@VeryHungrySeaCucumber That sounds like a lovely idea! May try and do the same.

Everything£5 on facebook is very good , every day new items are added so worth asking for a daily update . Some clothing is a wee bit far out , but I've had some great bargains from recognisable names . . A few items are now a few pounds dearer , but always clearly marked so you know ,and still a real bargain.

Has anyone tried ordering from Clarks recently. They have some boots I like and it says 20% off boots with a code (on the website and next to the boots) but I can't get the code to work. I've tried several boots and it doesn't seem to work on any. I can't work out if I'm being stupid or if it's just not working!

sorryiasked · 13/01/2024 14:10

@Roserunner won't work for me either

Roserunner · 13/01/2024 14:15

@ssorryiasked thanks I'm glad it's not me! I may pop into our local Clarks and see if they have them as it says online and in store.

hby9628 · 13/01/2024 14:36

Real life shopping today. Some good bits in river island and they have an extra 20% off sale prices. M&S had loads of Xmas pjs and oodies on sale, accessorise had lots of jewellery with 70% off.

Wouldn't last until Christmas as boba pearls have approx 6 months shelf life, but Bubble Panda have final reductions on their christmas boba kits. 2 Kits for £15 but if you sign up you get an extra 10% off making them £13.50 for 2. Free delivery over £25. Each kit does 4 large or 8 small drinks.

My kids adore boba and it's £7 at the nearest store for one drink, I'm thinking its good for a treat, or over school holidays.

nicky2512 · 13/01/2024 16:57

Thanks @psuedocream3 for the Bubble Panda offer. Dd loves bubble tea. Have ordered for her as a wee treat.

I've asked for a discount when buying shoes in a phone order before. I think they gave me 20 per cent off, because I asked.

Boots have boss collection aftershave 100mls for £18.
Seems to be sold out online but I picked one up in store

Anyone interested in Yankee Candle bargains, George at Asda has large candles in 5 different scents for £11 each. Free click and collect, or (from) £3:50 for standard delivery.

Their full-priced large Yankee Candles are £15.97 rather than £30 on the Yankee Candle site and elsewhere.

Asda have some nice little games in store, they’re in the style of Orchard Games. They had an animal lotto one and shopping list style game.

boobybum · 14/01/2024 13:48

SZ70E-RMIP-UB9B for 15% off homeware at Matalan. Ends 15th January and hopefully it’s not account specific.

Cuwins · 14/01/2024 15:13

If anyone sees any of the playmobil 123 range on offer anywhere please let me know. My daughter got the park set for Christmas and loved it so I would like to add to it for her birthday.

Yellowshark · 14/01/2024 16:05

Can anyone recommend some good quality adult colouring books or brands please?

Cuwins · 14/01/2024 17:22

Thanks. I had missed the merry go round. That's perfect

Someaddedsugar · 14/01/2024 19:28

Has anyone seen any bargains that would be suitable for a 6 year old girl? I'm on a massive budget mission this year so don't want to spend a fortune. I had a look in Claire's in-store sale but couldn't spot anything there...

Oh Those harumika sets look great. What age are they aimed at? I have a very "young" niece who will be 11 in July is this too young for her? I don't have girls that age so no idea. Or is there a more grown up equivalent?
