1000 replies

RainbowZebraWarrior · 21/11/2025 10:39

Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

Notino have some good deals on fragrances etc.
They also have a "freebies" page on the website listing all the different gifts available from the various brands.
They also do sample size sets which are good for teens for £5-£10

WannaBeOrganised · 21/11/2025 12:06

I may have missed it, but I can't find the book nook offer from the previous threat...can anyone point me in the right direction?

Wowsersbrowsers · 21/11/2025 12:10

Few tonies headphones in tk maxx and figures for £9.99.

Also spotted mystery boxes on budgie smugglers that is good for wild swimmers. Normally £60 but £20 if you don't mind a mystery swimsuit (other types of clothing available too).

Ticket to ride - we've always found Europe to be the best option. Suitable for kids too.

The Real Techniques make up brush set is currently £2.36 on Amazon Haul. £10 off £20 spend.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 21/11/2025 12:15

@WannaBeorganised I can't help with the original post you've seen sorry. But Hobbycraft had 25% off Book Nooks yesterday. I was shopping instore, but was told its online too.

WannaBeOrganised · 21/11/2025 12:18

Answering my own question here, but I found the book nook. Still with 50% voucher, but weirdly only when I followed the link on here and not when I searched for it on the amazon app (that only gave me £9 off)

https://amzn.eu/d/fB7Df4k

I also had this in my not logged in basket, 53% off (£3.79)

M&S has 25% on Topcashback on Flowers today (18% on hampers and various lower % for other stuff)

Lindt also has offers on there today, including £76 if you spend over £1000 on Lindt, and who doesn't do that every year? 😜

Some little bastard cloned my credit card one year and tried spending that at Lindt!

shash1982 · 21/11/2025 12:24

It's not coming up for me (I originally had it in my basket bit it was removed a few days ago as I assume it sold out) is there any chance you could link for me please?

@stepfordwifey sorry about your mum and hope the next few weeks are as easy as possible on her. Someone put me on to the website Not Another Bunch of Flowers when my mam was having chemo. I'm pretty sure it was started just with gift ideas for people with cancer but it looks like they have all kinds of gifts now.. anyway the link takes you to the special section. They look like gift boxes only but a browse of the contents might give you an idea of things you could pick up elsewhere. My mam liked ginger sweets as they stop you feeling as sick with the chemo.

Cancer Care Packages

Browse our cancer care gifts, handpicked based on our own experiences, or build a care package and fill with your selection of gifts. All gifts can be sent to you to give in person, or lovingly wrapped and sent to the recipient with a handwritten messa...

Now, bear with me as this is about to get pretty niche…
I have a baked bean fan in my life and have set about making my own baked bean advent calendar for them this year.

Heinz 6 pack (200g) are currently on offer on Amazon from £4.25 down to £3.26, plus 74p off when you buy any 2 and 5% off when you buy any 4, meaning you could get 24 x 200g tins (usually £1 each in supermarkets, sometimes 2 for £1.50) for £10.91 or £10.26 if you S&S and then cancel.

To make it even cheaper (and add that critical element of advent calendar jeopardy) you could go for 2 of the above plus intersperse with some supermarket own brand (typically 24 or 25p each), costing you £8.78 (…plus your own sanity).

Note, these are the smaller tins rather than full size.

Right! Off I go to carve some doors out of a cardboard box… 😳

This is amazing! Great dedication to the bean.

Saw this in a shop recently that your bean fan might enjoy

Returning to the happiest corner of MN for another request for advice please! I received such great advice when I asked about Thomas the tank engine trains for DS 😍 I hope some of you will oblige me again!

I need to buy a gift for DNiece, she’s coming up to 5 now and I’ve been told she likes Barbies. (She’s a lovely little girl, but we don’t see her very often unfortunately).

I’ve seen some good deals in the BF sales and am thinking of getting her either a Barbie vet play set or Barbie Skipper babysitter play set. The vet play set comes with some little animals and accessories and the babysitter play set comes with Barbie baby dolls and a cot etc. Anybody with DC a similar age - what do you think they’d prefer, or are neither very good ideas?? Any better suggestions or good deals spotted? I also saw a Barbie scientist play set but I fear thats appealing to me through my adult & slightly geeky eyes and she might not actually like it quite as much 😂

Thanks in advance to anybody that has any suggestions ❤️

For anyone that missed amazon barbie dreamhouse I notice Very have matched the 126.99. Smyths is down to 136.99 but you can use the £10 off deal to price match.
Also assuming everyone knows already about the Asda £20 off £40 spend online orders for new customers but just checking!

I second the Nikura recommendation - I have 2 misti's now, both purchased on offer, and the 'designer' oil scents are amazing. The Snow Pixie one is lovely for this time of year. I prefer the Nikura scents to my Neom ones.

Just adding my agreement to this.

I bought a load of oils from Nikura at the end of October and Royal Mail lost the parcel. One quick email to Nikura and they promptly despatched a duplicate order for me. Brilliant customer service. I've used them for years, but briefly went elsewhere and now I will be sticking with them. Their £2 Tuesdays are incredible value.

Does anyone know of any discount codes for Plum Play please? (Outdoor play equipment). I have a 10% off one but annoyingly the particular item I want was cheaper a couple of weeks ago before the black Friday "sale". Thanks

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior ! I am loving these threads so much - relative newcomer to them and I tend to look during the day and not during weekend. I need to employ a thread butler to track those busy periods for me ;)

Thanks to Camel I got a Kindle yesterday from Amazon. Not a Xmas present but for my mum who has just been diagnosed with cancer. It's a bit niche I know but with her about to undergo weeks and weeks of chemo, if anyone has any suggestions for Xmas presents that might give be appropriate let me know.

Meanwhile I have given up hope that there will be any discounts on Switch 2 so browsing TopCashBack in the hope I can get it somewhere which will offer a bit back.

Lastly, by way of only offering so far today, lots of Rolife book books are reduced on Amazon. Not a huge reduction but this is a lovely kit for teens

We got my Grandma a sheepskin rug to sit/lie on. It was always warm and very soft so when she was sore and achy it was more gentle on her skin and joints and could be easily transferred from bed to couch and further afield to hospital if need be. Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and New year together x

DirtyGertiefromno30 · 21/11/2025 13:08
