These tend to run slower than the run up to Christmas ones but doesn't mean there are no bargains!

Looking for any very cheap wrapping paper (birthday and Christmas) and gift bags (birthday and Christmas) for very cheap?

It’s a long shot I know but if anyone sees the M&S Christmas is coming projection tins still around can you let me know please? Every time I give up searching different stores, I see someone else manages to get one somewhere. It’s for a relative that never asks for anything until now!

YASSSSS I'm here for 2025 prep! 😍🤩 Got so organised last year with these threads. No bargains as of yet - I'm out of the country so haven't done my usual mooching for 25p wrap 😉

@ChristmasMad1 keep checking on next sale. I got a 15m roll, pack of three 3m rolls and have more on order plus some marbled gift bags fingers crossed. I pick some up from an independent store today - really posh sheets of wrap at £1 a sheet (50% off) plus an extra pound off sale prices, birthday appropriate, Seasalt cute jute bag.

For the first time ever I did the most bargainous thing of all, which was to take a stock check.

I have plenty of wrapping paper, including the nice Whistlefish ones that are on the way. I have stocked up on tags from M&S and Sainsbury’s clearance. I have crackers from Sainsbury’s clearance today (but still need to get things to put in them). I have Xmas PJs from Next sale. I have a White Stuff sock advent from the sale that DH and the DSs can share and will get chocolate ones in November to go alongside. And I have some stocking fillers which I got in Claire’s sale, so must archive the Gift List App lists so I can keep track.

If only I could stay this organised all through the year!

Everything £5 are doing crazy deals on makeup /hair /jewellery (25 items for £25). Tempted to stock up for next years stocking fillers?

I got the 50 items for £40 and took advantage of a cashback offer at the time.

Very pleased with most of them. A few duds that wouldn’t get used which have gone to our community reuse initiative, but some really good items.

I was most impressed with the make up organiser, the nail scissors, the tweezer sets, the eye palettes, the round lip balms, the eye pencils, and the sparkly hair clips.

Flying Tiger have lots of Christmas gifts, mugs, decorations etc half price as well as very cheap wrapping paper, tags etc. The wrapping paper was mentioned by a pp on the Christmas thread which is why I went in - thank you to them - but I also got some presents for next year too!

My partner picked me up a ton of birthday paper in Asda for 25p this week if that helps.

I've missed you all😂 I clocked out of the Christmas threads early as I couldn't fit another thing in my present stash, had a huge amount to donate to our local toy drive which was lovely!
The Works have a fantastic sale online & in-store,
Poundland had everything well reduced when I went today, reed diffuser & candle set for £1, Elf sleeping bag was 50p & paint your own ornaments 25p.
I also got a 12 pack of ink stampers for 30p & a pack of cookie cutters for 25p

Has anyone seen any Lego advent calendars reduced?

Tesco wrapping paper was 45p a roll today including the 8m children’s designs . I know it normally ends up cheaper than that , but I was there today and stocks were dwindling in my local .

Also I finally ordered an Isle of Skye candle from their sale to try , free delivery and people have put £5 referral codes on the referral thread , so £3.70 delivered for a winter spice travel tin one .

Yes @tabbycat985, there are a few Lego advent calendars reduced at Argos. If you do delivery to a local Sainsbury’s or similar it’s free.

Do you know if the calendars are marked with the date? So if I bought one would it have 2024 written all over it?

No there’s no date on them so unless your child is after a specific one you could get a bargain.
