Other one seems to be filling up fast!

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread <a class="break-all" href="https://_[[//https//www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

Can anyone help find shoes like these for DD? Spotted on a friends floor, River Island, but clearly a long time ago! She says they’re her dream shoes! Size 7.

They look a lot like Mary Janes from Jones the Bootmaker. Loads on vinted

Edited

Those would be perfect if they fit! I’m half tempted…. Does anyone know if mint velvet shoes come up big or small? DD will occasionally steal my size 6 shoes so they could work if they’re a larger 6?

Long shot I know, but does anyone have a discount code for the LFC store. I need to buy shirts and they are more expensive than I thought!

If anyone you know if a member of LFC members usually get 20% off merchandise

Do you have a link please to save me having to scroll back and find?

Not the OP but it’s this one it’s not cheap at the moment though

Arregaithel · 02/10/2025 16:22

@Ohladear & @44PumpLane

it does have a code to save 30% at checkout which takes it from £18.99 down to £13.29.

A while ago I mentioned the Superseconds Festival, which will be on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
I also wrote that it can be worth signing up to the mailing lists for certain sellers, because you might be sent discount codes or early access to their superseconds stock.

While checking some out today, I find that the sales have already started for some sellers, no code needed. Some have a "Superseconds" tab, click it and the items are already available to buy.

There are lots of printmakers for cards and pictures, etc and ceramicists where the postage is quite significant, probably because their stock can cost a lot to post.

Oh what fun it is to...use the WATCH button instead of posting a non-bargain just to placemark. And don't forget the THANKS button and the existence of Google. I wish the bargain thread were mostly about bargains. I don't care if that makes me a grinch.

Sasha07 · 04/10/2025 09:23

They aren't placemarking. It's usually a bit of fun just to fill an old thread up.

I know. I'm talking about placemarking on the new thread and making posts that gill up the thread but aren't actual bargains. I waited until this 'dead zone' part of the thread to have a whinge. But I do appreciate your friendly response (that's not sarcasm).

The watch function is really glitchy and doesn’t always come up in notifications. On a thread like o don’t want to miss out and will pl e mark post sorry @Cowhen . I do try to make it part of the chat than just a full stop though.
