Going out for lunch instead of cooking it for the 15th year in a row!

IL’s have passed or are now in care and the rest of us are going to the pub on Christmas Day!! And eating lunch late afternoon!!! Can’t wait.

My husband isn't working so we will be together as a family this year

I am going back home as DD cannot walk so had to leave uni in the next country over (also abroad) and neither she nor DH can come to me (as we had originally planned) as a result.

I have a puppy ❤️. I’m ready (all presents and cards already done). I’m not bothering to see anyone except my DC and their partners.

It will be my first Christmas without my beloved mum. 😢😢😢

My youngest is now homeschooled (not ideal...lots of ongoing behavioural issues, she was getting into fights, suspended several times, a lot of her classmates were bad influences on her and she was headed for permanent expulsion, but I really didnt want her going to a pru)

Last year LO had only been with us a month or so and was overwhelmed, our decs were up by now and I was very very organised.

This year LO is more settled and is coping a lot better, we’re having work done on our house meaning our decs can’t go up for maybe another week and I’m having a slight panic about how much I have left to do.

I’ve got Christmas Day off work! And Christmas Eve! So happy 😀

The main difference for us is that our newborn son is with us. He will be ten weeks old at Christmas.
