@Squ1ggle yes my fair lady. I got tickets to take my mum. It was brilliant

Ilovepugs2017 · 30/11/2023 19:52

For the person looking for aftershave for a teen boy - I’ve bought ckin2u for him for my boy. He’s had it previously and loves it so might be an idea for you. It’s been offer in a few places lately

HolliDays · 30/11/2023 20:04

Has anyone ever bought a mini projector and can you recommend it? I quite fancy lying in bed watching films on the ceiling....

welshgirl666 · 30/11/2023 20:06

I have a very random request - can anyone think of a good medium/large present for an 18 year old girl that isn't expensive? It's to bulk out her pile so it doesn't look so small compared to her brothers. 🙈
She has enough cushions, blankets, hoodies etc and I can't think what else to get.

Fairylightfurore · 30/11/2023 20:10

A slow cooker of she is at uni?

Does anyone please have an argos code by any chance? Thanks

OhThatHappenedWhatNow · 30/11/2023 20:21

Hello, I’m in need of some mini gift ideas for a beer pong game for female adults.

I’ve already bought some bits from hotel chocolat, laithwaites and some mini liquor chocolates along with some scratch cards. Still need at least 10 more ideas and I’m stumped!

Thanks @toprump for the link, at the time couldn't get it for less then £14.99 with the voucher but never mind 😊

Thinking back to an old thread- did someone want a moana doll? I spent 15 mins earlier today searching for the kids advent calendars and came across a bag of Disney animator dolls that I'll re gift locally unless of use to anyone?

Could I have a look at these dolls please if you don’t mind? I have been after some for my little girl but they work out quite expensive getting them all separate xx

Twonka · 30/11/2023 20:25

I need to get some cinema vouchers what else could I include? I saw a post about balloons earlier which looked great but not really feasible for this, what else could I get to go with it other than popcorn and treats?

Kellioo · 30/11/2023 20:27

@OhThatHappenedWhatNow
Lipgloss, hand cream, bath bomb, nail varnish, face sheets

Kellioo · 30/11/2023 20:28

@welshgirl666 a bath sheet, Next usually have some nice designs

LastChristmasIgaveyoumyTart · 30/11/2023 20:32

@welshgirl666 i really think 18 is old enough to understand that her presents are the same value even if they take up less space. I also think most 18 year olds would welcome cold hard cash to spend on whatever floats their boat. Sorry if I sound like a miser but I hate the idea of buying a gift which might not be appreciated.

How about getting a classic movies scratch off poster which comes packaged in a tube. Put the vouchers in the tube first, so they would be the last thing removed, and stuff the tube with (packaged) snacks, popcorn etc)?

Thanks so much for the fossils link @Nestnearlyempty . That’s exactly what I was looking for.

Anewuser · 30/11/2023 20:34

@Christmasmcchristmasface thanks so much for boohoo man codes. Just ordered son a Christmas jumper, originally £25 down to £10.62 delivered and should get cash back too - bargain.

bizzey · 30/11/2023 20:39

Thanks .

I'm looking for dark chocolate bargains for a birthday! Usually buy one of the green and blacks sets but not currently on offer sadly.
Doesn't like Tony chocoloney. Any suggestions please?!

HBZ287 · 30/11/2023 20:53

@welshgirl666 - would she appreciate some wellies? That’d be a big present (in a box would be easy to wrap as well!)

wideawakeinthemiddleofthenightagain · 30/11/2023 21:01

@Hotchocolatemousse a football or netball?

Brilliant! That's a great stocking filler for DS2. Thank you!!!

Flubadubba · 30/11/2023 21:04

@Raindancer411 My 4 and a bit year old DD loves this. Never met anyone who doesn't. PLUS it's a massive bargain ATM!

I just picked up lovely Dark Chocolate Gingers biscuits in B& M (for teacher/ volunteer presents with an Ulster Weavers teatowel!). St Andrew's Biscuit Company. Look lovely for £1.49.

I know Border Biscuits also do some. Something a bit different than just choc.

CrochetMadRosie · 30/11/2023 21:10

Fahlo question...
I ended up doing 2 orders as suddenly thought they'd be great for 2 more teenagers.
The second order which was for one £9 bracelet and one free one has been dispatched, but my first order which was two £9 bracelets and two free ones hasn't been dispatched yet.
Has anyone who managed to order more than one free bracelet at the same
time had that order dispatched yet please?
It's probably fine, but it was the first 4 that I'd rather have!
