Posting on behalf of @Reastie as I'm guessing she's busy and the last thread was almost full.

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) Unless they've updated it, the copy we had included Aung San Suu Kyi and Coy Mathis (another male taking up women's space (in a book about women aimed at girls) who must be a girl because he likes pink things).

@IAmLadyWhistledown We used the new customer 20% discount for credit account for our switch as it works out best even after black Friday. Paid in full by PayPal immediately as I don't do credit. Its a great time to get a switch though, the games should be plummeting in price now that the new version is out. We also buy physical cartridge games on eBay, ds6 doesn't care that they're not still in plastic, and a lot are so much cheaper there :)

@IAmLadyWhistledown Oh no, i ordered last year maybe and it was ok then? I got a mario kart bundle, maybe try a bundle? It was a proper bargain though, they could have caught on.

The Works have got their 3 for £15 offer on, instead of the 2 for £12. Not sure if it’s online but it’s certainly in store. Some good bits and pieces.

I’m finding Whistlefish quite frustrating.

Their cards and wrap are lovely, but:

  • I wanted to buy several of their keepsake boxes to use as gift boxes, but they are restricted to 3 per order for some reason. Well, I’m not going to place a new order with £3.75 postage, on top of the order i just placed.
  • Anmoyjngly, those keepsake boxes are exactly 1cm too small to be able to be used to store the wrapping paper 🙄
  • I got caught out last year by them blazoning their logo prominently across everything, even when it’s shown without the logo in the photos. Last years mistakes were gift tins and tea towels.

If the promotion you saw doesn’t specify the exclusion of consoles, it’s worth phoning (rather than messaging) them and politely and patiently asking them to honor it.

A couple of years ago I ordered a MacBook. It was already in a Black Friday 10% off offer and Apple products were supposed to be excluded from other offers, but they forgot to put that in the Ts&Cs, so I persuaded them to honor the discount, plus 20% off for new credit account, plus the 10% cashback for new account that was on topcashback at the time.

It might not work, but if you don’t ask you don’t get.

If that fails, look out for cashback offers through Topcashback, Quidco, Rakuten etc.

Try changing your postage option down one. It defaults to DPD delivery

I have the standard boot buddy for cleaning muddy trail shoes and it works really well. I dont have the heated one though.
