The Winter Warmer travel tin candle is gorgeous and they are much bigger than I thought. At least twice the size of Neom travel candles. I've ordered 7 more to put away for next year (half for me and half for gifts)

My local Asda had wrapping paper reduced to 25p and 38p today plus also Christmas gift bags 25p each, packs of 4 different sized gift bags £1.

Also lots of electricals like kettles, toasters, shavers were reduced and I got a Remington One Step for £38

I bought some make your own decorations from Asda yesterday for 25p. Only 3 cardboard characters in a pack with different coloured dot stickers but i thought it could be a gift from the elf and keep son busy for 10 mins!
Also a cardboard Santa's workshop for 38p. Very small once I've looked at it but again, nice little crafty activity as one side is coloured and the other black and white for colouring in.
Also packs of red tissue paper in Asda down to 25p.

Had a nosey in Boots today and was very disappointed. And since when was wrapping paper in there so expensive, I was shocked at one roll for £5!!! Maybe that's because I usually stock up in the bargainous sales?!

Thank you to the OP who said about the regatta sale. Picked up sons school coat today and am pleased with it! I'd read to size up so it looks very big but I've bought it for next winter anyway, bargain at £16. Usually get him one from the Next sale so it's nice to have a change. Padded, warm and properly waterproof (not water resistant!) perfect school coat thank you!

That was me - glad it was helpful as I rarely have any good bargains to offer.

I managed to pick up a 53p jar of red cabbage in M&S yesterday which please DH (the only one who likes it) and a very reduced box of biscuits for cheese - but I then had to buy some nice cheese at non-bargainous prices to go with it so maybe not such a win......

Does anyone know when Photobox is likely to do its next discount offers on photobooks?

I noticed in the works, Christmas planner for £1
I was going to buy one for myself but didn't as I usually put everything on my phone. Now thinking I should have bought one as I do prefer pen and paper!

Thanks @User236792 & @sunshineandrain82 but I must remember to check them out on Boxing Day next year as they're all showing as out of stock for me (apart from the Princess one that I'm not really after)
But after a browse on Argos I managed to add a few bargains to my basket anyway😅

I've not done too bad in the sales
Wrapping paper 45p & crackers £1.35 both Tesco. Was hoping for the bargain grinch socks but no joy in the 2 tescos I went to.
Aldi had some nice cat sewing kits £1.49 each
I've got a few bits from boots for the kids...bubble baths, make up brushes, a real techniques make up sponge set, some sock sets, ted baker set for DH.

River island had a nice sale. Didn't get anything but had some nice bits I thought.

I need to not buy too much too early this year. My girls got far too much 😬

I actually ran out of wrapping paper/cards after years of stocking up in the Paperchase Jan sales. The brand in Tesco is nowhere near as good. Waitrose had all their 4m rolls at 50p so I replenished my supply.
