Thread 13 - the one with the loot from Black Friday | Mumsnet

13 - unlucky for some. Let's hope it's very lucky for us! I bought a couple of things in the Black Friday sales - an amazon stick (I'm pretty sure we...

Does anyone have any codes for Lakeland? 🙏

I have a 20% off a £50 or more spend if that’s any use?

Jessica60 · 02/12/2023 19:41

Could I have it please if not needed by the original requester . Thank you

MrsChristiesChristmasCake · 02/12/2023 19:42

Thanks @Talisin and @Kracken
I'm not spending that much though 🙂

grinchfest · 02/12/2023 19:55

Just name changed for Xmas but been on these threads a few years.
Almost finished my shop I just need 3 things and I'm skint now so need to make them as bargainous as possible!
I need a spicery kit so would really appreciate a discount code if there's any going around?

I would also like personalised books for 3 and 5 year old boys. Preferably something to do with superheroes.

Thanks in advance 🎄

clpsmum · 02/12/2023 19:56

@MayaTheBusyBee thank so much x

PlanBea · 02/12/2023 20:13

@Ashmonster I had some in my basket which I never checked out, so they emailed me the code EXPLOREMORE for free postage if that helps! Or code VALENINAMARVAL20 takes 20% off

WhereTheresAHill · 02/12/2023 20:16

I’m sure someone recommended this book a few years ago - down to £2.35 at the moment on Amazon

A while back, did someone recommend cheap tile/air-tag things? Possibly from one of the supermarkets?

I'd welcome any gift ideas around the £10 mark for a 4 year old girl please 🎁

I bought the "Pick a Pine" book recommended on here but would like something to go with it. Not long had a bday and I bought Lego.

A Christmas tree soft toy?

Darkbutstarrynight · 02/12/2023 20:27

@Grinchfest I have a spicery code , I will message it

Soscrewed · 02/12/2023 20:27

Ok, have found out the two lidl electric throw blankets I bought for £25 each are no longer wanted so I'm going to return them. I know others were keen to get them so I'd anyone is in the Edinburgh area and would like to buy them from me just drop me a PM.

Those looking for smores kits, you can also just buy the burner (chafing fuel- like this) and then buy your own marshmallows, chocolate and biscuits.

AxolotlEars · 02/12/2023 20:30

Does anyone else have a spicery code?

Apologies in advance for being cheeky, but I completely missed the Fahlo offer (thanks covid) and I know my dd would absolutely love a turtle one. If anyone has a spare one they don't want, please would you consider selling it to me? Ive had a look and the full price and postage is a bit too much right now. Really upset I missed the offer. As I said, I'm sorry for being a cheeky wotsit! Thanks.

I'm currently looking for a shark one for my DD. Just came across this turtle bracelet on Amazon Prime for 3 pound odd and thought I'd share in case it's any use to you.

ETA: They look identical to the Fahlo ones (I think you're just paying for the 'tracking' novelty with them tbh)

I’m pretty sure it was Poundland. I know I’ve seen them in there at anyrate.

grinchfest · 02/12/2023 20:51

Thank you @Darkbutstarrynight

Chocolateteabag · 02/12/2023 20:52

@MrsChristiesChristmasCake
If they already have sake cups you could get a tasting set - there are lots about but this one from Not on the high street will have 10% off with SMALLBIZ10 - plus I think NOTHS are in topcashback?

grinchfest · 02/12/2023 20:52

@AxolotlEars I'm just about to put mine on the referral thread.

grinchfest · 02/12/2023 20:55

@AxolotlEars I'll message you for ease.

Wonderful! I’ll give them a try. Thank you 😊

Lastminutebride · 02/12/2023 21:31

I really don’t need to buy anymore! I think going to have to save some presents for my daughters birthday.
I usually don’t shop online but seem to have bought loads more doing it online. Clearly spent too much time on this thread and browsing!

beansoup · 02/12/2023 21:36

Thank you for the Fossil codes - I've managed to nab a bracelet set for my daughter's birthday (thinking ahead) and some earrings for my Xmas gift from DH.

Think all my shopping is done now - I've loved following these threads :)

MammaGnomes · 02/12/2023 21:46

Has anyone seen any dog toy bargains?! It's our puppy's first Christmas and I've decided I'm going to be that doggo mum

Thelifeofawife · 02/12/2023 22:06

@MammaGnomes I am also that mum 😁
I usually get toys from either B&M or Jolleys. My dog has a Kong Cozie teddy that she has had for years which is her bedtime buddy (she also has tons of other teddies).
B&M is also great for jumpers & coats.

Some appreciated purchases have been a rubber Kong toy that you put peanut butter in and a snuffle mat what you hide treats in.

I also order my dog a Christmas treat box with cookies in.

Straysocks · 02/12/2023 22:07

Are there any discount vouchers around, the kind you would buy as a gift. There are 20% off a selection in Tesco but I'm looking for B&Q gift vouchers.

MammaGnomes · 02/12/2023 22:08

Thanks @Thelifeofawife he has a Kong and a snuffle mat, will check out B&M though, I used to work right next to one and would pop in all the time, but since leaving I always forget about it
