These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Might be worth being aware that I've not found Sainsburys particularly good at actually paying cashback so don't rely on it. It might just be me!

Popped into my local WHSmith today. They had the single relations type Christmas cards- Mum & Dad, Nan, Son, Daughter, Husband etc at 75% off.

Thought I'd try the 25% off cards reduction card too (the little business card sized one they hand out all year round.) It did work, and reduced them even further!

I think its topcashback. I never seem to get anything paid back with them. Same shops with quidco and I get cashback no problem

I have approx 10 million parties (slight exaggeration) that my DD has been invited to already this year (4yo), I was hoping to pick up a bunch of the 3.99 craft boxes like the attached from home bargains for gifts but looks like they are out of stock now 😭 if anyone has seen them anywhere or something similar at a bargain price please shout

Scrabble is down to £7.99 on Amazon. I wanted it before Christmas but it was expensive.

Lots more bits in Sainsbury’s down to pennies. Worth a look if you are in anyway as they are hidden away on various shelves along with the non-Christmas stock. e.g. the coffee pods were just on a shelf with the non-reduced ones. All were showing a higher price on the shelf but scanning at less:

-Large boxes of biscuits for cheese 45p
-Christmas bourbon biscuits 6p
-Big tubs of mini cheddars 25p
-My personal favourite - hazelnut flavoured Nespresso-style coffee pods 25p
-Hot water bottle 30p

There are some good prices ORIGINS gift sets at Boots. Earch for Origins gift set. I'm not sure why the second one that comes up has a stated 'value' is lower than the first. It contains an eye cream which is usually about £30 alone.

We just got some big tubs of twiglets from Sainsbury's for 25p each too 😋

Hi, just been rl shopping and The White Company has some great reductions on cashmere, cotton and woolly jumpers.

They are giving an extra 10% off this weekend.

There were also discounted Xmas skincare crackers, candles and decorations instore and some adorable baby things.

Also, check JL rewards. They have given me another £10 skincare reward with min spend of £10!

Xmas Eve boxes in Asda for 20p!

ALDI:

2026 date ‘posh’ cranberry sauce: 29p, ‘ordinary’: 19p.
Cranberry sauce flavoured mayo: 19p - got some to try.
Apple or marzipan Stollen Bites: 29p.

I went to buy the Charli xcx brat hoodie for myself and it randomly had 20% off at the checkout.
I can't find any mention of 20% off selected items on the website so I'm not sure what else is included!

So jealous of all these supermarket bargains people are finding. Absolutely nothing in mine each time I've been. Very disappointed!

Giant boxes of cheese biscuits for 20p in my local Tesco today, and giant slabs of Dairy Milk Mint for £1.25

Nothing in mine either. Made a special trip out to Sainsburys today and there was no Christmas stock at all. Gutted. I was intending buying loads of mini cheddars and eating them all immediately 😄

Lots of 3m and 4m rolls of Christmas wrapping paper in my small local Sainsbury’s today for 25p. I hadn’t thought they would have anything- very pleasant surprise but one pattern (with a 25p label on the box) was still scanning at £2.50 (assistant seemed to think the higher price was correct) so that’s something to watch out for

I got a bottle of the M&S snow globe clementine gin for £6 today. Couldn't see any other clearance items.

Nothing in mine either. Harrumph.

The January sale started today at Books For Bugs although the postage is a bit steep. The whole site is reasonable prices though even not in the sale and some books turn up.you might not see in shops.
