.

If you have a Dobbies Garden Centre near you they have pretty much all Christmas items 50% off - decorations/ lights/gifts. Their decorations are stunning but £££. I caved and picked 3 new tree decs (could have gone mad!) including a gorgeous 'Stick Man' one.

It was extremely festive having a wander- recommend if you're near one.

I've been surprisingly disappointed with InPost. I use them a lot for Vinted items & find them excellent, but we re-directed our Sport Pursuit order to InPost as no-one was going to be in for a few days, and they've lost it.

It's taken 2 weeks of back & forth- it's in Nottingham/ it's back in Glasgow/ it's due tomorrow. DH contacted Sport Pursuit Friday who have confirmed they lost it & have sent another immediately. Unfortunately it's a mountain biking helmet for DS, so he'll get a photo of one on the day/ can look at his brother's new one 😢 😀. Thankfully he's 21, but it's very annoying when we ordered 3rd week in November!

Anyone else sad that these post have died down now for another year 😕 came on for my nightly scroll and there hasn’t been a post since 7pm 😅

My local shopping centre is offering a wrapping service - ends today - for up to three parcels in return for a small donation to a local charity.

Lots of people were getting their parcels wrapped straight after purchasing the presents. I thought it was a nice idea and time-saving! It might be worth looking if a shopping centre near you is doing similar.

It’s also worth remembering that the beauty concessions in-store - such as Dior, Chanel, etc. SHOULD automatically wrap /offer to wrap any purchases in lovely boxes/bags at this time of year. It’s good to ask anyway, in the event of them forgetting.

The staff in JL were getting their gift boxes ready for customers and they all looked so pretty I almost bought myself a present!

I was also thinking the thread as slowed down a lot more than previous years at this stage in the lead up.

I think it’s also the timing of Christmas this year. I’ve noticed it at work (office, not retail).

Usually things slow down from the 22nd/23rd, but this year it was from the 18th/19th.

My Gardening Express stuff finally arrived an actually I’m v pleased with it all. Lovely little decorations and the trees are cute too.

Also got my Amazon Haul box way earlier than they stated which is good. What a load of odd items and strange packing too!

I ordered direct from them when they first had them and was delivered in November. Actually one of the best ones they have had I would say . However I’m fairly sure someone else on here ordered the late one and didn’t receive it , don’t think they had much luck with degusta and from memory think they did a bank chargeback .

Yes, it seems a bit slow to me, too! But I think the post has been quite unreliable this year (is it every year?) so I don't think I'd chance ordering something online now!

Twitched on the popcorn bundles on Wednesday as the website said order by 19th for Christmas delivery but no dispatch email as yet, can anyone remember what delivery service they use? Is it likely to be dispatched tomorrow and arrive on time?
Also, ohs said my preorder would be dispatched by 19th and again no dispatch email as yet so looks like ds big present isn’t going to be here. I knew it would be tight but Im still a bit disappointed.
