Hi everyone, I have started a new thread, but just wondered if any of my fellow Xmas bargain lovers had any issues with the Fossil orders we all made before Christmas? They've taken money from my bank and can't tell me what for and I'm struggling to get a refund. I know someone said they'd received any empty box from Fossil.

@XmasShoppingsister I ordered a bag from Fossil in the sale before Christmas it came promptly with no issues.

These sets are down to 10p in my local asda.

Good morning! Long time follower of these threads, they made such a difference to my Christmas shopping this (last!) Year so big thanks to all who took the time to post their bargains!

I managed to get some lovely jewellery in the White Stuff sale last night at 70% off along with some warm winter socks for £4 a pair which will be put away for gifts. I was also in search of some warm leggings for DD for preschool and Blade & Rose have some reduced along with a free bobble hat worth £12 when you spend over £10 with code hat10. Managed to pick up some lovely leggings, two pairs of socks for baby DS, a lovely warm hat all for £14.95 including delivery.

Boots have 10% off 'almost everything' when you spend £50 with code SAVE10 - I rarely order from them now though as their website is so terrible

I found this with Boots so I downloaded their app and it's actually okay! So I'm def less put off

@Beckafett do you use TopCashBack? I tried the app but TCB kept saying it wouldn't work with the app, so that put me off. The app was pretty terrible anyway at the time so not much loss

Groupon are doing 5 Vue cinema tickets for £22 here - unfortunately we aren't very near to any Vue cinemas so any savings would probably be wiped out by the cost of getting there!

Thanks for pointing that out @XmasShoppingsister . I returned 2 orders which I can see were delivered back to them on 3rd Jan. The £20 order has been refunded. The £300 order hasn’t! I will chase up with them.

I almost ordered from them myself as my sister is a big Fossil fan, but I am glad I didn’t as they are behaving very poorly.

@fishfingersandchipsagain Oh wow £300 is a lot! I really hope you can get it back. In one of my many phone calls to Fossil, one agent did tell me there is a known issue with refunds in the UK at the moment and their finance department are working on it.

My experience with Fossil has been positive UNLESS you need to contact Customer Services for something... then they are shocking. The reviews on trustpilot are awful.

Not really christmassy but TEFAL have a 20% off sale across their site with code JANUARY. I just got the brilliant Easysoup soupmaker for £103.99 instead of £129.99. I had already bought one previously for DD3 who uses it all winter and has done for several years - this one's for vegan DD2 who makes a lot of soup and I think will love it. Really pleased with that saving.

Some little Christmas Burts Bees duo sets are available with lots off at Ocado and Amazon. They'll keep.

Their website is indeed terrible in my up-to-date and not unusual browser, couldn't book a flu jab as couldn't access some of the questions this year due to weird formatting issues, and it won't load up more than the first page of gifts so if there are more than double the max per page, you can only see the X cheapest and Y most expensive.

I haven't joined this thread before although I've been aware of it, so thanks to everyone! Should be fun. Someone I did a 12-days-of-Christmas for really liked it this time, and with all the leftover stickers and bags and a few little gifts I put away and then couldn't find in time, I'm thinking of doing more 12 and 24-day sets for next year. The recipients are all over 18 so not toys, I can split multipacks such as Hotel Chocolat tipples, and it all needs to be light to post. I am hoping to get them all ready by November 1st and not really notice buying the actual presents with my normal shopping, in sales etc. So thanks for all the pointers.
