My DDs (10 and 12) loved the harumika sets on Xmas day, played with them all day long. Not sure of the longevity but for less than £5 as an extra on a whim I was delighted.

My oldest is nearly 10 and absolutely loves it, and so has every other child that’s seen it. It’s dressmaking without having to sew, and you can reuse the fabric over and over.

We played Snakesss at Xmas and can definitely recommend from 10 to 60 all enjoyed

I also got this for my DS for Christmas & he & DD both enjoyed it. It was on offer in Poundland before Christmas- think it was around £5 or £6

Jellycat amuseable candy cane 10cm £10.00 down from £20.00 at Fenwicks. It's unusual to see such a deep discount on Jellycat.

Also if anyone has those handheld scanners in Asda, the Claire's range all seems to be scanning much cheaper than the labels, I found this double pack for hand creams for my kids for school, might swap the creams out for hand sanitizer mind you😅 £12 down to £5

Gruum are doing one of their freebies again where you just pay postage via money saving expert. I can't link to it unfortunately. I am keeping my eye out for lots of Gruum offers this year. My DD was desperate for the Byoma set and she also had Gruum. She loves that more than Byoma!

@twonka it's been a while since I last bought LUSH products. I would say it's mainly just the bath bombs and bubble bars that lose fragrance and colour over time due to lack of packaging, although when you order online I believe they are wrapped in plastic. They are still fine to use but the colours may fade and not be as presentable. I've stuck with gift sets which aren't overly christmassy for birthday gifts and items that are bottled like snow fairy shower gel, lips scrubs etc to give for Christmas as those definitely do last.

Re Lush , the snow fairy for example that we bought at Christmas in December was made aug/Sept 23 and lasts until oct/nov 24 . Each bottle has a sticker on with these dates . The fragrance lasts longer in the bottles but glitter / colour fades . So be aware if you are giving the gift boxes next year the stickers inside will say the products are past the suggested use by dates . ( although still fine to use ). Bath bombs go off colour and must be kept out of damp conditions eg not left in a bathroom and are best used fresh , but still work ok for months.

Also the bath bombs I ordered online came in no extra packaging , not even a paper bag , just surrounded by the “foam stick” bits that they use within the cardboard box lush don’t use plastic to wrap.

@Theraffarian You can tell I haven't made an order in 10+ years! They used to package them in biodegradable plastic, but it's good to know it's changed now. I still have a santa scrub bar in it's plastic packaging from back then, very faded mind you.

My order has been shipped so can report back when it arrives.
