I am very fussy about wrapping paper and the only one I found I liked this year is out of stock, it was a double sided Dunelm one

I haven't found another I even remotely like. I love wrapping and using ribbon to make it all look amazing.

Strawberry Thief paper from Waterstones, olive green velvet ribbon and burgundy tags. Stockings and the presents for dc get wrapped in cheap, garish wrapping paper, a different colour for each so no need for gift tags

@AndThereSheGoes oh wow, I wouldn't want to open it! Gorgeous

DirtyBlonde · 03/12/2024 10:45

I shall firstly be using up the paper I saved from last year.

I've also bought one new roll, which is deep blue with gold spots ie it's multiuse - looks nice and festive, but isn't overtly Christmassy, so can continue in use for birthdays

https://sostrenegrene.com/en-gb/products/christmas/christmas-wrapping-paper-c-8640 Basically just everything from Sostrene Grene. Their gift bags and tags are great, and the paper isn't garish.

This year's Christmas theme is floral so I like their wrapping

This is so beautiful! I love velvet ribbon and the green is just beautiful!

Edited to say I really should try and expand my vocabulary beyond beautiful

@ElvenElf . That is lovely, but our family tend to stick to reds, golds and greens for Christmas for some reason. DBro choose to wrap his gifts in white/silver sparkly paper last year and that was viewed as a controversial choice 😂.

Love this but would need to remortgage the house...

Haha yes I keep being drawn back to traditional colours.
Silver and white would not look right under the tree. I hope he was banished for his crime!

No, but my mother did comment "what an unusual choice, it looks quite minimalist". She is not a fan of minimalism 😂.

Really it was lovely paper and quite Christmassy. I didn't ask where it came from but something like this (excuse for another picture)...

That's lovely!

This! I scooped up several rolls as soon as I saw it (I usually hum and ahhh about it for ages first)

I used newspaper (not any coloured bits!) and lots of different coloured ribbon one year - it looked fabulous with all the presents piled under the tree

Always used to get mine from paper chase , finished that supply now
Need to find something else

That reversible paper is lovely and such a good idea

I did get some animal themed from the British garden centre

Paperchase is in Tesco now!

Busydoinnuthin · 03/12/2024 16:02

Brown paper packages tied up with string!

Cocolapew · 03/12/2024 16:08

I was looking a different coloured Kraft paper on ebay.

CitiesInDust · 03/12/2024 16:29

I like this, but I want rolls not sheets amzn.to/3OAIr8D

McMcMc · 03/12/2024 16:33

They have some nice recycled brown paper with holly print on in Flying Tiger this year.

Tapthisscreen · 03/12/2024 16:55

Looks like the dunelm one is available in some stores if you can get to another easily.

mimbleandlittlemy · 03/12/2024 17:46

I have some cheery stuff from M&S with dogs on it from last year for wrapping young children's presents, then went with a roll of this from Cox & Cox when they did a 20% off offer earlier in the autumn. Looks lovely with lots of different coloured ribbon, it's recycled, recyclable, and there's plenty on a roll for my family needs:

Bought a load of self seal Christmas bags with tags, paper gets ripped in seconds and ends up in a bin bag. For the kids things we have cheap paper of whatever we find. I’m not precious about presentation and I hate wrapping. Waste of bloody time when you don’t have enough hours in the day.

TaterTots68 · 03/12/2024 18:27

We always buy it from Lidl. It's a quid for a big roll and it's pretty strong

Olderbutt · 03/12/2024 18:31

EveryOtherNameTaken · 02/12/2024 17:42

A bit off the thread, but did anybody buy that glittery reindeer one from Tesco a few years ago that was basically a glitter bomb equivalent?

It had so much glitter you could hardly tape presents up and I had glitter for months afterwards everywhere!

Recycling companies were fuming as everyone tried to put it with paper/card Recycling which rendered everything else in the bins not recyclable.

It was very pretty though ...

Yes i had that paper too! I feel your pain but as you say it was pretty.
