RainbowZebraWarrior · 21/11/2025 10:39

Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

NIO cocktails have 25% off for Black Friday - can highly recommend as beautifully presented and great drinks.

Thanks for the new thread @RainbowZebraWarrior and hope you are recuperating @Reastie.

nothingtoseehereatall · 21/11/2025 10:48

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior ! I am loving these threads so much - relative newcomer to them and I tend to look during the day and not during weekend. I need to employ a thread butler to track those busy periods for me ;)

Thanks to Camel I got a Kindle yesterday from Amazon. Not a Xmas present but for my mum who has just been diagnosed with cancer. It's a bit niche I know but with her about to undergo weeks and weeks of chemo, if anyone has any suggestions for Xmas presents that might give be appropriate let me know.

Meanwhile I have given up hope that there will be any discounts on Switch 2 so browsing TopCashBack in the hope I can get it somewhere which will offer a bit back.

Lastly, by way of only offering so far today, lots of Rolife book books are reduced on Amazon. Not a huge reduction but this is a lovely kit for teens

Has anyone had problems with Valentte? I made quite a large purchase based on recommendations, but found that I didn't like the scents so returned in October under their 90-day guarantee. I'm having a heck of a job getting my refund. Customer service is non existent, 'phones and emails are not being answered. It took a poor Trust Pilot review to get a response from them with promises of a refund last week and it still hasn't been issued. It's £85 I need back in my account.

Still haven't had my Dean's order from 5th November yet either - but hopefully that will arrive beginning of December.

The fragrance shop are running a free Barbour bag with purchase of certain Barbour fragrances. It looks like a very nice bag and would be a great gift.

I was browsing the italian amazon earlier and it featured the shitting flamingo in the recommended BF deals... and they would deliver to the UK if anyone is still desperately looking for one

@slipperypenguin from the last thread, my family love Ticket to Ride. We had the junior version, and now grown in to the general one. You can getnso many different countries to travel round as well, so we'll add to the collection eventually.

Mandarina33 · 21/11/2025 11:00

Also if anyone else was disappointed with the Clarins 20% off BF offer, Boots has a few items and sets with the same 20% off but an additional 10% off with FREEZE10 code, plus you may stack with some advantage card offers and free delivery. I ended up buying what I wanted from Boots as it was better value than the Clarins website

Nuxe lip balm was welcome. Maybe a nice lunch box so she can pack her own snacks. Chemo can affect taste and hospital food may not be palatable.

FortnumsWeddingBreakfastTeaPlease · 21/11/2025 11:14

Tis I, still desperately seeking Sherbet (the shitting flamingo)

Still no luck. The Italian version above, whilst a fiver cheaper than previously found, is still £45 delivered to the UK, and I can not bring myself to pay that amount for something I know will be a one trick wonder.

Damn you littlest DS and your terrible taste.

I'm going to keep searching, there's got to be one somewhere...

keepincool · 21/11/2025 11:14

Talisin · 21/11/2025 11:00

Yay for the shitting flamingo finally making it to Headliner status!😄

Elizabeth Scarlett have an up to 25% off on everything. I still suspect there’ll be better for actual BF/CM though.

Nikura have their little Misti diffuser with 5 festive oils for £36.99 which is an absolute bargain - their oils are really lovely.

I second the Nikura recommendation - I have 2 misti's now, both purchased on offer, and the 'designer' oil scents are amazing. The Snow Pixie one is lovely for this time of year. I prefer the Nikura scents to my Neom ones.

This looks perfect for SIL thank you!
By any chance can anyone recommend any of the ladies fragrances?

hugsandpugs · 21/11/2025 11:22

My Celtic and co gloves arrived this morning and are lovely, thanks to the person who put up the £20 off code x

CalliopePlantain · 21/11/2025 11:24

Fahlo animal tracking bracelets are 5 for £45 - I know a few were waiting for an offer.

code is BUYFIVE

nothingtoseehereatall · 21/11/2025 11:24

M&S has 25% on Topcashback on Flowers today (18% on hampers and various lower % for other stuff)

Lindt also has offers on there today, including £76 if you spend over £1000 on Lindt, and who doesn't do that every year? 😜

What ages would you say these are suitable for?

Streetcornerchoir · 21/11/2025 11:33

Quidco have a £7.50 bonus on any brand today when you spend £25! Seems a really good deal if you can opt in on time.

I’ve stuck my referral on the board for anyone that’s not yet a member 😌

Maybe the cashmere wrist warmers/fingerless gloves and/or some fluffy socks, as hospitals can be cold. Or even a big square soft woolen scarf that can double up as a blanket when sitting in the chair during treatment.

Best wishes for your mum.

Now, bear with me as this is about to get pretty niche…
I have a baked bean fan in my life and have set about making my own baked bean advent calendar for them this year.

Heinz 6 pack (200g) are currently on offer on Amazon from £4.25 down to £3.26, plus 74p off when you buy any 2 and 5% off when you buy any 4, meaning you could get 24 x 200g tins (usually £1 each in supermarkets, sometimes 2 for £1.50) for £10.91 or £10.26 if you S&S and then cancel.

To make it even cheaper (and add that critical element of advent calendar jeopardy) you could go for 2 of the above plus intersperse with some supermarket own brand (typically 24 or 25p each), costing you £8.78 (…plus your own sanity).

Note, these are the smaller tins rather than full size.

Right! Off I go to carve some doors out of a cardboard box… 😳

Not sure if that has already been me too ed. But for for those looking for Yotos (normal and mini) Smyth's have 20% off and then a further £5 it you spend over £50, £10 off if you spend over £100. I picked up some other offers so my yoto cost me £63.

tabbycat985 · 21/11/2025 11:58

I’ve just made my first TikTok shop purchase & it gave me £6 off & free shipping which made Cryptic Killers just under £11!
