I think you're right, wasn't it some sort of theatre show last year? My Fair Lady or something?

Raindancer411 · 30/11/2023 16:13

@ChaseTheSun @Beckafett Thanks for the replies.

I shall have a look at the dolls as she does like princesses.

Play-doh is defiantly on the list and I missed the large ice cream van they had on Amazon for pennies the other thread!!!

Extra 25% off Claire’s accessories with the code FAM25

TheSeasonalNameChange · 30/11/2023 16:59

I still remember being jealous of the people with the free Percy pigs instead of Gary 🤣 currently got the gruffalo which would be less annoying if I hadn't tried to book months ago and it was sold out.

Speaking of last year the brown paper rolls are reduced for some sizes. I paid £6ish for 50m. Enough brown paper to wrap all your presents and your family too

Kids Against Maturity down from £19.95 to just over £4!

You have to use the lightning deal PLUS a couple of vouchers just to click to accept, and it reduces at the checkout page. This is a really good alternative to the very expensive Cards Against Humanity Family Edition.

Kids Against Maturity

I realise the deal has finished now but just in case it comes back do you think this would be suitable for a 12 year old boy?

God, it was 2 years' ago! I'm still traumatised! Xmas Grin

They'd better improve this year!

Blessedbethefruitz · 30/11/2023 17:27

@Beckafett I'm moana doll person, but I have her now, thanks! Just finished curling her hair!

evtheria · 30/11/2023 17:38

Ugh I remember wanting any edible freebie - even just a plain croissant, instead of bloody Barlow.

Today's TKMaxx offerings:
the ancient Egyptian game was absolutely massive and weighed loads. £40 I think it was, if not less.

I got the Xmas stocking lights on day one last year from M&S, which I was pleased with, then absolutely nothing of any use to me apart from £1 off a light up tin of biscuits.

To be fair, it was better than nothing, but disappointing after they had ‘bigged’ it up so much. My friend won a Percy Pig decoration on day one but it went out of stock so she ended up with nothing as Marks wouldn’t substitute. (I think they relented about a week later, and offered her a random sleep spray, but by that time she’d lost interest!)

Waterlemon · 30/11/2023 17:48

the true bargains are definitely thin on the ground this year. I’ve usually bought a lot more by now thanks to these threads.

I’m looking for an aftershave set for a teen that has just started to take an interest in his appearance budget around £20-30.

also a men’s xxl 100% cotton towelling bathrobe.in a dark colour, would prefer navy or dark grey, definitely Not velour, it needs to be the traditional towel kind. I bought one from Amazon last year but was very thin and has it’s worn through at the back where it gets hung on the door hook.

Dee1224 · 30/11/2023 17:52

I missed the Boots advent event last year apart from a couple of days offering me money off bizarre things I would never buy.

Were any of the Boots’ days good last year?

OneFamily · 30/11/2023 18:00

@Blessedbethefruitz so pleased to hear you have Moana! 🎄

Daimyum · 30/11/2023 18:08

@OkyDoke check your asda rewards app. I have had a voucher in mine for money off at george , it might be personalised offers

Blessedbethefruitz · 30/11/2023 18:10

@OneFamily Baby Moana, she's going to love her! I got the matching tutu pjs from asda to go with :)

They’re really nice as well. I’m drinking one of the reds right now as I start wrapping everything!

nicky2512 · 30/11/2023 18:48

Can anyone remember if Hotel Chocolat normally do any deals after the Black Friday one finishes. I need a few bits and am unsure of whether to go now with the HOHOHO code or wait and see if there’s anything better!

Redcherries · 30/11/2023 19:01

I have found some bargains on House of Fraser for those sorts of bits this year. @Waterlemon

Puffalicious · 30/11/2023 19:41

Any codes floating around for Smiggle?

B&m have lots of joop/David beckham after shave sets. And saville row or Tokyo laundry for dressing gowns

unicornwonders · 30/11/2023 19:50
