@NobodyGivesADamn thanks for the title

Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It's a lovely, friendly bunch and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for building such a warm, fuzzy and generous spot on mn. I know I've save so much over the years and am so grateful to all of you for sharing.

Pull up a sleigh and relax with a mulled wine and mince pie, for Christmas has nearly arrived!

@ me if you need anything or you want to let me know anything - the thread moves so fast I can't always keep up so this really helps

A few pointers to make everyone’s life easier and the thread be as useful as possible:

  • It’s handy to put in bold the bargains so they’re easy to spot
  • No affiliate links
  • No need to place mark or post messages of hello or thanks at the start of a new thread - use the ‘watch thread’ button
  • Be nice or leave

The current referral thread for sharing referral codes https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/4940918-4940918-bargain-referrals-thread-6 . Please use this rather than this page to share referral links to make the sharing fair.

To make clicks links, you set it up like this only without any spaces apart from between the website and the word(s) you’re writing: www.bargainsahoyeveryonecomehere.co.uk

Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for the instructions below.
To make something bold, put this star * either side of the word you want to bold (with no spaces in between)

So starhellostar would look like this.

hello

Obviously use the * not the word star

Some of the below is copied and pasted from previous years, so do @ me if the links don't work

I was looking at Christy's robes for my mum and step dad - I got them 30% off as it's the Halloween sale, then another 15% using the code JUSTFORYOU15. So they were £40.63 each with another £10.20 for the personalisation. I got DH one last year and they are lovely :)

I can second Christy's bathrobes. I used to get my Dad a dressing gown every couple of years. Then I got a Christy's one with free Monogramming from Fenwick. That was 20 years ago and it's still going strong!

Also, @Sideorderofchips cutest thread baby! ❤️

Last year I got the velvetiser glitch & liken it to the euphoria that comes with Nespresso. Deal!
I did try to get £29 deal but it kept saying £59. Enjoy all the coffees- probably healthier than velvetiser!’

L'Occitane is free standard delivery for orders before midnight and also 10% on Top Cashback. 10% off for email sign up too and if you have Blue Light there's a free gift with spends of £30+ which may or may not stack with email % off

No guarantee cash back will track with a code but worth a go

user47 · 31/10/2024 20:04

The robe was for @YeahWellWhyNot They are great!

YeahWellWhyNot · 31/10/2024 20:05

Thank you @user47 I'm off to browse...

TryingToHelpBut · 31/10/2024 20:15

Interestingly enough, my mum got adult DD a Nespresso machine a couple of years ago and she definitely didn't pay £59. So while it might not go as low (especially if there were free pods) I'm pretty sure it will go down again - maybe Black Friday? For those who missed out. It's pretty expensive coffee though as someone else mentioned. I might try the converter thing myself.

Thank you very much for this. I've hankered after Chelsea Peers pyjamas for some time and now have two pairs on their way to me.

The Nespresso subscription card is inside the big box of pods (at the bottom) in case anyone else is looking 🥰

Thanks so much @HulahoopsBBQbeef 🎄🥳

Trainstrike · 31/10/2024 20:51

£10 off a £50 spend at Character.com - we love them for pyjamas, dressing gowns and merch for lesser known kids cartoons. They also do more comfortable fancy dress princess outfits.

PurpleSkittle · 31/10/2024 21:05

@dramalamma is the cheap glitch price on the Lego Buckbeak only for people who are Sainsbury's members or will it scan at the lower price at the tills for everyone, do you know? Just wondering if it's worth a trip to my local store just in case they still have some...

Hedjwitch · 31/10/2024 21:10

Would appreciate any help, I can't find the previous thread with the Plouise lip set offer. Does anyone know if it is finished?
